Gluten free isle review: Being gluten free you have to store hop like crazy... we found that this specific Walmarts gluten free isle has a way more to choose from. We actually get a few shelves! They have several cracker varieties, various noodles, several breads (they also have some in the bread isle), cakes, fudge. I was excited for to find a bigger space with more options. Don't get your oil changed here unless you want oil stains on your interior and a stripped bolt on your oil tank. Whoever was the blonde boy with glasses who changed my oil you ruined my day, by getting oil stains all in my beige interior because you can't seem to wear shoe covers. Also making the bolt on my tank so fucking tight it strips when you try and loosen it, you suck for that. That's just laziness at that point. I came in to exchange my sweater size to the right size, and I kindly asked the lady working at the fitting rooms about how I can get into the fitting room and how to exchange my sweater size. She started to get impatient with me for asking just those 2 questions, and made me feel really bad that I even asked her those questions.. So I can appreciate a friendly checkout clerk, but when you go to the self check out I always thought that you get the benefit of not having to deal with talking to someone, or someone checking out your items for you. I'm sure her intent was in the right place but the attendant for the self checkouts would seriously not leave me alone. In fact I'm pretty sure she scanned about 50% of my items with her own personal scanner. I did not give any inclination that I wanted her help. I honestly was just having one of those days where I would rather be left alone hence the reason why I went into the self check out. I can appreciate her enthusiasm and willingness to help but sometimes you got a let a guy do his own thing. Other than that this places just like any other Walmart. I think a lot of these people take their job way too seriously. Good people overall though. read more

IF THERE WAS AN OPTION FOR FUCKING ZERO THAT WOULD BE IT!!!! Today at 19:03, I bought a ink cartridge when we got home opened the outside package and the inside was already open and there was no tab to pull where the ink would come out. Put the thing in my printer and it said it was empty. At 21:30, went back to the store to return it talked to Bernice(Mgr) she stated she couldn't do anything for me cz it was open even if I didn't open it. I told her that was BULLSHIT! She said, "THE ONLY PPL WHO CAN HELP YOU NOW IS HP!" Went and bought another $70 fucking dollar ink cartridge "AS IF MONEY GREW ON TREES!" When I was back there I talked to the gal at the register that checked me out at first. She stated that ppl have been returning ink all the time and walked up to talk to the (Mgr) Bernice again and she even explained that this has been happening ppl have been returning ink cartridges she could careless that her employees telling her that this has been happening she asked speak to another (Mgr) Matt even and they just had no regard to anything the employee said. I have never had such poor customer service. On top of that it was as if the employee that was helping me Ms. Mgr Bernice was pissed at her for doing her job and helping a customer as you are told to in Walmart. read more

The lack of customer service provided by support manager Jessy (young, bright red hair) is dismal. She got called to address an issue and was completely condescending. I get it, your a manager, you probably dealt with a lot that day. That is not a reason to be rude to your fellow employees and unhelpful to your guests. I saw this happen 3 separate times in 1 trip. Perhaps she is a better fit for a non-customer facing role? I highly encourage those of you reading this to look at my other reviews and note that I am pretty fair in my assessments. As you can see from the location of my previous reviews, I have traveled across the US and have encounter all kinds of people. Someone has to do something VERY WRONG for me to feel apt enough to post a negative review. However, Jessy's behavior warrants this review and a follow up call to Walmart corporate. Receipt checking has become a complete joke. Legally they can't require the receipt unless they suspect shoplifting. The reason they have gotten rid of .08 bags is because that can't legally check bags but they can stop you if you don't have one. The "security guard" I interacted with tonight was a jerk. This review is for Pokémon cards. THEIR POLICY IS TRASH AND NEEDS TO CHANGE. On one hand I am happy that they have them locked up. A lot of store don't, but on the other hand they really need to change the policy. Currently it is you can get 2 packs but not duplicated packs. So when they are running low you can only get one pack because that is all they have (this is incredibly stupid). I think you should be limited 5 of any packs, excluding any booster box. Those should be limited. Game stop is limited to 5. Which sounds pretty reasonable. Please change this policy. read more

I love Wal-Mart and anyone that knows me, knows that. But this location is an absolute dump!!! All the bathrooms are in such run down shape. The customers while I was there were literally fighting with eachother! The stock and inventory and was not full or plentiful as the other locations in Vancouver. Went in just before midnight last night: a late night run for a few items. Due to mobility problems, I am not able to walk thru large stores & am always very glad to be able to use the electric shopping carts, however, surprisingly, that late at night, none were available. An employee noticed me just standing there & asked if I needed help, of which I inquired about the electric carts. She said the 2 that they had were in use. I've shopped this store before, although not frequently, and remembered them having more. The employee stated that 3 had been sent out for repairs over a month ago & had not been returned yet. There was an elderly woman sitting on the bench who stated that she had been waiting an hour for an electric cart to come back for her to use. Not wanting to wait, I went ahead and walked to get what I needed back in the garden section, but painfully so. I also picked up just a few grocery items on the way back, however, I was not able to do the additional shopping for baby shower items as I had wanted, as the further walking to the opposite back corner of the store would've been too much for me. Hubby and I are in need of a larger BBQ: since they are back by the gardening/pet section, I stopped to do pricing. NO PRICES on the shelves. I loaded 2 in my cart & took them to a price check unit, however, there was a 3rd one that I wanted priced of which I had to find someone doing stocking to help with. The lady who had been sitting on the bench finally got an electric cart, as I helped her load an item in her cart. She said she waited an hour and a half. In regards to the issues with the electric carts, she said her and some other customers have been battling with the manager for a while about the situation and nothing is being done. Hmmmmm . . . As for me, when I got to the checkout, believe it or not, there was a line(which only increases my pain to have to be on my feet longer). I guess I could've walked out & went to Winco, but one of the items I wanted is not sold at Winco, nor did I want to drive further away from home, I wanted to get what I went to the store for and head home. This is kinda of a scrappy store. It's cramped and dark & dreary. We got really spoiled while living in Reno prior to moving back to the NW: Reno has (4 or 5)BEAUTIFUL, BRIGHT, cheery stores, all of them full size superstores. I miss those stores. read more

Avoid this place! I lost count of the people who were not wearing masks, I could tell that the poor cashier who took care of me was totally freaked out. There was a woman at the front who technically was supposed to be checking for masks, but she wasn't paying attention and was just looking down on her iPad. I didn't even finish shopping I was so uncomfortable. When I went to check out, this maskless family of four was behind and got really close to me. I had to walk to the front to get away from them while she rang up my items. I did not want to confront anybody, but I had to pay and she was close, so I had to tell this maskless woman to please get away from me so that I could pay. I could tell that the cashier did not feel comfortable, but would probably get in trouble if she refused service. It was terrifying, my aunt died of Covid and I can only imagine how many people have gotten it from this place. Shame on the management. read more

I also wrote my first Walmart corporate complaint because an employee wrongfully accused me of buying beer for a minor. We go to another Wally world, at least they are willing to help you there and not turn away or be rude. Unless you go shopping in the middle of the night, do not buy anything COLD!!! Your Ice Cream will turn into a shake, for some Wally world reason their lines feel like a toll both at the boarder. If you are not in a rush, like employee's who will walk the other way when you are trying to ask them a question, and have no customer service, then this Wally World is for you. OMG... I hate Walmart. I will pay 20 percent more and drive 20 miles farther to go to another store. I tried returning a Walmart car battery still on warranty to the Walmart on Highway 99 in Vancouver. I had a simple question......Since this battery is still on warranty, how much would I get back on the old battery on a pro rated basis. 3 people in the Auto Store couldn't tell me. After 15 minutes of them messing around, I asked them to get a manager. 20 minutes later one shows up, She said she didn't know anyting about batteries. Finally, they figured it out. I decided to forget the prorated battery replacement, and go somewhere that provided decent service. I really don't blame the employees. Just poor,poor management and training. read more

Really disappointed with this store. First of all, it's not a "super" Walmart, meaning they don't have any produce or a meat department. Second, it's nearly impossible to find an employee who can or will answer any questions you have. Common to many Walmart stores, there are almost no checkstands open (usually 2 or 3), and they don't have any self-checkout lanes at all. The customer service department is usually backed up with a line, and I have never once seen an employee in the "money center"; usually you just wait in line at the customer service department. Lastly, there are *always* pallets of merchandise stacked in the aisles. Everything you want to buy, wrapped in plastic on a pallet instead of sitting on the shelf. I live 3 minutes from this store and would rather drive 25 minutes out of my way to visit a different Walmart than go to this one. Definitely don't recommend this shop to anyone. read more

LITERALLY the worst Walmart location I've ever been to- which is many! a "Super Walmart" means it has a grocery store adjoined with the traditional Walmart store- what grocery store does not have a deli, bakery, *not even produce*?!?! this is a Walmart, NOT a Super Walmart. I've never been in a Super location that doesn't have the most basic food departments like that, that doesn't have perimeter of any grocer- you know, the only essential, healthy food. my guess is this was built in the 70s, which is the distinct impression you get upon pulling up to storefront. Maybe it used to be a different big box retailer? Their selection of product is always MUCH less than other locations, such limited choices. the employees are all either 80 or.. leave a lot to be desired..I'll put it that way. Also, be prepared to stand in a line to show your receipt to the greeter employee, having to prove your purchases as though you're some kind of theif- this is actually a violation of personal rights, but they continue to do this anyway-even though no other retailer (nor even most other Walmart locations for that matter!) do such a thing. I'll go 14 miles out of my way to go to a REAL Walmart- it's worth it. read more

We attempted to return unopened Christmas lights with a receipt within the timeframe given upon their purchase. They had posted black and white paper signs in the customer service area which stated that they weren't accepting Christmas returns after December 25th and refused to take the lights back. The manager kept pointing to the sign saying, "It's posted right there!" That doesn't do a lot of good when it wasn't posted anywhere BEFORE we purchased them.
