The theater is small, but not tight, the ceiling are surprisingly high for such a small looking structure from the outside. The had a small refreshment stand inside, with a very friendly attendant and terrible coffee. If there was some wine offered, I would most definitely make this review a 5 star one. The parking situation was probably the most disappointing, on the website and in person they are very shady about where you can park. The theater itself does not have parking, and you are allowed to park in a no parking zone...supposedly. We were fortunate enough to come outside and no ticket or broken windows (large signs in theater warn you about leaving valuables in your car). Overall, I think I will run the risk of parking violation to enjoy the theater events again. I can't wait to come see an actual play, considering the audience gets to sit so close to the stage. Ticket prices were very reasonable, yet sadly most locals still do not attend. Can't wait until their next event!

Joe Doyle's curtain speech is a performance in itself. The physical aspects of the theater are completely unprepossessing, from the cramped lobby to the intimate house (which seats approximately 90), but what they do in that space is amazing. This season started by wowing us with an adaptation Oscar Wilde's "An Ideal Husband" by MaryAlice Rubens-Topeleski. Some favorites from past seasons include (in no particular order, "Equivocation" by Bill Caine, "The Last Days of Judas Iscariot" by Stephen Adly Guirgis, "Is He Dead Yet?" by Mark Twain, "It Can't Happen Here" (based on the novel by Sinclair Lewis) by Tony Taccone and Bennett Cohen, "Leading Ladies" by Ken Ludwig, "Underneath the Lintel" by Glen Berger, Shakespeare's "Merchant of Venice," and "A Man for All Seasons" by Robert Bolt. Tickets are very reasonably priced and you will not be disappointed if you go.

F and I went to our first show here in May after living in Trenton for 16 years. Shame on us! We didn't know what we were missing! After, we interviewed the Artistic Director, C. Ryanne Domingues for our podcast Trentonwaves.com, we immediately purchased tickets for the current show Morir Sonyando. The plays mounted in this theater are relevant to situations and events that impact the citizens of our City. The play was fantastic! A 3 person drama that was well acted, staged and directed. We can't wait for the upcoming season to see what's in store.

We have been coming here almost every February see the Oscar Nominated shorts for years (both live…read moreaction and animated) They are always friendly and welcoming and the films are presented nicely. A volunteer always gives a good presentation speech. Also depending on the year they offer free coffee and cookies (they did this year). We are planning to come to the Trenton film festival which takes place soon. But you need to plan ahead in terms of snacks / tickets / restroom breaks. Some negatives: - Offer some sandwiches or something somewhat healthy for sale during intermission. In years past they had vendors but I guess these vendors don't want to sell there. - In the past I did "will call" for the tickets but they seem to get confused when you do that. So it is safest to bring your tickets printed out but they should accept more modern methods. - The ladies room is in disrepair. In the ladies room the stall door / wall literally started separating from the floor. So only one usable stall in the ladies room! This could be a safety issue as well. I told a staff member and she said she will tell the manager. I think the negatives are a result of budget issues but as other theaters are showing these types of films and there is more completion they will need to show some improvement.

Being introverts we were hesitant at first. Our first impression after we signed up was a phone call with the founder of Unscripted Productions, Will. He has great energy and just knew we made the right move after a five minute phone call. The class made us get out of our comfort zone, be silly, take on different personas, make lifelong friends and built trust all while being in a safe environment. We looked forward to our classes as play time and always left feeling energized. We loved it so much that we are looking forward to taking Improv 2.

Will Dennis and his three companions were a high energy team involving the audience in their skits and even calling them up to the stage to join in the spontaneous merriment. Give them three unusual objects, moments in history or dialogue from Neil Simon plays, and they return with an hilarious sketch called out if their interactive imagination. It was all great! Although the evening began as a fundraiser for local candidates a week before the election, it quickly became an exercise in team building and support for the final get out the vote push, while it also showed another side of all of us who were ready for some fun after so many month of all too serious campaigning. Didn't know how funny those guys were! So, we raised some money, ate some good food provided by local restaurants and delis, and enjoyed an unexpectedly wonderful evening. I've Been dancing here 11 years and love every class I've ever taken. I highly recommend jazz and lyrical because they are just so different yet they still easy to grasp for beginners to pros alike. Theater jazz and acro are quit adventurous as they always hold a theme as does Ballet last year theater jazz was grease and ballet was wizard of Oz.

Kids and families could sign up to perform - a great opportunity for the kids and a true delight for the rest of us. The two ladies who were running the show were friendly, professional and encouraging - just the right kind of community theater vibe. Can't wait to find out what else they've got going on!
