The technician was here for 45 minutes, replaced a $30.00 part, and the total charge was almost $400.00. I don't think the $150.00 charge was applied to anything. When we asked for breakdown of the final charges they refused to provide it. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this company if you prefer to deal with a company that offers a transparent pricing, are honest, helpful, and willing to explain their bill.

This is specific to the treatment i got from Geek Squad counter in Ankeny. Beyond this i have no…read moreissues. To start off, i upgraded to a new AM5 motherboard, with DDR5 and CPU (reused everything else) and after hours of struggling to get the internet connection to work (google troubleshooting) i ran down my issues to be 1 of 2 things, 1. My ethernet cable needed replaced, or 2. My motherboard didnt come with drivers to run LAN. After asking the Geek Squad worker if he had any ideas he told me he was "pretty sure its a defective motherboard, I've built a lot of computers and never seen that happen" just matter of fact and no looking into it at all. I felt pretty thrown aside by this. Sure enough the drivers needed installed on a thumb drive and installed. Everything is good now.
