I really do hate Wally's... but of all the ones I am taken into this one is the cleanest and least smelliest.

I can't even begin to tell you how sick and tired of this chain I've become. Everything about WalMart says impersonal, but I'm not here to rip into every department right now, just their Bakery. On more than 1 occasion, My wife and I have ordered special request cakes and both times this Bakery has come up short. If I could give them just a half star I would much rather do that. Let me back up to 2017 for my daughters Birthday for when she turned 15, if you know what a quinceañera is, you know how much this meant. We were on a tight budget and ordered this cake a month in advance and paid half when we ordered. The day of the party we went to pick it up, and the Cake? Wait what cake? They didn't even make the cake. You can imagine how upset my wife was. This time I was holding her back because it's typically the other way around. What can I say, the issue was somewhat resolved after we got AN acting manager involved, not to our liking or desire. They dropped the ball!!! Fast forward to this past Thursday, why we went back I can't even tell you..but we did. My wife and I, more my wife than I, wanted to get a cake for her sister and I since we share the same Birthday for a gathering today. Simple cake, full sheet, with a kit and a simple message. Called ahead to make sure it was ready this time, got put on hold for 10 minutes after I got hung up on the 1st call. Called back a 3rd time and the cake was ready! At pick up, it wasn't even a full sheet just a half sheet, the message was poorly done and mispelled and they tried pricing the cake as if it was a full sheet cake. Can I do Emojis on Yelp? It's like I was telling my wife after left the store and left the cake this time, it's no so much the cake/s that I wanted but the personal satisfaction of knowing that the personnel at your locations take pride in the quality of work they do! More often then not, no one does their Job especially in that capacity, with great lengths or measures of pride at this WalMart. How does this reflect on your other Locations? Totally unacceptable to have 16 carts lined up to 2 open lines. We've seen this more than once and this will be the last visit here. Oh and on a Sunday night when your store is over ran w shoppers and carts loaded and over flowing it would be a good idea to not have your stock crews dropping massive pallets in the middle of the isles while people shop. It's disgusting to see Wal Mart trying to save a penny by keeping only 3 cashiers working on such a busy day... I take my shopping to King Soopers on Sheridan and 80th and give them my business. Their Meat Selection is much better than the garbage you guys put on display everyday... But hey least you guys save a nickel. read more

Yeah, I know it's a Walmart. But there are good ones, and there are bad ones. This one would score better if it weren't for the state of their fish. My son loves looking at fish, so we often head over to check them out. All I can seem to see are dead fish floating, dead fish at the bottom of a tank, dead fish being eaten, dead crabs here, parts of dead crabs over there. It's disgusting that they are not taking better care of their fish, which are LIVING BEINGS. If you can't do something so basic as cleaning the tanks and removing the dead bodies, you shouldn't sell fish and leave it to those who are responsible enough to do the basic necessities. I found everything just fine but my issue is with the cashier and another employee. I noticed with the customer in front of me that he continued talking with another employee during the time he was checking her groceries. When he handed her the receipt his body was turned toward the person he was talking to and he just stuck his arm out with the receipt . When I came up he cont. to talk to the employee and didn't say one word to me. He said what was owed, gave me a receipt and kept on talking to his friend. I told him he could at least say hello and stop all the blabbing and pay attention to his customers. I'm not a happy camper . read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! It was not only late, it was super late. The order was supposed to be delivered in between 4-6 pm on Friday, On calling the customer service after 6 pm to ask about the status, she didn't had any clue what's going on and no idea about how long do I have to wait. I waited till 7:30 and then went for movie because I had plan previously. Next day in the morning I called back again the customer service, they said we can deliver you the groceries by 1:30 ish and then again I received a call from the nearest groceries manager who is calling me at 1 that our truck haven't left yet and don't know how long is it going to take them to leave the store. All the time they kept forcing me to cancel the order. I don't understand why they take the orders if they cannot fulfil. Moreover, they charge $9 for delivery and still don't deliver it. I don't think walmart care about their customer's time value. This whole grocery delivery by walmart is the worst experience I ever had. Customer Service Agent didn't knew anything, she just processed the refund for the delivery charges because my order was not delivered on time. Other than that, she couldn't answer me one simple thing when I asked that give me a time or time frame when the groceries will be delivered. And she didn't knew it, she wasn't confident at all. All she did is gave me the contact detail of the manager of store who is responsible for the deliver truck and even he responded me the same way as the customer service agent and didn't had any clue when the groceries are going to deliver. Also, they call you a liar. Customer service agent told me that driver called me and I didn't picked the call but in reality I never got any call or have any voice message. Don't order online for pickup here. Staff kept giving me a different story everytime I called. Very bad training of their representatives. Management should be ashamed. This for a time before I had help, which was earlier this year. My friend and I decided to stop in for a yard of fabric because it was too late for Joann's fabrics. So we go in and spent some time looking at fabric. Then we find what we want and decide we're ready. There's no button at the counter to page for help (I've seen one at some and questioned seriously if they even work). So I finally walked over to electronics and asked them to page for someone. I did this two or three times. We were probably there for 45 minutes total. In that tone we counted 15 employees walking by, looking at us, and doing and saying nothing. Of those employees, 2 people actually stopped and asked if we needed help. 1 kept going to electronics for us to get them to finally page a manager. 20 minutes of that no one came. The other, we're pretty sure want even on the clock, went and hunted down a manager and brought her to us. After we had our fabric, we talked to the manager and explained how many people walked by and how we were ignored, and she couldn't have cared less. The process of cutting fabric takes very little time most of the time. How hard would it be to train all your employees in it? read more

Every time we have to go to this location, nothing is stocked. Can never find a willing employee to help us, and when we do to see if they have something in the back, it takes 20 mins and then they still don't have it. For two weeks we kept going back for one item and they kept telling us it'll come on the next truck, and we would wait a couple days and get the same story again. I found myself needing tights and cheap dress shoes because it snowed at the beginning of May, and I didn't have the right stuff to wear. This place isn't terrible for a Walmart. I don't see too many people in their PJs with no teeth. There was a while there were I would see kids running out with stuff they didn't pay for every time I went. Now there is a security guard in the front every time I go. I have only been followed around the store once by a creep but I could have easily knocked him out with my cucumber I bought. Also the smell of McDonald's fills the air since there's one in there along with a bank and hair salon. The lines are awful of course but there is self checkout. Self checkout randomly declines my card and embarrasses me in front of my friends. read more

1. No receipt. "we've gone paperless" . 2. They drop the items ordered at the door. Literally. He parked a plastic crate with sacks on the step blocking my screen door open, and expected me to lean over, practically standing on my head, and unload the c. rate. Wrong on SO many levels. I'm 60 and not that steady; leaving the door standing wide open lets heat/cold in or out, no security, nothing 3. He handed me an electronic thing to sign, while I had 3 sacks in my hands. Maybe I was supposed to sign with my nose? No chance to check the order before you sign. 4. They assured me everything was there and no substitutions. Wonderful, until I get in the shower the next morning and find that rather than the bottle of shampoo I ordered, I have a bottle of cream rinse. I emailed them. PSA: I am LIVID! My dad visited a Walmart in Romeoville, IL and used their money center to send me a moneygram (which was of a larger amount) . Due to me loosing my license, he set up a security question which would allow me to retrieve the money. He did everything correct on his part. The walmart employee failed to enter the security question which required my dad to REVISIT the store. As I was trying to retrieve the moneygram, ignorant that the first Walmart employee failed to do his job, I dealt with a woman named Carrie @ Westminster Walmart in Colorado! Within my experience with her, she projected a hateful and demeaning attitude in her tone as if she assumed I was attempting to retrieve money that was not entitled to me. She proceeded to walk off whispering to another employee. I called the walmart in Romeoville that admitted to their mistake & he informed me that it was fixed. I asked for another employee to serve me at the Money Center. Carrie joined the new employee helping me behind the desk and proceeded to slide her a note behind the desk regarding me while making SMART remarks like, "See, It isn't there", smirking and taking my situation for a complete joke. This was the most unprofessional customer service agent I have ever experienced! I asked for a form to submit a complaint and they handed me a piece of computer paper! I will never spend money at this Walmart & I advise you not to as well! I asked for corporates number and everyone's attitude changed. Dont judge a book by its cover, because while youre thinking I'm participating in illegal activity because I'm receiving a moneygram more than your monthly check, I've already stepped over all your in-store authority and my situation is handled! read more

Dirtiest store EVER. EW. Bathrooms are so unacceptable it is not even funny. They have merchandise strewn about everywhere except where it goes, cosmetics are blocked off and you are watched while you shop and have to pay right then and there (not optional)... so you have to check out there, and then again for all other things you are buying. Wow what an experience! Go in to buy a padlock and find a couple others items as well. Padlock says $2.97 right? Get up to the checkout and they say its $19.97. So I tell her it says $2.97 where I got it off the shelf, and she says sorry that's the price. Wtf? Not even going to check the price? So I get the other cheap that I wanted minus the padlock. Which I can in for. I start to go out the front door and I'm stopped to ask for my receipt which the checkout girl forgot to give to me. So I can't leave with what I just bought. Go back to the checkout and its a different girl. She says she doesn't know where the other girl went to. So now I'm pissed and tired. Just want to leave with what I paid for. Go to the customer service to return everything because at this point if I can't leave with it then I want my money back. They say sorry we can give you a gift card. Wtf? I just bought 3 items on my bank card yet I get a gift card? This is rediculous. I had to go out to my car get my phone show that they just charged me for the items and then they come up with a receipt and here you go now you can leave. Haha yeah right I want my money back just because I'm pissed. After they return my funds the girl at the counter (which is the supervisor tonight) says next time hold on to your receipt so this doesn't happen again. Wow? Really? After all this you're going to blame me for not giving the receipt to myself? How about I never go to one of your stores ever again. Just because of this I'm even canceling my Sams club membership. I felt like I had stolen something. Never felt so belittled in all of my life. Concept is great. People are great, courteous and punctual. Actual ability to fill the order is disappointing. Last order I placed included 8 items in order to meet the $50 minimum for a $10 off coupon code. When I arrived to pick up, only 5 items in my order were presented. Two of the items "not available" were common produce items with substitutions allowed. (Kudos to W-M for still allowing me to use the coupon code.) Previous order was missing items as well. If the point of the service is to save us time, then they need to step up on filling a whole order, or limit our selection to items they CAN deliver. If they don't, we're stuck making a stop to pick up the missing items anyway. I may use again and hope for the best. Also find the minimum order amount required keeps me from using the service, as this is my "fill-in" grocery store. read more

We stay in Westminster 1 week every year. This WalMart has saved us numerous times over the years. Whether is an ethernet cable, toiletries, or food for the kitchenette, WalMart provided a one-stop fix. We get back to the hotel late at night so running to this all-night store is extra convenient as we don't have to spend our daylight hours shopping at specialty stores. read more

Having worked retail for 6 years, I realize it isn't an easy job and I try to approach everything with a certain level of understanding... This being said, I went to do the self check-out (at the Wal-Mart 8/14, 5:30pm) and I told the person at the computer that the wrist brace I had gotten was ringing up at $25 and the tag said $14.99. He told me it was probably in the wrong place and asked if I still wanted it. I said there were others in the same place. He then told me to go to register #14 and that they would handle it from there. I waited in the line and then when "Vanessa" (the manager) went to do a price check she came back and told me it was $25. She brought other similar items up (that were closer to the price I was looking for which was respectable but too little to late). I had already been passed over to the other side of the store, no one appeared to want to deal with me... I asked what she could do and she told me that she couldn't do anything. So I wasted over a half hour for nothing, the refused to honor the price, and really just an example of why I don't typically shop at Wal-Mart. I gave my money to a local drug store for the wrist brace. I will never shop there again... read more

Walmart grocery pickup. Awesome! I have been using this service for six months now in Jacksonville, FL. It has changed my life! So easy. No more looking for parking, trudging through the store (which is difficult for me at 68 years old), buying impulse items I don't need, standing in long & slow checkout lines, loading the groceries into my car in extreme heat, rain or cold. It couldn't be easier. Anytime I think of something I want or run out of, I go to my tablet where I keep my shopping cart open & I add it to my shopping cart. When I'm ready, I schedule a pickup time, drive to the store. There is easy-access reserved parking. I downloaded an app for checkin. They email me that my order is ready, I tap the checkin app to let them know I'm on the way. They see by GPS you have arrived, grab your cold items like milk, ice cream, etc., and are out the door to you usually in about 5 minutes. The delivery persons are very friendly & courteous. They load your car once you sign for items. No tipping, no upcharge. You drive away! I could go on & on, but you get the idea. Thank you, Walmart, a place I've shopped for years because of prices but hated every trip. It was always exhausting for me. Now I'm thrilled every time I go! read more

Went out of my way to go to this Walmart after work to find a specific "Cars" car for my 4yo nephew... I was looking for "Jackson Storm", apparently this particular one is really popular right now because I've been unable to find it ANYWHERE! So as my friend and I were looking through all of the ones on the display, with no luck, we asked an associate nearby who was stocking if there was any of this particular toy anywhere else, he pretty much said no and walked away.. then we looked up and sitting there, were 2 boxes, over flowing with these "Cars"! We called for an associate again but this time the gentleman that helped us was fantastic! His name is Will, he came and took the first box down and my friend and I proceeded to RIP through the box to find this "Jackson Storm" car... with no luck.. so Will takes the other box off of the shelf and again we ripped through the box like our life depended on it and wouldn't you know it! 1 package with "Jackson Storm" in it! And he told us not to worry about cleaning up the huge mess we had made, he was so awesome and polite, and unfortunately in today's world you don't see that very often. Most helpful associate that I've ever encountered EVER at any Walmart! So thank you again Will! read more

My recent experience with Walmart Grocery was absolutely atrocious. Everything they could mess up, the messed up. First, I tried to check in w/ the online app and kept getting a message saying their system wasn't working, then when I got there, I parked where the sign said the Grocery Pick Up was and tried to talk to one of the employees walking by, and he totally ignored me. Then, I called the store to let them know I was there and was told they would bring my order right out. It never happened. 20 minutes later, I discovered that I was supposed be parked about 15 feet away where there are red buttons to push to let them know I'm there. (The employee who ignored me could have easily told me that, if he hadn't been more intent on smoking his cigarette than talking to me.) Then, I moved over to the "other" grocery pick up area and pushed the red button & was told someone would be "right out" w/ my groceries. 15 minutes later, I try to call the store manager. I'm told that Justin will be right with me. 5 minutes later an assistant manager not named Justing talks to me and says he can't help me. Finally, after nearly an hour, someone brings out my order. And, of course it's got several errors, I discover when I get home. No lettuce. There was a bag w/ the a "substitution" sticker on it. They had substituted one item I ordered w/ something completely different and hadn't bother to ask me if that would be okay. There was one extra of another item that is perishable so will end up being thrown away. Some very small items were placed in a bag all alone and some items like a carton of milk and a couple other items weren't in a bag at all. My guess is that this is par for the course w/ Walmart, and no effort will be made to rectify the situation. read more

I asked a CUSTOMER SERVICE person for some help locating help as the department I was shopping in was EMPTY of Walmart staff. She started yelling at me!!!!! OK, I gave this three stars because the first few times I used it, I had an amazing experience. They were prompt and the Walmart employees who brought my groceries out out had great customer service. It is so incredibly helpful that they offer the service. In fact, it has caused me to quit shopping target quite so much. Instead, I shop Walmart more frequently. Seriously, anything that allows me to not have to grocery shop with three children in tow gets a vote for me. However, the last couple of times I've used the service, it seems to be very unorganized. Last time I waited about 30 minutes for them to come out with my groceries. This time, my time block of scheduled time came and went and they never called me to say it was ready. When I called to check on it the guy said, "It's ready. I figured someone had already called you." Now, I am here and I've now been waiting for 47 minutes outside in my car. This is great in concept and VERY much appreciated. However, clearly some organizational kinks need to be worked out. read more

very disappointed . i've never felt so disgraced in my entire life. i bought and paid cash for a canon printer on 5/25/2021. today which is the day after, i decided to take the printer back to exchange it for a smaller one. i returned the unopened printer to customer service and the young lady opened the printer and took everything out the box . clearly you can see from the pictures on the box that it was the same printer. . .a manager named diana came to talk to me about the return. right from the start she had a very very bad attitude and was very unprofessional . she told me she wasn't going to return the printer because it wasn't the same printer that i purchased. not understanding what she was talking about i pleaded that how can it not be the same printer i purchased . makes no sense. i paid cash and had a receipt mind you. she then leaves and the other worker said that diana was going to review the camera from last night for whatever reason i don't understand why she was doing that but ok . so i waited for her to come back to see what we were gonna do to resolve this issue. she comes back and still says she won't return it. i asked her why and what did she get from reviewing the cameras. she said " i seen you make the purchese last night and when you left the store the box was all intack . '' i then stopped her and said so you saw me pursche the printer last night and when i left the store the box was all intact? right? she said yes. this is when i caught her in a lie. i said no you didn't see me last night because i had my little brother who is 15 years younger and looks nothing like me buy the printer for me because i was tired and i waited in the car. now not knowing why any of this matters , i said why are you lying now, what's the big deal ? i paid cash i have my receipt , the box was all intack when we left last night and the box was still intac when i came to return it today. then her story changes and she says i didn't say i saw you buy the printer. we argued back and forth about her lein and changing her story . i then asked for a manager , she said i am the manager. it finally ended with her telling me to leave the store and there was nothing i could do. expecting me to pick up everything and put it all back in the box she told me to leave. i said you guys opened it and took everything out the box now if your not gonna exchange it then you need to put it back together like it was when i brought it in her. diana and some younger man aggressively threw the box on the floor and proceeded to put it all back together in a very roughly manner. wouldn't be surprised if they broke something. feeling helpless i asked for her first and last name so i could call corporate. very rudely she said diana , i don't have to give you my last name. she said i'm the only manager in front here named diana and corporate will know that when i call. diana and the young man both rudely kept telling me to leave the store . there nothing more we can do for you. as i left i just kept saying they were in the wrong. so i got lied too , and treated very very poorly by diana and the young man helping her. for the record the first young lady that helped me was very nice and treat me the way i should of been treated. i don't know why i was treated this way . i paid cash and i had my receipt and i rarely have to return anything. the only time i do this year i get treated like this. i did contact corporate and the better business bureau. i spend a lot of money at walmart as well as my whole family i think my wife is there at least 4 days out of the week. she continues to shop there even though when she returns she is always upset as she tells me she feels stereotyped and very uncomfortable being followed by floor walkers, we always give walmart the benefit of the doubt because we love your store this incident changes a lot thanks for nothing walmart.... read more

Very efficient service from Walmart. I ordered groceries for home delivery and they arrived the very next day with free shipping. This is a great service when buying heavy or bulky items and saves me having to carry them, as well as spend time at the grocery store. read more

Took my prescriptions there and 9 times out of 10 they are incredibly rude. Usually starts off with them saying that they can't read the prescription when I know that's bull because Target and Walgreens don't seem to have an issue. Then they tell me they don't have enough to fill a 30 day script and if I get it filled I forfeit whatever part they don't have. That's not ok. Target here I come. read more

Horrible customer service! I went in to exchange a hair straightener because it was missing pieces and was worn out. I went in 3 days later and at first they didnt want to they said that it wasnt the same one that was on the box but for some stupid reason it was okay for them to sale it to me like that( it was the same brand and that item picture did come up on the receipt from the walmart app). Then they say that why didnt i return it that day because i didnt want to straighten my hair till 3 days later and didnt notice i didnt get what i paid for. I asked for a manager and she says the same thing that it cant be returned in that condition and she was going to check the cameras (dont know what good that would be) but after trying to get them to understand my point about 40 mins later they finally let me exchange it. i shouldve just got my money back and token my business somewhere else definitely not going there again!
