I cannot say enough good things here to really explain how excellent this place is for dinner! We had a large group so we worked closely with Drew, the Service Manager, in preparation. We used a Set Menu because it was a celebration and easier on the hosts (us!) than having everyone order from the main menu. Every bite of everything we ordered was delicious! At some point, nearly everyone was tasting everyone else's dinner because it was too good not to share. The service was excellent, too. Very responsive and not hovering. The ambiance was great. Amazing! Impeccable service in a lovely old warehouse right on the Ouachita River. You can sit on the heated and cooled patio while you enjoy drinks and crab cakes, catfish bites, or my favorite fried green tomatoes. Or you can sit inside and listen to live piano music. One of my favorite things are the hot hush puppies that they serve while your food is prepared. I would love to stick a few in my purse, but I don't want to look like one of those crazy women in the movies. Then you can select any entree and be guaranteed a quality dish. My favorite is the Catfish Acadiana - what's not to like about grilled catfish with a cream sauce topped by shrimp. I have never had a bad meal. I want to have two favorites because I think that the crab cakes are amazing! My husband loves the grilled catfish or the steak. If you are celebrating an occasion like a birthday, the staff takes your picture and brings you a free piece of cheesecake. I am usually too full for dessert. Once we got home from dinner and saw emails from our actual reservation (another restaurant in a warehouse) we were stunned. Celebrated wife's birthday here (July 6). The service was incredibly attentive and prompt. We felt very pampered. Everything we ordered was excellent. We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes with the Creole Remoulade sauce. The tomatoes were perfect and the sauce was to die for. We then had the hugest wedge salad. So good! Our ribeye steaks were some of the best we've ever had. The taste was amazing. And the asparagus side was some of the best as well. Desert was cheesecake and crème brûlée. Both were excellent. They also brought a plate of hush puppies, which a little too sweet for my taste. The catfish arrived with 3 shrimp on top, but the cream sauce was bland. Steam brocolli was overcooked almost mush. It was really disappointing. Bugs got all in our food. We were there for a birthday dinner and left with the cake because we were afraid to open it. Paid over $400 for a meal to be ruined.
