They refused to sell me a new pair of frames. Apparently, they wouldn't make enough money off of the frames only.

I switched eye doctors in 2020 and was a patient at North Park for two years. The complaints about…read moretheir wait times are true. Your appointment could be at 9 am, but you won't see your Doctor for another 90 minutes. Their glasses shop has a nice selection, but they don't really help you find a pair that fits your face. I bought a pair of glasses there my first year and they were a bit big for my face, and I had to bring them back because they kept sliding off my nose. What prompted me to return to my old Doctor though was their billing. They sub their billing out to a company called Patient Bill Help. In October, I received a text from Patient Bill Help stating I owed $63.75, which I paid online. Two days later I realized I should not have owned anything, and I have been trying to get this resolved for three months. The individual(s) that handles the billing at North Park make assumptions on eye insurance. I had a few conversations with someone local in that office where they argued with me on what my insurance covered, this is even after my insurance company explained to them that I was 100% covered for both eye and contact lenses. The conversations were, literally, "eye insurance doesn't cover both contacts and glasses" and me informing them that yes, mine does, all they have to do is scroll down their screen to see (this has been confirmed multiple times by VSP representatives. The office never scrolled further down my EOB to see I was covered for both). I am now at the point I told Patient Bill Help and my eye insurance that I would suck up my lost of $63.75 as a lesson learned. If you don't mind long waits, get you glasses elsewhere, and have "standard" or no eye insurance, this place might work out for you. If you have premium eye insurance, or are use to getting retinal scans each year (I was never offered them at North Park) I recommend going elsewhere.

I stopped in on a whim and I'm so glad I did! I have a pair of designer sunglasses with seriously…read morescratched lenses. I had ordered replacement lenses online and was planning to pop them out myself...but when they arrived I was really struggling to get the old lenses out. I had asked a store in the mall once, and they would not do it. Knowing I was likely to break them myself if I continued to try, I stopped in to Eyetique to see if they would swap the lenses for me. The woman working in the store (Susan) was super helpful. She had the old lenses out and the new lenses ready to go in seconds. She even provided a replacement case from the brand since mine had long ago fallen apart. Five minutes fixed something I've been avoiding for months!

If I could give them a ZERO I would! Let me start by saying I was late for my appointment. I went to Waze and typed in eyetique the directions that pulled up were for the one off of the Warrendale exit. I didn't think anything of that. I got there early at 8:55 am and was told that I had the wrong location. The lady that greeted me was very nice. She told me where the actual Wexford location was and called to let them know I was on my way. When I got there the gentleman that helped me was very nice. I apologized for being late and making such a stupid mistake by going to the wrong location. He said no worries you're good. He proceeds to get the tablet ready for me when another employee walks in and also another customer. The gentleman helping me told the customer he would be right with them. Then out of NOWHERE comes Heather Snyder and screams SHE WAS 20 MINUTES LATE FOR HER APPOINTMENT WE ARE SEEING THE 9:30 APPOINTMENT FIRST. I said I don't care I would wait then I thought about why she was yelling. I would expect them only to take me after their scheduled appointment because I was late no matter the reason. She is very unprofessional and there is a way to talk to people. At that point, I got up and left my money spends elsewhere. She needs to learn how to talk to people. After her yelling there was no way I would let her check my eyes! Eyetique McKnight Road's location was my favorite. And again the gentleman who helped me was super duper professional.

Pine Center is a strip mall. Current tenants include healthcare businesses (e.g., pediatrics,…read moredermatology, weight loss, eyecare, outpatient rehab, and healthcare training), personal care (e.g., salons, skincare, and nails), financial businesses (e.g., insurance, lender, and realtors), home improvement companies (e.g., windows and kitchens), and other miscellaneous businesses (e.g., math tutoring). I have visited this mall at least a few times. Every couple of years, I renew my CPR/AED training at the tenant Start the Heart. I notice that many of the storefronts, particularly those in the back, are vacant and have no tenants, but the buildings look to be in good condition. The parking lot appears to be appropriately sized for the types of businesses and their numbers of customers, and I have always found a parking space during my visits. This mall is located on Perry Highway, so it has easy access and many potential customers passing by.
