I love Bass Pro Shop and always like to visit one when I travel…read more All Bass Pro Shops are dog friendly but what surprised me about this particular location was that I saw a little pet waste station that provided plastic bags, disposable gloves. paper towels and disinfectant wipes towards the back of the store. That is a very thoughtful little station and greatly appreciated that for pets that have accidents. But the only thing that would be missing is a trash can nearby. Anyways, I thought this Bass Pro Shop location seemed a little smaller than some of the other locations that I have visited on my travels. But they still have the core items that you would want to purchase at this store that you can find at the other locations. Employees were friendly and the ladies restroom was clean upon my visit. Had a positive shopping experience and would come back if I lived here.

They don't know how much business they just lost by insulting customers. I decided not to buy any gear here. As a spot check, I compared a Camelback that sells here for $150 to online prices. Online it was $90. Again, it is worth supporting local outfitters. In this case, the markups were too high & the service was lacking. I had been in the store for some time without being greeted or offered shopping assistance (came in to look at Hobie catamaran gear & possible gifts for a group of teenagers). The staff took time to discuss flatus, but didn't have time to say hello.

They always completed them quickly and satisfactorily. This week, they removed an existing AR barrel and installed a new one I provided in about an hour while I waited. Good communication happened during this as staff working on this had not previously done this with the particular arrangements (standard mil-spec.) on my AR/barrels. His willingness to listen to me prevented unnecessary and parts damaging steps he originally thought had to be done to complete this task. Took the AR to Jonesboro Shooting Sports Complex today. It functioned flawlessly, zeroed easily and delivered expected accuracy, hitting 10" steel @ 200 with red dot sight.

I even left, and came back with my purchase (almost exchanged it), and the same people who I felt were watching me, literally raced outside the door before I even came in. When I went inside the store, those people came in the store. The store is fine, but I think everyone needs to know that not everyone is trying to or wanting to steal the merchandise.
