Had our exams next door- Dr.Long- very nice and professional- Loved the free extra pair of glasses! Went with my go to Ray Ban sunglasses (for fishing).. and all around outside .. Staff was very helpful and customer focused.. Prices are a lot less than going with a regular optometrist..

I brought my doctor shy husband here and he appreciated it. However things have changed. The office staff doesn't return phone calls. They won't let you order a different brand contacts if preferred even though other shops have done it no problem in the past for 20 years. Even my coworkers were confused as to why it would be a problem. This location told me I'd have to call the other location in order to visit the doctor ALL OVER AGAIN to be "fitted". I can't do that easily due to my dependents. The automated phone system is absolutely abysmal if you're unable to speak clearly. There's no physical button to request a human. So good luck if you're sick or have a throat module.

I called on Friday to explain my situation and asked if there was a cancellation list, which there was and the receptionist happened to have an available eye exam appointment for today. Because I have not been to this location before, I decided to arrive 15 minutes early in case I needed to fill out paperwork. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and checked in for my appointment and filled out necessary paperwork. They were very prompt and called me back even a couple minutes prior to my scheduled time. The optician assistant was super nice and performed her job with great care and explained everything she was doing, i.e.: air puff and eye measurements. Dr. Moerdick was a pleasure meeting and was able to pull up my last visit from the other location. He has a really positive attitude and very thorough with questions regarding my eye care, history, concerns, etc. The actual eye exam itself was great and done with care and he explained everything he was doing, including the dilation process. Overall, I was really pleased with how smooth the entire process went from setting up the appointment to the eye exam itself.

I was very polite yesterday and stated that I have found a new practice to be seen at. Today, 10/4 I got ANOTHER phone call about a future appointment I had, that needed to be adjusted. The folks in the office need better training to READ THE NOTES. I called and, I'll be honest, I rudely asked to be obliterated from the system. This practice doesn't have either the man-power or the training to make sure things run smoothly. My first review I wrote was frustrated.... Now, I'm just mad. The lack of awareness is astounding. A week before my appointment, I realized I had overbooked myself with another Dr appointment and needed to reschedule. I called the office and the woman at the front desk argued with me stating I had already rescheduled this and she needed to know why I was doing so again. I explained I had not rescheduled, this was my first time calling the office but she did not believe me. I'm not sure why she was so argumentative or why this mattered. I ended up cancelling the appointment as this is no way to treat a new patient. There are plenty of other optometrists in the area that will have better customer service.
