We got my engagement ring and we are getting my wedding band from here as well. Since I am giving my fiancé my late father's wedding band, we won't be getting a band for him here, but will get the band sized from Walton's. It is a solid place with estate jewelry and new pieces. I love estate jewelry, and we got me a ring from the early part of the 20th century that I am absolutely in love with and very much suits my style! My fiancé and I picked it out together and my fiancé proposed 3 months later. We have had nothing but wonderful customer service experiences here. I think that what I liked a lot is that it is largely a women heavy business. It is a change from what I have seen in other jewelry stores. They are taking covid seriously and they do mask up. Customers are not required, but I do when I go in and it is encouraging that their staff do the same. It is on the main drag in downtown Franklin. Parking is easily accessible and you can't miss. Shout out to Walton's Antiques and Estate Jewelry in Franklin. When I was 13, my mother gave me an Amethyst ring. It was an heirloom piece. Somehow, I lost the tiny stone one day at school. I was heartbroken. My sweet mom was so understanding...she told me not to worry and to keep the setting and one day we'd replace the stone with my birthstone. Well here I am 50 years later, still holding onto the setting. Last week, I took the ring to Walton's and decided to replace the stone with a Garnet. I can't believe what an amazing job they did. My husband and I used Walton's for our wedding bands - we had a destination wedding in Franklin, TN and it was important to us to use local vendors. We scheduled an appointment (they are very responsive via email!) and were so pleasantly surprised that Julie - the owner of the store - ran our appointment. She had several bands displayed and ready for us that matched pictures we had sent. When my husband couldn't find the exact one he pictured? She got online to find exactly what he wanted and ordered it for him. Professionalism, great customer service, beautiful pieces. It's all there at Walton's. When we came in for pick up (band's arrived in plenty of time!) husband's ring was one size too tight. The immediately resized it and had it ready next day. Finally - as if I haven't gushed enough - the store was closed during NYE and we had failed to pick up the ring. I had some old jewelry that I was looking to sell and after getting quotes from a couple of local places in Murfreesboro, decided to swing by Walton's one day while in Franklin. I had seen their advertisements on TV and knew they dealt in estate jewelry, but also would buy other items for both stones and scrap. The shop is located right on the main drag in Franklin, so parking will involve a walk. That's a good thing since you get to discover lots of other neat little shops on the way. I've been in a couple of times since my first visit and no matter whether it has been one of his employees or Mr. Walton himself, the experience has always been wonderful! The folks are very professional and explain exactly what's going on. Everything is above board and all of the weighing and calculations are done in front of you. My fiance and I went to Walton's to get my engagement ring cleaned. We've never been there before and we didn't even get my ring there. I have a 1920's engagement ring, so I knew I wanted to go somewhere that specialized in antiques and since we got my ring in San Francisco we couldn't very well go back there just for a cleaning. When we arrived everyone was very nice and constantly complimenting my ring (which I know made my fiance proud!). They really took the time to clean it thoroughly and checked the setting to make sure the prongs weren't loose. While we waited (which was only 5 minutes!) we checked out the jewelry and other antique items they had. They have an amazing selection! I have shopped here three times - Main Street Festival, Pumpkinfest and Dickens. The store is small and cramped. It is a family owned store that has a nice selection of jewelry but it is overpriced and not of the quality I expect for the price. I asked them to customize a piece for me and they gave me a card for someone else. The other reviews gave the staff praise for their attentiveness and thoughtfulness but Julie did not show those traits at all to me. When I asked about a particular stone, she did not even know what I was talking about and dismissed me. This review is for selling to Walton's not buying from them. I was selling 55lb plus of silver junk coins and several gold coins. I was offered a price by another jeweler in the vicinity, but saw an ad on Walton's top dollar for gold/silver. Walton's offer was way under market buying price and from what I received from the other jewelry store "10k deference". After researching on line on of values of gold and silver the "other" jeweler was able to make a very hefty profit and offer fair market price while Walton's was clearly trying to take advantage of me. Maybe a great place to buy from but I won't be bringing my gold etc to them again. I will have to say the staff was friendly but parking is a nightmare. read more

I went in because I wanted to get my mother's eternity ring put on a necklace. Her fingers were much smaller than mine and it was just sitting in a drawer. I had been to two other places in town, Jared's and Platinum Jewelers. Jared's wanted $300!!! Plantinum Jewelers offered me a reasonable price but never called me back to say that they had a chain.
