This place is the worst place I've ever come to not only am I trying to call and make a complaint but I've been literally sitting on the phone just hearing the phone ring when no one answers the phone in any department this is absolutely a disgraceful place that says they have people that are not lazy working there they tried to blame my WIC card and then tried to say two different things because it was their system that wasn't taking my WIC card for some f****** odd reason and they tried to put it on my wick that I didn't have any when I did and I knew the pin they tried to say it was those things that why it wasn't working. The Walmart here treats people like second class citizens, employees are extremely rude especially that "ROSA" lady who works at money services, first she tries to engage me in Spanish when I don't want to speak Spanish and then to correct my language between English and Spanish, who is she to correct me (just take my money and send it to where I want it to go), then she asks me all sorts of personal questions just because I'm sending $50 to a family member, why does she need my private info. After I told her to take my money so I can leave, she got upset and yelled the she would cancel the transaction if I wasn't nice, WTF...I told her she needs to take my money and I would file a complaint with management. She called me rude and said I have to respect her because she works at Walmart. Who the hell cares where you work, I am a schoolteacher and nobody cares about me, considering all the rules and regulations this current climate is imposing on everyone, and I have to be nice to the Walmart lady. She is uneducated, has a bad attitude and wants people to give up personal info to send $50 measly dollars. The Dems want no Voter ID, but I have to give up my life to send money to my brother. Normally, I sort of like Wal-Mart. It has everything I need, for the most part. However, yesterday there were a bunch of issues. First and foremost, the recycling options are terrible. My apartment does not offer recycling and so I brought 2 trash bags worth of recyclable materials. However, the majority of things I brought were not accepted into the machines (even though most were purchased at Wal-Mart). I was told the barcode could not be read. With TWO BAGS of cans and bottles I got ten cents back. Only 2 items were accepted. Then, for the items that do not get accepted, there is not even a general recycling bin. There is only a (very overflowing) trash can. If you really care about recycling and want to make an impact, then why not have a general bin where items can be tossed for recycling instead of a trash? Seriously, it would make a difference and you would be helping the environment. Anyway...later, I went to the women's restroom. Out of 6 stalls, 1 was broken and 2 were stuffed and filled to the brim. In general, the restroom was gross. After waiting in line awhile, I took a stall after a Wal-Mart employee. The employee walked out of the stall without flushing (!!) and left without washing her hands (!!!!). I went into the stall and there was an empty brandy bottle sitting there. Just an FYI. Also, can someone please teach the cashiers how to bag items? I bought a $15 cake to take to an event and the cashier put it SIDEWAYS into the bag, thereby ruining the decorations. I told the cashier that he should not put a cake sideways into a bag. He shrugged and said "oh." I know its Christmastime and everyone is busy and the store is crowded. However, these little things can make a big impact. You have a sign in the bathroom saying you care about cleanliness. You should keep your word. read more

I bought a battery for my car about 2 years 1 month ago and it is completely dead and was told this by my dealership. I ordered 4 tires. I get an email that 3 tires are ready for pick up and one got cancelled. So it seems that my car will be converted to 3 tires instead of 4. I call customer service The first one hang up after I give her the Order No. without mentioning anything yet, I call again. The guy seemed to be on training. Every time I say something, he asks me to stay on hold. Then he said he can reorder the tire for me and will be ready on the same day. Happpy that this got sorted out, I call the tire center to make an appointment, The first lady put me on hold for 15mins. I call again, she tells me that she cannot book an appointment for me and that I need to call back on Monday. I explain to her that Walmart only holds the tires for 7 days. She said well no one here can make the appointment for me, and I need to call back on Monday. I just needed to make an appointment for next week. Well I get an email that the order was also cancelled. Now I am frustrated. I call again the Customer service, I ask to speak to a supervisor. The guy hangs up. I call again for the fourth time. The lady told me that they cannot know if the items are in stock until you place the order. So customer service people do not know what is in stock and what is not. I wasted over 2 hours for nothing. So I ask her to cancel my order and get a refund she tells me it is going to take 2-3 weeks for my cancellation to be refunded. So I explain that I did not even pick up my order she insist that the items got to go back to the warehouse. Now that is complete nonsense, I asked to speak to a supervisor she puts me on hold, and she tells me oh you will get your refund in 5 business days. WHAT A RIP OFF. Not only WALMART need to invest on their computer program so their own customer service people, know what they have in stock and what is not. They also need to invest on training their customer service people. SO UNSATISFIED. And their supervisors are hiding and not doing their jobs (Hint Hint Management). I ordered two tires from walmart.com. After they arrived, I went into the store and I had to go up to customer service and bring them back to the tire center.| After carrying my tires all the way back to the tire center they told me it would take about an hour to install the two tires. Well I came back 90 minutes later and they hadnt even started installing the tires. Come back another hour later and same thing. Finally 4.5 hours later it was done. BEST PART: they took off my two good tires and installed the wrong tires.After talking to the manager she said I could come back the next day or wait 1-1.5 hours to get them reinstalled correctly. SO I ended up having to wait another 1.5 hours. so 6.5 hours later I left the Walmart TIre Center in Worcester pretty upset I spent the whole day there. read more

I've been to many Walmarts in my day, and all have been dirty, to say the least, back in the early 2000's. Walmart today has cleaned up its act quite literally. The facility is squeaky clean, and that cleanliness extends to the aisles where items are shelved for sale. No more boxes or clothes laying around and someone is always in the bathrooms cleaning the place at least once an hour. I am giving it 5 stars because the Walmart of today actually cares about keeping its stores clean. Great job! read more

If I could score lower... I would!!!!! Typically I don't mind going to this Walmart. I was there last night (Thursday) in fact. I had to pick up things for my daughter's graduation party. I went to the bakery department to order a graduation cake, nothing special - School colors, decorated with a cap with the diploma. There was one person in the department. She told me that she could not take orders to come back tomorrow. Well considering I need the cake for Saturday, which was two days from our visit. I called the bakery department today (Friday) to place the order and they told me that they don't take telephone orders. The woman at the bakery also said that they will not be able to have the cake done in time, that they need 48 hours. I told her that I was there last night and that if the order was taken then, it would have given them plenty of time to make it and have it ready in time. I was asked to come down to place the order. Now if I could have gone down there I would have done that, but with them not even being able to guarantee that they can make it for when I need it, why should I waste my time. I was told for me to try calling back and speak with the manager and maybe the manager could help me better. While I waited the 1/2 hour to call back to speak with the manager, I called the Leicester Walmart. I spoke Tiana in the Bakery. She took my order and said it would be ready for when I need it. I am going to start going to the Leicester Walmart instead!!!! read more

Beware, I purchased a "Brand New" laptop to find out that it had been used and the warranty was in another woman's name! Upon trying to just exchange it, they refused! However, when reported it to their telecenter they said it was fraudulent for them to do so but I would hear back in 30-60 days! I am contacting the Attorney General's Office and the Better Business Bureau. Small claims court if I must. I just want what I was allegedly sold a Brand New laptop. It seems they will sell you the tires but are not interested in providing after sale balancing and rotation services: perhaps because there is no charge. I had a great experience with the sales associate Arlene yesterday at the Tobias Boland Way store. I made a stupid mistake where I got cash back from the self-service but walked away without picking it up. About five minutes later I realized my mistake and went back into the store thinking there is no chance that it would still be around. Arlene saw me walk up toward the machine and asked if I had used it and I said I had left my money there. She said "don't worry I have it." She asked to see my receipt, which I had left i the car in my rush back to the store. When I retuned with my receipt she asked to see my debit card to confirm the four final digits. She was so kind and professional in her handling the situation. I really appreciate the good job she did. read more

this was my favorite off all the walmart calls. they first transfer me to pharmacy, i said i want toys, he said I can't transfer you, call again. You can't transfer me? You don't know how to? So I call back ask for toys, they go get a manager, on hold on 15 minutes then says we have no funko pops but you can order them online, um no i can't, they're not on your website. They can check these things in 2 seconds, quite frankly he never set foot in toys, just put me on hold, then came back with the famous online thing. Thumbs down! read more

Was at the Walmart like clockwork on Sunday afternoon....unfortunately only 4 registers were open with multiple employees at both self check out counters and 4-5 people with yellow vests standing in the middle watching the lines mount to 10-15 customers deep...one asked me if I wanted to go to self check out??? We had 2 kids in tow and a cart load....(Are you kidding me?) Maybe if I had a couple items and no kids....after 10-15 minutes, someone finally calls for another cashier...?? I was a manager of a box store years ago and wasn't afraid to jump in and cut the lines down....not one in a yellow vest did so...therefore the lines kept growing and the unhappiness within the lines kept growing...after 35 minutes, the cashier started ringing in my cart load and I swiped my card 7 minutes later....these kind of wait times are totally unacceptable...at least when I was a manager...this needs to change, but what do I know...just a father of 5 and spends consistently there every week, but if this continues, we won't be going back.... read more

this walmart is a joke. since it opened i had bad experiences almost every time I go there. The employees there have no common sense at all. this time I was at the jewelry counter waiting for someone to come.for about 10 minutes. i finally went to the closest cashier to ask her if she would get someone to jewelry. I waited again because she never announced it. I asked someone that was walking by and asked her to get me someone to jewelry. she never announced it either. I waited about 15 to 20 minutes before I lost my temper. I went to customer service and again the same thing. I finally couldnt take it. walking back to jewelry i saw a manager who finally helped me. but still had to wait for the person with the key. so something that could have taken no more then 10 minutes maybe 5 took over half hour. I dont think i will ever go back to that store even if im close to it. I rather drive to another one without the hassle of this one. I really dont like this store at all. Corporate you need to start reading these comments because Im not the only one that hates this store. read more

This Walmart doesn't follow the laws about pricing. In the two years I have gone to this Walmart I have been over charged numerous times(over 15 times). Every time it ends up in an argument with a cashier and sometimes even the manager. Today my cashier rang me out for mini bananas instead of regular bananas and charged me twice as much. It took me 20 minutes to get a refund but I didn't get my bananas and they were all rude. What cashier doesn't know how to check out bananas? I even gave him the code for it because it was in my memory. They don't stand behind their work. I had the auto department change tires on my girlfirends car and they crossthreaded three studs and they broke(they only told us about one). They expected us to sue them if they wanted the money unless they could just pay $20 for the stud. Replacing a stud is almost as much work as replacing the brakes. Stay away from this Walmart if you can. I am not an immigrant but they think they can push you around in my opinion because most of their customers are immigrants and won't go to court. This is my opinion from my experiences at this Walmart which I also think has a mouse problem. read more
