Enter Dr. Friedberg the following week who, after some manipulation of my foot, and some questions concluded that I had a fascia tear that would probably take a few months to heal. Man was I glad I went to Dr. Friedberg! My foot did take a few months to heal, but he was nothing but kind, gentle, and professional through the entire process. He offered tips and tricks on how to regain strength and reduce pain, showed me my MRI images, and explained things in very simple and detailed ways. I ended up having to have 3 surgeries (over the better part of a year) in order to put my ankle back into a functioning state. During that time I came to know Dr. Boisvert fairly well. As a surgeon she is top shelf. My ankle was in a lot of pieces and she put them back together perfectly. As a communicator she was also great. Not only communicating with myself, but also with the wound doctor that was also tending to my ankle.
