Walmart is somewhat of a destination of last resort for me. If I can't find an item elsewhere, or the price premium feels unreasonable, I'll head here. This is one of two Walmart locations near me, and both feel a bit tired. Items can be hard to locate, and stock levels are inconsistent. On this visit, there weren't many staffed checkout lanes open, and there were only a few self-checkouts open. Once I was able to find an open self-checkout it worked well. As expected, prices are often very competitive, though quality can be hit or miss. Overall, I find Target to be a much better shopping experience than Walmart. read more

I always visit this Worcester Walmart supercenter store but never had any unpleasant experience. Unfortunately, experienced terrible non-customer friendly rude behavior from the employee at checkout counter 34 (at 930 pm) today evening (9/18). This lady was busy in her own world, after billing didn't even hand my bag nor signaled me to pick up, pretended to look in some other direction. She even left my 6-bottled water lying on her table. I went for the automotive service, the technicians are very polite and professional. My only complaint is about the auto care manager Ken. He was very rude and not professional. It is hard to believe how he became a manager there. Totally not qualified. read more

I am disabled therefore I count on grocery deliveries that are carried to my third floor apartment. Twice this month deliveries were dumped on the front porch rather than brought upstairs. The problem is the random delivery services Walmart uses with random people that do not read or care anout personal delivery requirement. Therefore I have canceled my service. Delivery instructions were detailed in my notes from the beginning as well as individually to the driver. I have always tipped my delivery people well. read more

My boyfriend and I spent a good amount of time this evening shopping at this location just to get to checkout with a full cart and be told that you have NO BAGS! Luckily my boyfriend had a large contractor bag in his car so we put a majority of our items into it. There was no sign at the entrance warning us that you have NO BAGS! It would have been great to know there's absolutely NO BAGS in the store BEFORE we started shopping! I could have split the trip into multiple smaller trips to make things easier on us. Shame on you for not having bags! First you expect us to check our own items out at the self-checkout, and this is the SECOND TIME we've gone and there were NO BAGS!! How do you expect to compete with your competitors when you regularly run out of bags?? If you shop here, bring your own bags!! They're also regularly out of items that should be there! read more

I don't even know where to start. I ordered on Tuesday, 5-9, for a delivery between 4-6. Received an email that they were running behind and I would have my delivery by 8. Received a call after 8 that they were closing and they'd get my delivery to me as early as possible the next day (Wednesday). I left work early so my items wouldn't sit out in the sun when delivered. I tried calling ALL day. From open to close. I tried pick up/delivery, operator, deli, bakery and electronics. Not once did somewhere answer. My order was not delivered. After about 50 calls this morning, I got a hold of a manager who worked with an employee in the pick up/delivery department who said they would have this delivered today. I finally received my order (the fault isn't on the driver that came today at all unless he was the one who picked out my items) and it only had maybe 15% of the items I ordered and half of them were wrong. I went in and selected substitutions for every single item and not one substitution was something I requested. The website shows my whole order delivered minus two items out of stock but the vast majority of it was not delivered. I tried calling again for hours. 4 or 5 times someone in the order pick up/delivery department picked up and hung up. Finally got a hold of someone after a solid 50+ calls who asked what happened and said they'd get me a manager, I waited on the phone for 50 minutes on hold. No manager ever came. Tried calling again with no answer for another 30-50 calls. Finally got a hold of someone again, asked for a manager, the person said "hold on one second" yelled "Greta!" to someone then left me on hold and a manager never came. I have never ever had an experience like this with a store/service/purchase in my entire life. The idea that it is impossible to get a hold of a human being after 2 straight days of calling from open to close is unbelievable. Now I have a order that was over $300 that is missing almost all of the items and a store that does not answer its phone all day in any department. I don't understand how a business can be this unprofessional. There is no excuse for the items I received. No one even attempted to fulfill my order correctly and this is after a TWO day wait. Auto service zeros. Order online, have appt at 7am for a week. Get there, no one shows up till 730. Then they announce that because the tires are oversized they won't mount them. Very weird place. I avoid coming to this Walmart and when i do it's definitely not by choice. Yeah it's pretty big and there might be a bigger variety of products but i just feel uncomfortable in this place. The parking is awkward and you might have to walk a lot depending on where you park. When you walk in you're met by these metal bars i guess it's what stops people from just walking out of the place without paying but if they needed that then you can leave it to your imagination what kind of people come here. There's always a lot of crack heads standing outside and it's really uncomfortable walking out of the store with your groceries when they're there and especially if you're a woman and alone. read more

Do not go to this Walmart. Please believe me, as someone who has lived in this community for many years. I have known people who would rather take the extra 10 minutes to drive to the ones in nearby Leicester or Oxford. Why? Because - 1) there are less people who go to those ones, meaning less chances of being held up because Mrs. Karen and her daughter are walking at a snail's pace in front of you, 2) the workers (AND customers) in those locations actually care about and are considerate with the cleanliness of products on the aisles, unlike this location, 3) those ones obviously have better management, whereas this one seems to...not have any managing going on whatsoever (?). Here's the best way I can describe this Walmart: every time I come here, I get socioeconomically depressed and feel like I'm trapped in a hole. What cemented this review was my witnessing of a customer who dropped their own feces all over the floor near the electronics section, and there was not a single person working there to control the situation. The auto service here was awful. Twice I've gone here and twice Ashley would not say anything to me. I'm very polite I say hello I called about this and then she just starts typing away on her tablet. The most she will ever say to you is "phone number" then even though I called in advance and asked her TWICE if they definitely have time for a walk in, she tells her boss oh I have to leave at 3 today we don't have time. So I drove all over the state (my appointment was for another location and somehow the brilliant website sent them to Worcester) and I end the day with no tires. read more

This walmart saved us from a possible car wreck. My windshield wiper flew off during a major thunderstorm - I drove about 8 miles with only a working passenger side wiper. I wish I can rate them lower than 1 star. it's a store of misconception and racism. I'm new to Massachusetts so to go to a Walmart and be kick out by AP for requesting customer service and clarity makes me believe that this store prioritize racist individuals who abuse there authority because they don't have the patience to deescalate a customer service issue. The information given to me as I was being kicked out was the information I requested from 3 other individuals at customer service. Charlie the "store manager" has absolutely no interpersonal skills and treats people of color negatively and inconsiderately. I will tell everyone never go to this location because this location clearly does not care that there patrons are being arrested or thrown out of the store if a "manager" doesn't want to be bothered. I'm a social worker and the treatment and disrespect, disregard, and invalidation I received for a valid issue will be something I will never forget and Walmart will most likely excuse his behavior and the other "manager" who called AP on me when I was not irate, rude, loud, or disrespectful is absolutely appalling. I placed the order at 4:06 pm the night before. At 9:30 am I saw on my tracker that it wasn't processed. I called the store and they said it's not there. Then I called Walmart corporate and they explained staff was picking out my merchandise. I called the local store right after and they confirmed that my order would be ready at 11am. From 10:45 - 11:10 am the store purposely did not answer any of my calls. My friend (who was picking up my order) had stated that the whole time they were right by the phone. So clearly they ignored my calls because my friend told the person by the phone that I would be calling. During this time, my friend said that when she tried to talk to staff they would just ignore her. The few times she was able to speak to staff, she said they would engage in conversation with her for one minute then walk away, even if she was mid-speaking. Then, when they finally picked up my call at 11:15 they said it wouldn't be ready until 12. Then at 12pm, I get an email saying that it's late. It wasn't ready until 1pm. I am shocked and extremely upset how RUDE and disrespectful the staff was. In person, they were incredibly disrespectful. And even talking to them on the phone you could tell they were annoyed and didn't want to be bothered with me. Not only that, but they clearly dodged my calls. They received my order at 4pm the night before and it was clearly in the system in the morning. Why did it take ALL morning and afternoon to pick my order? I am livid and absolutely disguised with the service my friend and I received. I will not be placing an online order again at this location. read more

One of the worst customer experiences I've had in my life (I'm not young) Waited over an hour to be helped with only two customers in front of me. Counter help never looked up or acknowledged those in line. When it was my turn, I was bypassed for another customer with no acknowledgement. When I was finally helped I was told they did not have the tires I needed despite being told over the phone they had them. Wow I would give 0 stars if available. I ordered a food delivery the day before for a delivery time of 12pm-1. At 1pm order was still in preparing state. I called the store several times to be transferred to a dept that doesn't pick up the phone. Then asked the associate picking up phone for a supervisor who hangs up on me several times trying to transfer me to a supervisor.... Where do I even start. I bought 4 new tires here for my car and made an appointment for them to be put on. Everything goes fine that day, I'm in and out within an hour. They tell me they weren't able to program my tire sensors, even though they're the most generic ones you can get, and the ones they sell themselves. Whatever. Next thing I know as I turn my car on, my tire light was flashing. On my part, I should've went back in and said something, but I didn't. Why would they even finish their job on my car knowing the light would be on my dash? Upon further investigation, I notice that every time my driver side front tire rotated, it feels like I'm driving over something. It also felt like my car was swaying back and forth on the highway. I had my boyfriend drive my car (he's been working in auto for 6 years) and he knew exactly what they did. They did NOT balance my tires, which I payed for. A week goes by and I notice my passenger side tire is leaking uncontrollably. I took my car to the Leicester location and they fixed everything for me. They programmed my sensors perfectly fine (even tho worcester said they were broken...) balanced my tires, AND FIXED THE BROKEN AIR STEM ON MY TIRE CAUSED BY WORCESTER. Just because I was a female they did a half ass job and thought I would never find out. What they did to me was very negligent and I could've been hurt badly. I payed for these services and they weren't even done near correct. I didn't even want to bother going back for a refund, but I just had to to let them know how much of a shit job they did, and they barely refunded me. Besides the fact that they don't do their job correctly, they do not answer the phone either. I called so many times, different days, no answer. When I went in person I noticed that their phone was ringing off the hook but the ringer was so quiet no one could hear, which I know was done on purpose. I then saw one of the workers pick up the phone (shocker) but wait, he then slammed it back down immediately to hang up on the customer calling, then proceeded to complain about all the calls. On another occasion They had a line out the door with one person working the desk, meanwhile there were 3 workers putting up a single small sign on the window. LOL. Please save your time and money and ATLEAST go to a different Walmart location. A service that was supposed to take 45 minuets ended up taking 2 hours and a lot of driving back and forth to correct. Don't risk your safety to save a few bucks. read more

This Walmart supercenter is centrally super. Right off a central highway, it provides for all your living needs and beyond. Given the enormous size of the store, it's impressive how well organized everything is, and how clean the entire place is kept given the volume of people cycling through each day. The staff are also friendly, accommodating and willing to answer any questions you may have. read more

You literally CANNOT get through this Walmart quickly. Regardless of the fact they have 20+ registers- there are usually 3-5 open with slowwwww cashiers. Even in the "express lanes". They wait is typically a half hour and I have had to leave frozen items behind due to them thawing before I get to checkout. RIDICULOUS.
