They have updated the rooms and now have some fabulous eating options as well, we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast didn't have to go to town deal with crowds or people we ate on absolute serene ambience, sitting by the pond eating our delicious fresh homemade breakfast. Just let them know that night before. What time do you want it delivered to your room and what you want. The grounds are stupendous. Beautiful history and close to historical Bisbee, Tombstone and many mines that are an easy drive/walk The owner/hosts are very attentive and strive to meet every expectation and level of engagement. The owners shared future plans and upcoming events that keep this location relevant, modern and yet maintains a little old west folklore'esk vibe. They will host family reunions, weddings and any other type of gathering you need. They are part of the local garden tour and will be having a Halloween Haunt coming up the end of October. We highly recommend this place for a one nighter or a long weekend or more. Great views of the night sky as well. We were able to see the Milky Way for the first time in years! My family loved it and hated to have to head back to reality in California Reasonable rates, pet friendly, free parking and close to local "lots to do's". Pleasant rustic place far enough away from Bisbee center to be away from the bustle of town yet close to anyplace you might want to go in Bisbee and the surrounding area. Two very nice guys run the place, very accommodating chaps. There are two Tesla chargers available (yeah!), we stayed in room #3, very comfortable bed, nice clean facilities. My husband and I stayed at the Mile High Ranch in Bisbee for a week. What delightfully charming accommodations! The owners have renovated old mining cabins, with a separate bedroom and a full kitchen. The entire setting of the Ranch is charming, historic, and filled with flourishes of whimsy and lovely gardens. The owners extended themselves "above and beyond" when I had to ship an expensive computer to my sister in Bisbee. They graciously offered to accept the package and hold it for me in safekeeping until we arrived. And, BTW, the breakfasts (for a small additional fee) were fabulous! The owners also provided a great book with lots of recommendations for restaurants and things to do and see. So happy we selected the Mile High Ranch for our stay in Bisbee. When looking for a dog and kid friendly place to stay in Bisbee, the options didn't seem great. Then, I stumbled across The Gardens at Mile High Ranch. I spoke to Henry on the phone, who was very nice, and decided to book it for a night. When we arrived, Henry greeted us with cookies, gave us our key, and showed us where to park. We were able to easily unload our luggage because we parked right in front of our room. The room itself is adorable and had everything we needed. My kids loved the bunk beds, and the vintage American Standard kitchen sink is SO cute. The bathroom was clean and there were extra blankets, coffee, and VERY thorough directions on how to make everything work. There is a binder in the room that can answer any questions you may have and recommendations to restaurants, bars, and tours. In the evening we were given everything we needed to roast marshmallows in the courtyard next to the fish pond. There is a small hike on the property that my kids and I also enjoyed. The location is fantastic and only 3 min from downtown Bisbee. I cannot recommend this place enough. read more

Our first night in Bisbee was in the downtown area and we listened to the trucks, motorcycles and fire sirens all day and night. Our next night was a Mile High Gardens and at night we only heard an owl.... that's it. Daytime we sat in the comfortable shaded area around the waterlily pond and enjoyed the soft playing music. Our room, like everything there, was very clean and well equipped- large fridge, lots of coffee makings, TV and a bed mattress to die for. Rick and Henry (co-owners) are seemingly both professional hosts and make you feel like you are the only guests they have. If you are in the area or stay there be sure to see their very unique gift store. You will see things you have never seen before- fun stuff! I stumbled on this place while shopping for a place to charge my EV...which they do at no charge if you stay there. Because of the pleasant setting there I hear they host a lot of wedding and BD parties. When in Bisbee next it will certainly be our choice in lodging. Jim A read more

I have made three visits here now and I can say, I am a fan of The Gardens at mile high ranch. I am a San Diegan but love to come to Bisbee to get away. Outside of the cental historic district. Clean, quiet, friendly and a fair price. Park right at your door! Room has a fridge, microwave, coffee pot, kettle, silverware, paper towels, coffee, tea, sugar- everything you really need. For birders, this is very well located for San Pedro Houae and Whitewater Draw. Breakfast is available for an additional $15. Bring a hairdryer if you need one. The only minor concern was that the hot water was slow in coming; just let the water run. read more

This is the only place to stay in Bisbee. The owners were so helpful and pleasant. My puppy was so excited to be there and had the best time. The gardens are so beautiful, relaxing and serene. There is a small pond to enjoy on this winter day. We are in a small town many miles from Sierra Vista where the closest Target and movie theater is located. This is a great getaway though. We've stayed here twice now, and have enjoyed both visits. Both rooms we've stayed in were good sized: living room, bathroom, small kitchen, bedroom with queen sized bed, window a/c units, and an outdoor sitting area. Definitely not the Hilton or Marriott, but you don't come to Bisbee expecting that. It's a retreat, an opportunity to refresh and relax. Our dog was welcomed here, too, which made our getaways that much more convenient and enjoyable. Its close to town - not walkable, but no more than a five minute drive. A provided breakfast is optional and at an extra cost. If you're looking for a high end resort, this isn't it. If you can deal with the occasional creepy-crawly or creaky floorboard in exchange for a beautiful star-filled night sky and the quaintness (and quirkiness) of this small former mining town, this might be the right option for you. read more

Second, our room was clean, the bed was dreamy, comfortable with coffee, comforters, and TV. Third, the owners, two sisters, were awesome. They made sure we had everything we wanted. Fourth, the two chairs outside our room was perfect for the amazing star gazing. Fifth, there were photo opportunities all over the grounds. This was the kind of rustic ranch that made my heart sing. The other 3 in our party felt the same way. Make sure you check out their pond, custom iron-worked gate, hammock, glass art, mosaics, etc. This place was quaint and down to earth. Usually we like to be right in the middle of the action -- walking distance from shopping and restaurants --- in a fascinating town like Bisbee. But last weekend, my husband and I dearly needed peace and quiet and spa treatments, so we chose The Gardens at Mile High Ranch, about a mile from the heart of town. We stayed in Suite #6 -- three nice-sized rooms including a full eat-in kitchen -- with a wraparound porch. This suite is part of the original house, built in the 1880s. The other surrounding buildings were built in the 1920s. The place is run by Trinity and her mother, Maggie, and presided over by Bella, a St. Bernard-sized shaggy white mix, who kindly allows other pets to come and stay over with their people. This particular weekend the weather was freakishly windy and way too cold to consider sitting outside (although the front yard is "furnished with tables and chairs and a tent). We cranked up the space heater and relaxed inside. The living room was decorated to enhance the Throat Chakra and the bedroom, the Heart Chakra. There are full explanations of these chakras on the wall to contemplate. The color scheme was soothing greens and blues. The living has recessed lights and the bed was outfitted with cozy flannel sheets. No music source (an iPod dock or at least a radio would have been welcome). But there is a TV and free Wi-Fi. The kitchen is basic with an oven and four-burner gas stove and equipped for cooking most meals. Coffee and tea are supplied and you can order a continental breakfast ($15 for two) including muffins and yogurt. My husband has a bad back and has had many, many massages in his life. His comment on the hour-long massage with Tara ($65)? "The best I've ever had!" Very high praise, indeed. I tried the ozone sauna ($35). After sitting in an enclosed box for 45 minutes, my skins was soft and moist. The ozone is supposed to detoxify. I think I'd go for the massage next time. (Mother Maggie specializes in colonics. Errm. No experience there. Maybe ... some day...) Bottom line: It's comfortable, so quiet you can hear birds singing in the morning, reasonable (our spacious suite was $100/night), close to town and pet-friendly. We are definitely looking forward to a return trip in warmer weather --- with the "fur kids" in tow. read more

Great value for a great place! We just loved this charming B&B. Our room was very clean and cozy. It felt like a home away from home! When we arrived, we were given the choice between the room we booked or a different room that cost a bit more (but was vacant). It was nice to have the choice, and we didn't have to worry about a price difference. We also ended up joining in on the pizza night...which was amazing! Delicious wood-fired pizza with TONS of toppings to choose from. We even took the leftovers back for breakfast the next morning. :) The owner had some family in town while we were there, and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. What a wonderfully hidden gem just outside of Old Bisbee! We were lucky to find this place on an almost completely sold out Presidents' Day weekend. Our room exceeded my expectations- sometimes B&B's can leave a little to be desired but not this place! Our room was large and comfortable, it came with a microwave, mini fridge and coffee pot, wine glasses, cups, paper towels and everything else you could need. Our room also had he option of a pull out couch, but we didn't need it. Bed was comfortable and the linens and pillows on the bed were very comfortable. I was worried about the location town, it is a little far to be walkable especially when it's cold or rainy however Maggie recommended a local shuttle service which was awesome! They will come to get you rain or shine within 10 minutes and take you anywhere for just tips! Maggie was so accommodating when we thought we would have late arrival and she has a very nice orange cat that lays across the porch. The grounds are beautiful even in the middle of winter. We will be back and definitely recommend to friends and family! read more

My boyfriend and I stayed here during labor day weekend. Cute little cottage that we stayed in and the grounds were fun to explore. The owner was very accommodating. We spent a lot of time watching the hoards of different hummingbirds surrounding the feeder located out next to the fire pit and pond. It was an amazing experience and I strongly suggest you check it out. Once they got accustomed to us sitting there, I pulled the feeder down and "fed them." It was SOOO AMAZING! Early morning and before sundown is when there's the most hummingbirds. We would definitely come back. Have fun! read more

Booked (a king bed with pullout) through Expedia for our family of 3 adults and 1 child. Per expedia, payment was due upon arrival and not through Expedia. We were contacted the night of our booking that our booked room wasn't available and we'd be moved to queen bed with a twin. Ok.... fine what're you going to do? Then upon arrival they informed us that our booking price wasn't correct and needed to be increased for extra guests and I had to obtain original booking confirmation which did include our appropriate guest age/count. The new price we were quoted included 70$ for tax on a 100/night x2 night stay?!? Ultimately had to defend our quoted price for which they tried to make us feel guilty for. First, the owner and daughter is very nice and they were helpful and accommodating when we had to change our reservation. The location is pretty good and it's quiet and i loved that it was dog friendly without a huge fee. My complaint was with the motel and grounds. Sure it's old which is not surprising in an historical town, but it's rundown! It would be rude to say it's a dump but it kinda is. There's no gardens just dried sparse grass. All the outdoor furniture is dirty and very old. The room is made up of old worn uncomfortable furniture,. It may be clean but that's all. Sandpaper like towels, fitted sheets that barely cover the mattress, too low toilet and tiny shower, curtains that barely cover the windows. It was just all so sad and depressing. I would Never recommend this place to anyone and will never return. Don't believe the online photos because they're very deceiving. I'm sorry to leave such a negative review but i want others to be prepare for what they will see here. read more
