Contacted customer service the day it happened after 10 hrs late. Customer service now says its still out for delivery, which it isn't, so they cant issue me a refund because it still says delayed. My tire was quickly losing air and I was traveling from Phoenix to San Diego on a Sunday. I was very grateful for the employee who took care of me because he was quick to set my heart at ease, being that I was traveling with my daughter. I was worried that we would get stuck in an area where I don't get service. His level of expertise reassured me that we would get back on the road as soon as possible and make it home safe. I was in the self checkout line at Walmart on Pacific in Yuma AZ this morning (11/22/20) and I was really impressed with a young man who worked there, named Patrick. As he monitored the line he was helpful and affirming to folks no matter who they were. He was amazingly courteous and sincere with his charm and humor on top of being efficient and helpful. He was such a breath of fresh air. After being locked down, not being able to see faces, and now most help coming from self service where it can feel so impersonal- this guy made you feel connected to community and cared about and seen. Of the 3 Walmarts in Yuma, this one is the oldest, but you wouldn't know it because they just finished redo-ing things inside, and they jazzed up the logo on the outside of the building. This one is the quietest, second only to the Foothills store. The parking lot is huge, but after it rains, much of that parking lot becomes a lake, so beware. Otherwise, it's our go-to for Walmarts. read more

Well I gotta tell you folks. If you want a cheap place to Live and have anything that passes as a trailer or I guess a tent you can live at the Walmart on Pacific Avenue where it is snow bird city. It's free, that's right folks they tug their giant $200,000 trailers and stay the winter for free. I would think if you can afford a house that expensive you would at least tug it into a park somewhere. Funny thing most bring out grills chairs etc. I mean this is like a trailer park. Most of these people sit on the curb with signs saying need food or out of work. I gotta tell you folks I couldn't afford to buy one so why would I hand out money to someone with obviously more money then me. This is the biggest joke of the town. Now I know Walmart let's you spend a night for safety of truckers. This is a little much. When you see chairs, grills and folding tables outside your trailer you are staying more than a night, makes the place look trashy with all the beggars at every entrance. No other place in Yuma encourages squatters. I'm sure they purchase all their drinks and barbecue needs there but come on folks. It would be nice to shop at Walmart in peace instead of having to be accosted if god forbid your window is open, they swoop at you for money. In a town where you can go and squat in the middle of the desert for free, Walmart should provide them maps to these areas. read more

Horrible customer service. Just got in from San Diego. Realized we forgot some presents. Check Wal-Mart's website for hours. Said they closed at 6pm. Got there at 5:30. Manager would not let us in. They wanted to be off at 6. Not be closed at 6. There were many others upset. read more

As far as Walmarts go, this is one of my favorites on the west coast. Partly because I can drive a golf cart there and they have special golf cart spaces for the patrons from rv park next door. This super store is HUGE! They have everything here and the prices were competitive. It was actually cleaner than most Walmarts I've been to and not as sketchy. Most Walmarts I've found require a police cruiser to be parked out front. Of the Walmarts I've been too, this is certainly one of the best. Went for an oil change. Asked for air to be placed in my tires. My paperwork states the pressure in all 4 tires is 40. Hmmm, they need 50. No matter what the pressure it wasn't done. This is a major issue with most Walmart's. Now for the store: Big, bright, very clean, organized with great employees who are very helpful. read more

As aforementioned in a previous review, I'm not a fan of Walmart and am almost never excited to go to one. This one changed my mind! This location was very well organized except for the space in front of the aisles and for the first time ever I saw a grocery section! This is probably one of the biggest Walmarts I have ever seen. Every aisle is clearly marked with signs of the merchandise available, and they offer more than most store locations. I love the friendly service that I received here because the one back home makes it seem like everyone is depressed at work. Their negative mood does affect how I feel after my shopping experience! I went Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve, which I expected employees to be overwhelmed (which they were) and I helped people along the way as I collected the items I needed in the grocery section then I moved on to the electronics as I needed to purchase a stereo for my wife. She never buys herself anything new like this and it was in my price range so I said, "Why not?" I found empty racks (another problem I was expecting so no surprises there) but I found a Sony stereo that was affordable and I grabbed it. The packaging didn't have any wear or tear on the outside and I have never had any issues with Walmart so I placed it in my cart, checked out, and headed home. The top of the box (as I mentioned before) looked like it was never opened so I figured all I had to do was wrap it up and wait till the next day to see how my wife would react. That morning when she arrived home from work we opened our presents and I received the reaction I was looking for. So I told her to open the box and check it out. In doing so, she came to find a receipt sitting on top of the Styrofoam in the box. It was dated a few days before that someone had purchased this stereo from the Walmart in the Foothills. Not only was this stereo returned but the person whom bought it before me paid a lower price. My wife was heartbroken to see the price as we can't afford much and that I went out on a limb on this purchase. This whole event would have been different if Walmart would have been honest. Finding something like this on Christmas really set our holiday on a bad path. I wish no one else has/had to go through this because it is very upsetting. Thanks for nothing Walmart. However, the cashier that rung up my purchases was very helpful and kind. read more

I give this Walmart and every Walmart in my area one star, and maybe not even that. You cannot do returns at night anymore, which sucks for me because I work nights and I just can't make the time they are open. I have to wait till my vacation just to return items. That is just dumb Walmart. I wish they didn't exist. Another problems that they lock everything up, so if I want to get a simple razor cartridges to shave, I have to wait 15 to 20 minutes until the person with a key can unlock the security thing. Like if they are worth billions of dollars. Smh I have to do most of my shopping online because of that. Sad world we live in. Also, they get mad to the distributors that deliver products for not stocking up shelves, and yet they can't even stock up their own items on the shelves. When you asked them about the item you are looking for, they are just dumbfounded. They don't know who does the ordering. They just work there but they don't know what is going on. We were headed to San Diego early and on a holiday weekend and noticed we needed to get a tire replaced. We needed to get to SD for our flight training. Nothing was opened except the Super Walmart Center. Went to Pacific Ave. They were fast, efficient and wonderful. Accommodated us even with our dogs. Shopping here is nice and fun this is by far my favorite walmart when i need to buy stuff. And also the one in foothills these two are the best. But the other ones no. Anyways i am giving this three stars because if you come and shop here its easy to find what you need and it feels like they have more stuff than the other walmart. Went to Wal Mart on Pacific Avenue today which is located in Yuma,Az USA. My reason for the one star is because when I was paying the cashier for my items I told her I needed a 20lb bag of ice also. I paid for the ice and went to the ice freezer at the north entrance and all they had were 10lb bags. I did some quick math and said hell , I'll just take 2 of these. I was stopped at the door by a Hispanic door greeter who asked me something in Spanish. I told her I don't speak Spanish and she kept saying things in Spanish. She then started pointing at my receipt then pointed to the other entrance for me to get the 20lb bag at that freezer. This is America!!!!!!!! Your "door greeter" needs to speak and know English. read more

I just don't like this location and I try not to go. Every time I go here, something seems to go wrong. I always seem to go at the worst time; when every one else is there. To be very honest I live not even 5 minutes from this Walmart and I refuse to go in to it! I will drive 15-20 minutes to the Walmart on 32nd instead. When I use to shop in the Walmart on Pacific I always had problems and bad experiences. The associates and manages I dealt with are super rude and very unprofessional. I have actually worked at Walmart in Illinois, Texas, and Iowa in a 7 year period and shopped at lots of other Walmarts locations.... this Walmart is the worst for me! I have shopped this Wal-Mart 2 times I normally go to the one on 24 th and b or the one in San Luis. Both times I have gotten very poor customer service. I price match as many items as I can. And I am very practiced at this ,very prepared, I have everything ready for the checker when I get to the check out. Even to the extent of actually writing the competitor's price on the products to help speed things up. I don't mind being asked to provide proof on meat and such but both times I've shopped there it has been a extremely tedious process. Challenging me on most of my prices, was even told that I can't write on my products. Excuse me but I'm buying it, I'll write on it if I want. Needless to say I will NEVER SHOP AT THIS WALMART LOCATION AGAIN!! I do not have the time or the patience to put up with there poor attitudes and so called professionalism. If they do not want to honor the price match guarantee without frustrating their customers then they need to change there policy. I'll spend my $ 600.00 a month at a more friendly store. I can never get Powerade low cal FRUIT punch at your store . I shop there almost daily but always out of stock. I would think that if a product is constantly out of stock some one would have the fore sight to place a bigger order instead of a customer having to go to Fry's or Albertsons for that product and maybe start shopping there instead of Walmart. read more
