I actually stumbled upon this shop unintentionally wanting to get serviced right next door (imagine the embarassment on my face when I asked to use the yelp coupon they offered). But boy, am I glad I went here instead. It was a Tuesday, around 4pm - no appointment needed. I had several old cars that needed smogged, so basically I check in at this place once a year and I had been coming here for years. Now, it is under new ownership and management. I was sad to find out the previous owner had a heart attack and is no longer with us, RIP... he was a good guy, hard worker, quiet, yet friendly. Basel, the person that now runs the place, was a friend of the old owner. He was asked by the old owner's family to take over, and he stepped up. I met Basel early Saturday morning and we chatted a bit since there were no other customers at the time. Besides knowing about the previous owner's passing, he also taught me a few things about smog check and catalytic converters. Basel seemed very knowledgeable and capable. I am glad to see the future of this place is in good hands. Basel even remodeled the place and it looked pristine! Make sure you park In the back as it is a drive thru style smog check. Such great efficiency. There were several cars when I arrived. Took my paperwork to the office, and the service technician immediately took my paperwork and keys and placed them in a folder on the desk. Each vehicle had a separate folder and each vehicle was handled in the order of arrival. Technician was only employee doing paperwork and testing. I was so amazed and impressed by his quick and efficient manner. I was there a little over 35 minutes. He handled about 6 cars in that time.
