I ordered them on 4/24 with an expected date of 5/7. Not hearing from them, I called on 5/8 for a status on my order and was told I could come in anytime; they were at the store. Shame the customer needs to call to find out if their order has arrived. I went in on same day to pick them up, one pair fits nice, other pair looks crooked on me. I am told there is nothing they can do about it, that my eyebrows are crooked! Did not offer in any way to help resolve the issue. Over 55 years of wearing glasses , this is the first time I have received a pair of glasses that did not fit right and could not be adjusted. I did not raise my voice. but feel future customers should just be aware of my experience at this store and location. I will get some tape or something to raise one side up to make them look straight ... like every pair I have ever purchased in my 55 years of wearing glasses. If they read this review and try to help me, I will politely decline since they already told me there was nothing they could do to fix them even though they are new and I was very dissatisfied. I thought THAT was excellent customer service and thanked them! When I came into the store, the young woman who greeted me was so friendly (Caitlyn)! I told her what I was looking for in the way of frames and what my favorite color was, and she told me she'd pull some frames for me while I had my eye exam. She was a HUGE help! Usually, it takes me so long to find a frame that I like, and when I came out of the eye exam, she had about 20 frames for me to try out! I loved that and was able to narrow it down to my top 3 choices, and with her help, I found the one pair that I loved! I picked up my glasses a couple of weeks later and had a minor issue with the reading level on my progressives, so I've been back a couple of times, and they've been so helpful and so friendly. It's a bit of a drive for me to go there, but so worth it! Not only are they the only ones who understand my husband's insurance plan, but they make everything so easy and have such a great staff!

Unhappy I said what do I have to lose given BJ's a try. I have been so happy about the whole experience here at BJ's. I have dealt with Babs, Lenard, I can't quite remember the name of the optometrist but all three have been a pleasure to do business with. I do have progressive lenses so I am always prepared for the bottom line and honestly I very pleased with that part as well. Glasses came in earlier fitted and one my way. Returned with minor adjustments and taken care of and again on my way. Couldn't be more pleased and would recommend. I see yelps from years ago and what I read is not my experience at all feel 5 stars a must across all brackets here. Will be returning in the future as well other family to use BJ's Optical.

I needed a quick turn around and had checked with other vision places but the one I normally go to didn't have an eye doc on site and I couldn't find anyone who could see me on such short notice at several other places I called. I called Cohen's and this really nice guy (I forget his name, but we had the same birthday - May 17 ha ha) was so professional and nice I was almost in shock - most people in retail these days are rude and really couldn't care less about solving your problems! He was able to get me in, and an awesome staff member whose name I have now forgotten but she was so thorough and attentive and really really nice and THOROUGH. Then they zoomed in an eye doctor who went over everything with me. They were able to put lenses in a pair of glasses I already had (I had planned to use them for the computer after Lasik but never ended up getting Lasik) and turned them around the same day. I don't think I have ever had such a great, seamless, upbeat, communicative staff waiting on me in my life! They really genuinely care and want you to have a good experience. These were smart people and ridiculously nice. So here's my review, about three months late, but I hope they see it. Also I should add that Cohen's has some really beautiful frames - like I said I brought my own this time, but I'll definitely return to Cohen's when I need a new pair (and another eye exam). The best and quickest eye appointment ever!…read more I've been wearing glasses/contacts since forever and I've had different eye doctors from moving around. It's hard sometimes for them to get you the "right" prescription and even for them to just be "normal". Well. Let me tell you about my experience at the vision center. I desperately needed new contacts and new glasses since my prescription changed and it had been 2 years since I last saw the eye doctor. I tried to push it off after covid was over but I was unable to. I needed to be seen! Booking with Walmart had me a little skeptical at first especially with all going on. I decided to still give it a try and booked an appointment 2 weeks out. Upon arriving , everything's closed off and only by appointment. They immediately do a temperature check and then let you in. Only one person per household. Everything gets disinfected and everyone's wearing masks. They make you fill out a covid survey to see if you or anyone around you has had covid. After all the sanitary checks, they quickly take you to get your eyes measured in the little machine. Moments later Dr Carpenter was already seeing me. I ABSOLUTELY loved her. She was so down to earth and real. Had short conversation but cool enough to not make it awkward. The Dr had me in and out in less than 15 minutes and absolutely nailed my new eye prescription! Seriously loved this vision center, the staff and Dr Carpenter. I hope they keep their customer service and sanitizing going post covid.
