As someone in-between dental insurance, paying less than $50 (with an extra discount) for a full cleaning, x-rays, and full exam was seriously awesome. I walked in about ten minutes prior to my appointment, handed over the forms I printed in advance from their website, and had a seat. HGTV was on the flat screen, but I didn't watch much because they almost immediately called me back. Bottles of water are in the waiting area as well. My hygienist Emily was super super sweet and cheerful. She made me feel right at home and even asked what I wanted to watch on tv...because, yes, they have tvs at every patient station!! It's set up with subtitles so it's basically right in your face during the cleaning. Such a cool distraction! I watched the Today show. X-rays were easy too. They did both the biters and the pano as part of the Groupon. Didn't take long at all...and painless! The cleaning was thorough and she even checked for gum inflammation. I never experienced that before. But it was good to know that both my teeth and my gums were in perfect condition! Dr. Murry popped in last to do the exam. She was also detail oriented and easy to talk to. Overall this visit was totally fantastic (and free of pain)....and if I'm still living in the area in April, I can assure you I will be back!

So when I showed up today as it was on my calendar I was informed that I didn't have an appt. Took time to rearrange my day for this appointment. Walked out seething . Called asked for office manager who did call me back who tried to explain and twist it like I canceled my appointment... didn't feel like I was given a true apology. This wasn't my 1st time with appointment issues. I suppose when your business is so large and have numerous locations and long waits for appointments that quality of customer service goes down the drain. Customer loyalty too isn't important either. Well I won't be recommending you anymore in the future if anyone asks me for a dental group. You can say what you want but trying to be a spin doctor and lay blame on the customer when your staff assumes to cancel future standing appointments without asking and confirming is INEXCUSABLE!!!

I had to go back with days as the bite was painful even with drinking water. I am no dentist and can not self treat. I had to go back 2 second time with a week and the dentist waving his hands in the air simply said, he can't do anything!!! When I voice my frustration. He refused me any further treatment and said I could go see a different dentist. I followed a medical practitioner's advise to preventive care and am now left with pain and suffering, neither of which I had, had gone to his office for a free dental cleaning. Today, he replaced a crown that had come off, and his work prompted me to write this review. He first had to reshape the tooth structure under the crown and prepare the tooth and then re-cement the crown. There was no discomfort and everything was fully explained. The crown feels great. My situation was this: I am a business owner and travel more at certain times, I have conveyed this for years as a patient/client relationship kind of deal: wife and kids visit this office, oh and also in-laws (they have recommended me to this office) so has been maybe even 20 years of family going to this office I would think, back to the issue: I go to an appointment and while sitting there was told hey, can we reschedule you for another date, I am a make lemonade out of lemons kind of person, so ok no problem, now have I missed some appointments due to travel time, yes, but would pay the $50 on top of co-pays. While Airr BB'ing in their neighborhood a year or so ago I came across the JK DDS office in a lovely house converted to dentist office on the corner and needed a 'clean and check' so thought why not give them a try. Fast forward to yesterday I had a small pain, (popcorn kernel emergency : ) I wanted them to look at and they immediately worked me in first thing in the morning and quickly took care of the issue. I'd like to give them a proverbial 'shout out' for a friendly warm genuinely kind and compassionate staff ~ from the front desk to the hygienist to the Dr to check out ~ this is a First class operation. 2 thumbs up 5 stars! If you're ISO of a lovely comfortable place to take care of your family dental needs this is it. Scott
