I love maintaining my own lawn and garden but after moving to a house with a larger property, having two kids and taking a demanding job I couldn't find the time to get things done. Lucky for me I found Walter, who has been invaluable! We have used walter for the following: 1) overseeding lawn and weed treatment 2) installing sod 3) laying mulch 4) removing small trees and stumps from trees the previous owner or I removed ourselves (digs a hole and sawed below ground level) 5) edging (gorgeous work, laid a layer of sand/pebble for drainage, laid brick and mortared them together to keep in place) 6) trimming large hedges and Perennial plants (so they still bloom in spring) I plan to use him again next season to put in some new trees, plants and continued maintenance! So glad I hired Walter to remove all the invasive vines that had been choking the left side of my house, retaining wall, and fence. His price was reasonable, better than other estimates I got. Walter and his worker did a fantastic job. They removed the jungle of vines very quickly and efficiently; cleaned up all the debris afterwards plus cut the top off an overgrown pine tree. We hired them to strip out our lawns and put in new sods. They did an excellent job, but they were not trustworthy. Be sure to check their math and add up all the measurements yourself because he was trying to overcharge by $2000! On top of that, they charged us for unused sods, which is understandable, but then they threw all the unused sods away in their truck! We would have found a usage for them or given them to neighbors. read more

They scheduled and actually showed up on time to do the work. Walter is amazing. We recently Moved to a house with an acre yard which needs a lot of work. Walter is extremely knowledgeable, very responsive and above all incredibly hard working. Not to mention, his prices are very reasonable. He is the only landscaper I could find who was willing to remove poison ivy without using toxic chemicals. He has removed a lot of thick weeds, English ivy and brush from the property, planted several native plants, trimmed our very large hemlocks by hand, leveled our lawn and reseeded, mulched and the list goes on. He also does weekly lawn mowing Every time he comes, he gets right to work and remembers everything we discussed and agreed upon. The finished product is always amazing quality.
