Chris showed patience and creativity on the day of the drill; he was articulate and maintained a good attitude with no smoking or cursing. There was no trash left behind from the drill day. Because I wasn't able to stay for the whole drilling process, I appreciated that he called with updates--that level of reassuring communication builds trust and is really valuable to us. I didn't get to meet the team that installed the pump afterwards and they didn't call us, but we're happy overall with the outcome so far.

Mark showed up on time and was very thorough in walking my property and going over options. The other contractor stood me up two times! Keep in mind, I drive 3 hours to meet people. Once we got the permit in hand, I scheduled the drilling with Chris. He was up front and told me the lead time, which ended up being less then two weeks. On the day of the installation, Mark and Chris showed up exactly when they said' they be there! The were both very down to earth and professional while walking the property and analyzing how to setup their rigs. During the installation, I talked to Chris and Mark and explained to them that I never got to watch a well being drilled. The guys were very accommodating, they stopped work and would explain to me what they were doing, the challenges, etc. Mark even took time to explain when he uses certain supplies and how the other contractors will use cheaper supplies to pad their profits. At the end of the day, the guys knocked this 180' well installation out of the park! It couldn't have went any better and I couldn't have had two nicer guys. If you want down to earth, hard working and honest contractors with integrity, then call B.W. Smith and tell them I set you!

I hired them to dig a water well on my…read moreproperty in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, and it was a complete failure - to the tune of nearly $11,000. They claim to be experienced well drillers, but I saw no evidence of that in their failed attempt to provide a viable well. They never seemed to have a good handle on the conditions they encountered while drilling, and ran up my costs far beyond their worst case estimate. In the end, I was left with an expensive, useless hole in the ground. Nothing worse than paying for failure.

I was lucky when I called Myers Well Service, because Darren was walking in the door as I called. He worked me into his schedule between jobs the next day and fixed our well pump that had wires wearing and didn't just force me to buy a new pump. He honestly did the necessary work to get the farm up and going with water. He was under his quoted estimate. When the work was done he called me with all the details, making some future PM suggestions and took a credit card over the phone. I will definitely use Darren again and I highly recommend him to anyone that needs well service work done.
