I drove by this place several times and always wanted to come try. Finally made it, last Wednesday of every month. Flight of red or white. $20 for restaurant and $30 for white. Food is also available, I asked how much for food? They said free, comes with the Flight. My aunts were amazed. 5 tasting and full glass of your favorite. 2 rooms to hang out, 1 in the front by the bar with plenty of seating and large banquet room with big round tables. I came here for a private event. It's tucked away in a warehouse area in St Louis Park, right behind Methodist hospital. The space is big and there were 3-4 rooms if you wanted to host a large event. The wine was just ok but the atmosphere was cool. read more

Not impressed! I was hosting a bridal shower/bachelorette party and brought 20 friends here. It was somewhat hidden near Sam's Club in St. Louis Park, but had easy street parking. When we all got there we were not really greeted, but rather snubbed by what I later learned was owner. He seemed less than thrilled to be hosting us. We were not a wild and crazy 20 y/o bachelorette party, in fact we were very mild and tame. We first got a tour of the place and learned a bit about wine making. The building is unique and has lots of quirks. Then we had the smallest tastings of really unpleasant wines. When we weren't impressed by the taste of the wines, we decided not to buy any bottles, especially after the odd and almost rude treatment of my party. Then before our time was even over, another party came in and they were given the attention. As we started to feel unwelcome, he seemed to hassel us for not making a purchase. I do not recommend this place. Save your money and leave the city limits to taste some great wine! read more

This place is incredible. Every single one of our guests commented on how cool the place was. It was the perfect venue for our causal and fun wedding reception after our destination wedding. We chose Warehouse Winery as our wedding venue, and we could NOT be happier!!! There are not enough things we can say about Warehouse Winery!!! It was absolutely perfect! They made our special day that much more special! Cost: Warehouse Winery was by far the least expensive venue we found. But don't think that the low price means you will have to sacrifice anything! The decor was incredible! We wanted to have a non-denominational, non-churchy, laid back, and just "fun" ceremony, and WW definitely delivered! Everyone in attendance raved about how "cool" the venue was and how it was a perfect match to our personalities. They all loved it! The venue was just the right size to accommodate our guests (138) without being overcrowded or uncomfortable. The back alley area was the perfect "spillover" location! Catering: We went with Sterling Catering and Green Mill for our food. The food was fantastic! Breanna with WW and Sarah with Sterling were both very helpful with getting our food and alcohol all squared away. They even provided a few gluten free meals for some of our guests. The only "negative" thing I would say about the food is that the schedule to server the head table and the guests got a little messed up. And the head table missed getting cake, but other than those two little things, everything was great! Decor: The decor is one if a kind!! Not even really sure how to describe it! Funky, eclectic, hipster, kitschy, cool, not stuffy, Uptown modern are just a few of the words that would fit! You have to see for yourself, but you will not be disappointed! From the Simpsons pinball machine, to the stuffed buffalo head, to the vintage license plates adorning the walls, it's a site to see!! My wife and I cannot say enough great things about Warehouse Winery and their staff. When we had our wedding vision in mind, we knew we wanted a unique casual feel and the venue exceeded our expectations. So many guests commented on the artwork and other areas of the space. One thing that really stood out was that the day of coordinator ran to the store to by cream because a few guests were looking for it. That action sums up everything we experienced while working with them. They were so helpful from the time we met and the transition between venue coordinators that occurred over the last year was seamless, which lead to everything running so smooth on our wedding day. I had a work event here, and there were a total of about 60 people in attendance. We took up the whole main floor for a lecture dinner series, and overall, everything went great! It has a really cool, hip ambiance and is easy to find. It was well lit, warm, spacious, and unique. It is in the middle of nowhere (e.g., warehouse district by a bunch of buildings), but is literally 1-2 miles from downtown St. Louis Park. Overall, the set up for the lecture series was great, but the banquet food was just 3 star (hard to cook for 50-60 people, in general). That said, loved the bar, local wine choices, and ambiance. You could literally go here 100 times and still find something cool you didn't notice the last time. The place is cool from the moment you find it in a warehouse district part of St. Louis Park. They have cool, eclectic light up sign that spells "Wine" with all different shapes of letters. The decor inside is unbelievable. There is so much detail, so much randomness, yet it also all ties together somehow. It is unique and you can tell that someone put a lot of thought into making warehouse winery what it is. It would be an amazingly unique wedding venue! I have been here two times now-once for a bachelorette party and the second time was this week for their winedown wednesday event. The wine tasting for the bachelorette party was really a great deal-we didn't pay that much, it was pretty self-led (which i am a fan of), we learned a little about the process, got the whole space to ourselves, and then were able to take the leftovers of the bottles of wine home with us. The winedown wednesday event was 15.00/person and included 5 sample tastings, one glass of wine, live music and appetizers. The wine is okay. I know that they probably work really hard at the wine so I struggle to say this, but it almost feels like an afterthought and that the space/venue is the main event. There is one wine that I really enjoy that is made from Minnesota only grapes and had a very unique taste. I enjoyed it. I think that the owner is very smart and knowledgeable, as were all of the people that I encountered that worked there. Each time I have visited there has never really been a warm or welcome feeling coming from the staff at Warehouse Winery, which is where I think there could be some improvements. I read some similar other reviews along that track as well, however, I would for sure still recommend checking it out. It really is an incredible space and a different experience. read more

We ended up here-an hr away from home-on a certificate from our local radio station and it was worth the drive!! The staff was amazing: so friendly and fun and attentive. Amy, the manager is as sweet as can be. There was even Brad, the roaming comedian magician who was awesome. And the one man band was great too. Atmosphere is wonderful because being in an old warehouse car repair shop there is tons of wall space and ceiling space for everything décor wise you can imagine to look at. There are round table, couches, upholstered chairs, bar tables. We came for wine Wednesday, which was actually Tues this month but they broadcasted it well. You pay a fee to come in to the winery and taste wines, have light appetizers and be entertained. somewhere to hang together to relax, have fun and step away from life for awhile. I'm in my 50s, my cousin is mid 60s and my mom is 80 and we all loved it. We will be back for sure. Have January Weds on the calendar. They do lots of weddings and corporate events and I can see why. This is such a fun venue! I planned a corporate organization meeting here and I was so impressed with Breanna and her wonderful communication throughout the planning stages. She is such a nice person and very organized and that made the planning easier and the meeting so successful. The meeting room setup and lighting was perfect. The room had great sound and the ambiance was so fun! We used Deco Catering and the catering staff was very pleasant and helpful, and the food was delicious along with the presentation of the food on the counter. We requested to have the bar open earlier than planned and the staff was on it immediately. Very flexible! The variety of wines were delicious and a big hit too. Many people commented on the wonderful atmosphere and even mentioned they would like to look into planning an event there. I will definitely hold another event here soon. Thank you! read more

I had a wine tasting and there were quite a few problems: 1. They completely lost our reservation which was made over the phone and confirmed in an email. 2. They decided they could still hold to the reservation but then had to change it at the last minute because of a "surgery" 3. They disclosed credit card information between members in our tasting. 4. They seemed very disorganized. Perks: 1. The staff was friendly. 2. The wine was good--frontenac was fantastic :) 3. The tour was interesting and fun. The fear of my credit card info being disclosed to people and my reservations not being upheld will keep me from ever going here again. read more

The space is amazing: eclectic (steel panels on the walls and woven rugs hung from the ceiling), funky (bison and elephant skulls as decor and home-made industrial bars on wheels for your wine and nibbles) and far from cookie-cutter, yet warm, inviting and broken-in without being shabby. We visited the Warehouse Winery for a Bachelorette party. We had 25 women attend the event. The Maid of Honor who hosted the event was promised a tasting of 5 wines along with the catered food. The two men working seem inconvenience to be serving the party and was no where to be found during most of the event. The Maid of Honor even asked one of the men working to explain more about the wine we were drinking. His response, "I don't really know much about wine. I only drink beer." After over an hour we had only tasted 2 different wines. When we approached the man serving the party he said that we had finished our bottles. Unfortunately, we had to argue with him that we were told $30 a person for 5 wine tastings. After having a conversation with him, he said he would give us a couple more bottles. He set them on the counter and we had to serve ourselves and in dirty glasses. He even confronted us and asked us when we would be done!!! The Warehouse was beautiful and a perfect venue for an upscale get together but the service Wine/Catering is overpriced and HORRIBLE! I would not recommend anyone book a party here. read more

We had our wedding reception at the winery. The Warehouse Winery is a unique, eclectic, and overall amazing space. If you want something different with an artsy edge, this is it. Their wine is also very good and they have a lot of nice varieties. While we loved the space and the wine, the event coordinator, Youa, was very difficult to work with. She was not timely in returning emails, often changed plans and prices from what we had previously discussed, did not seem to understand how to create an itemized statement for billing, continuously messed up our floor plan to the point we ended up having to create it ourselves and email it to her, and the list could go on. There were many times I considered cancelling our event because of our event coordinator. In the end, our reception was lovely, but it was a painful process to get there. While I highly recommend the winery itself, our overall experience having our reception there was very difficult. read more

We hosted our Local Wine Tasting event last night at Warehouse Winery. Because I was part of the group (the Women's Environmental Network Minnesota) that planned the event, I arrived early. Unlike the other reviews, I had a great time! I was cheerfully greeted by Nick when I walked in the door. As per our normal events, we had loads of talking before the event began, but Nick was able to call us all together for the wine tasting. He talked about the owner (Billy), his business and the history of the building. He also spoke in depth about how the wines were made and answered loads of our questions. Nick's presentation was informative without being pretentious and the wine tasting was fairly well paced. The building is industrial from the outside but wonderfully fun and whimsical (in an industrial/eclectic sort of way) on the inside. I will definitely bring others to this venue.
