Warby and I have always been in alignment for the past 10 yrs when they were smaller store with fewer locations. Of late, things have shifted. I arrived at the store, checked in and then was met by a really annoying staff member. She first fussed with me over what I was having done when my email confirmed an eye exam for glasses. Then she wanted to know why I was getting the AI service. Idk, perhaps because regular eye exams have been serving just fine and perhaps I don't feel like being taken advantage of for an extra $40-$50 . I did the exam and the optometrist was really sweet. She was even ok with my new rescue chilling in the room ( and her nails were ). She confirmed that my vision hadn't changed yet there was a heavy recommendation for me to get transitional. I was all the way confused since that's not my current prescription and again, NOTHING changed with my vision. The difference between regular glasses and the recommendation was $350. Talk about a rip off. I am all for businesses making money but it's clear that the patient/ clients are no longer being considered. They look at the benefits, see what you have and concoct a plan to scape it clean. I placed the order for the glasses on 8/19 with 5-10 business day arrival and so far nothing but a series of confusing emails with the wrong name/ order and other emails trying to clear it. Expansion is fine if we stick to the moral codes of operations. Do better Warby! read more

I've been coming to Warby Parker for over a decade, and this location has been my home base for 5 of those years. The biggest difference about this location of the many I've been to, this one always has the best staff. Everyone here doesn't try to oversell, know so much about their products (past and present), are extremely helpful, and really take the time to understand your wants and needs. I've even been coming here for eye exams for a number of years, and the optometrists are so patient, really understanding, and reasonably priced. The technicians are so great with adjustments and cleaning. I know it's a silly perk, but bring in any frame of theirs and they do a tune up - no issues. I came here to get a couple of frames adjusted. The store is bright and clean. A rainbow of books decorates the tops of the display cases. I love that they offer free adjustments for frames purchased both at Warby Parker and elsewhere. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and added to the service list. I only had to wait about five minutes. The technician who helped me was competent and friendly. He fixed my glasses right in front of me in a matter of minutes. He let me know that even though they don't make my frames any more, they offer a service to replace lenses starting at $65. read more

Long time Warby fan here. In terms of location, this is one of the smaller ones but customer service here is top notch. I like how they greet you, but don't follow you or otherwise try to sell you but are just available as you need them. I've also come a few times for adjustments and I've been happy with the work. I still like doing home try on though - they have a wide array of glasses in store but i always like to get feedback from trusted friends who always can't be with me in store. read more

I love Warby Parker. I think I have seven or eight pairs so far. Their glasses are the highest quality. You can order on-line and use their app to see how they look on you using Augmented Reality or you can go to their shop and try them on. Once the order is placed they arrive in a quick and timely manner. I placed the order a week earlier and they arrived in 7 days. It was easy to find this location in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn. I was able to walk in and get an adjustment on my frames and be out in 10 minutes. I also love the buildings that the free standing shops are in, they are always eye popping. I love my new frames and this team was awesome. read more

Amazing experience! I've been a WP gal for seven years and I've been dying for a new pair but my schedule only allow me to shop just before closing. So I always prepare for end of day attitude whenever I shop somewhere 20 min before closing. With that said, I have to give a shout out to the person who helped me: Alex (tall, pink hair, cute flower nails). Not only did they listen to my needs and what I was looking for, but also showed me various styles, gave me space and didn't rush me. They even demo'd the blue light lens (which I was skeptical over at first but ended up getting) and they clearly explained return/repair policy and new adjustment policy for vaxxed customers. 11/10 experience, bought the new pair and it was a smooth and easy experience. Will absolutely be going back to this location just to ask for this person next time I want a new pair! read more

He immediately took me to a group of eye wear that I was referring to. He had me try on so many cool glasses. Very attentive and well advised me when he saw my prescription. The service at N6 is excellent I was very impressed with this location. No longer going into Manhattan for glasses. Williamsburg rocks. Can wait yo get my new glasses. Will post when I get them. Stopped by to check out glasses for low nose bridge. Everyone was dismissive and un-welcoming. Looks more like a bunch of kids hanging out in the store, no salesmanship, hospitality, or knowledge of their own product. read more

I went in to have my glasses replaced. This is the second pair that has rusted in me in less than two months. They refuse to replace with a different frame. Instead I was told because of my skins PH the rust is my issue and I'd have to buy a whole new pair. Absolutely absurd. read more

They have a great check in system set up and have instituted some safe, sanitary measures to keep everyone safe and healthy during the pandemic, which was so appreciated. Are you ready for the 411? Here we go...so while in my pre-Mother's Day celebrations I lost my prescription glasses! Yea this was truly a bummer as this was my expensive pair so I was not a happy camper. This resulted in me having to go look for glasses today and my daughter had told me about Warby Parker. I thought let me give it a try and we went to visit the one in Williamsburg. I was very impressed when we walked through the door and it was pretty filled up but not crowded and we were immediately greeted. I started looking for glasses and was periodically checked on by Mark but not in an aggressive or annoying manner. He now only checked on if I was doing ok but also gave me advice on the frames. Also when he heard my lost glasses sad story he then told me if I got the glasses today I would have them in 10 days. I was immediately sold and got my first pair. Although I have progressives which can get costly I was pleased with the final price. Mark's customer service and attentiveness closed the deal for me. I have been a dedicated Warby Parker wearer as are my two children. My husband needed a new pair of glasses so we told him to check out warbys glasses. Between our family of 5 we have bought about 10 pairs of glasses in the last year. My husband went to the Williamsburg location alone and had the sales manager Alex help him. Well....Alex clearly only cared about making a sale because he sold my husband glasses that are Waaaay to small for his face. I have been in florida for a few weeks and I told the sales person there who told me to have my husband come in and he'd do a one time exchange (we didn't even buy them there and he was willing to help out, unfortunately my husband is in ny and cannot come to fl) we went to the brooklyn location to rectify this because he has gone twice since they weren't fitting right and they kept telling him it just needed to adjusted, but that is not the case as they still don't fit properly. When we went back in today Alex, who Sold the glasses and told my husband they fit fine agreed that they didn't fit him but refused to exchange them as it was over the time, if my husband hadn't gone back on multiple occasions before the time period was up I could understand, but he did and they continued to tell him they fit him properly. As a frequent customer I am appalled at this poor customer service and how the brooklyn manager handled his wrongdoings. Will never be shopping their again and will be contacting corporate. read more

I came in for an eye exam and Dr. Ashmeet Sidhu was so kind, professional and informative. The rest of the team in the store were also extremely friendly and helpful. You can get a less expensive eye exam via Groupon but the WP experience is worth the little extra $$ for being smooth, quick, super organized and friendly.
