Called to have a clutch job done, all I needed was everything put back together, and the guy on the phone was very nasty and told me "you took it apart, do it yourself" likely because he wanted to take it apart himself=more money for him. Hung up on me after I made a calm inquiry. Very condescending, clearly not in the business of customer service. Would not do business with them. read more

This transmission place is a complete scam..they charged me for a new rebuilt transmission to later find out all he did was try and fix the one that was in there. He tells me that my transmission was treated bad and that it was completely destroyed which I know isn't true because it is an SUV not a mustang where I might be racing it and burning the clutch and messing up the tranny..if that even was true why would you try and rebuild it in the first place?? Once again after bringing it back a few times I found that out after being told I was being charged for a brand new rebuilt transmission and bringing it back 4 times. I'm being told I will have it back tomorrow and after speaking to my lawyer who recommended I sue him for the money back but he also mentioned what if I was in a accident because of his poor lack of judgment and I wasn't able to avoid a car because my truck wasn't able to move out of the way, which actually was the case but luckily my truck slipped into gear and was able to avoid traffic at the last second. I don't recommend that company to anyone unless you enjoy being ripped off. Let's see what tomorrow brings and believe me if the transmission isn't a brand new rebuilt one that I was told I was paying for then I will be getting a attorney involved and a suit will be brought to them for my money back as well as any other things my attorney could help with..luckily I wasn't in that close encounter where I may have been injured as well as the other drivers involved..stay tuned and stay far away read more

Brought my car to him because of a tranny leak and the S.O.B. tried ripping me off for a new tranny for 1,500.00. I picked it up and brought it to Dial Transmission in Bellmore and they put it up on the lift and 335.00 later my car was fixed and running like a champ with no leaks. Shame on WTC for being thieves. STAY AWAY I bought my truck here about a year and a half ago my transmission was leaking he advised me to just rebuild my transmission because he had to take it out anyway to fix the leak and this way I wouldn't have any future problems. well that was a lie about 2 months ago my transmission was slipping so I bought it back to him he looked at it and said water from my raditor was going into my transmission he said he changed the fluids and everything will be fine another lie. my check engine light came on I bought it to a mechanic the code that came up was a transmission slip component I went back to him. he looked yesterday at my truck called me and said my transmission is ruined and it would be 1900 to fix 200 more then what he charged me 1 year and a half ago. he blamed it all on my radiator I was going to have him fix it till my wife says to me if it was the raditor why didn't he just replace it 2 months ago when I had it in there. so I took it somewhere else to have another opinion lee myles I told him what happened he looked at it told me the raditor was fine and that my transmission is burnt . I asked why this happened he said whoever did the rebuild did a poor job. I said to myself something seems fishy so I bought it to aamco and this time I didn't say anything just my engine light was on. he called me a few hours later to come down he asked me if I had work done on my transmission I said yes he laughed and said you should never try to rebuild a transmission by yourself I said I paid someone 1700 to do this he couldn't believe it he thought I did it myself. I then told him the story and I asked about the raditor he said nothing is wrong with it and he showed me all the fluids and they were all good except for the transmission fluid he said it hasn't been changed in years and I believe him because it was black. another lie. I should of noticed every time I went to wantagh transmission he never had more then 2 or 3 cars there that's a bad sign. stay away he's a sorry excuse for a business man. read more
