We arrived close to closing time, but we were still greeted warmly and offered a tasting. What a fun time we had. I was so impressed by the man serving the tastings, very knowledgeable Abeokuta the wines and he was very entertaining to talk with. My wife and I picked a bottle to go and wondered back out 20 mins after closing. The are said to be the second oldest winery in the state (1938). Great selection of wines here, so you should be abler to find something enjoyable. read more

A nice little spot to take a break from shopping in all the cute neighborhood boutiques. The owner explained that they are one of the oldest wineries in the state of Michigan, and was very knowledgeable about all of their products, making great recommendations. We shared a tasting (a flight with 5 1-oz pours) and sat in the cute backroom. We enjoyed reading all the funny wine-centric shirts and decor that are for sale. At the end of our experience we were offered samples of 2 flavors of wine slushes, which can also be taken to go and sipped on as you shop. read more

We loved visiting this winery! We were spending an afternoon browsing around downtown Holland when we stumbled upon it. Whenever we see a sign for wine, we never say no... In a nutshell, the wines we tried were fantastic. We ended up taking one of their fruit wines home, and regretted only buying one bottle when we finished it too soon! The man working the winery was very pleasant and outgoing while we were there. He gave us a lot of detail about the different wines, and was really fun to interact with. Sadly, this makes me sad to write this review bc I had visited this winery when it first opened and it had promise. However, working in the industry, I understand how to work crowds, keep up with the shuffle and overall, how to just have manners. We walked into the location, and there were only 9 people at the tasting bar w 2 servers pouring. We waited to see if they would serve us or even acknowledge that we were waiting. Instead, we were ignored completely. We left, came back after 10 minutes, ignored again, but other tasters scooted over and gave us their spot since they were finishing. The 5 tastings for $8 along w a bonus mulled wine seemed like something fun to do while visiting. The server grouped us w other people, even tho we didn't know them, couldn't answer any questions I asked and seemed confused with what she was supposed to do overall. They were out of quite a few of their wines but they had offered 5 wines not listed on the tastings to choose. The pours were sips every time, not even qualifying for a 1 oz pour, and then we were left for over 10 minutes alone. There were empty plates that i assumed was for crackers to help w tastings, bottles left all over the counter, confusing servers where the bottles went, etc. The couple and I discussed that we couldn't be there this long. I had planned on doing 2 tastings since the pours were minuscule and I really wanted to taste more but we had to leave since we had already exceeded an hour. The server offered us the mulled wine but then realized it wasn't even warm. She asked if we wanted it cold?!? So I responded do I get a heated mulled wine afterwards? She laughed and said I had to do another tasting! I had planned to purchase some souvenirs, a lot of merchandise but I just didnt have the time for her to figure out how to cash me out. Paid for the tastings and we left. All in all, they weren't that busy. She talked more to herself then us, and the wines weren't worth purchase. I hope the company reads this and employs people that enjoy their job and want to help people learn about wine. read more

We stopped here for a quick little wine tasting and I am so glad we did. When we walked in at first, the winery was packed. There were no available spots to get a wine tasting; however, after about 30 minutes of walking around the town and going into little shops, we circled back and saw a few openings. The person behind the counter (sommelier?) was super knowledgeable on their wine choices and what would be preferential to my pallet. I prefer fruity wines, but he suggested some drier wines that I might like. It was nice to get out of my comfort zone and try something new. They ended up being very tasty and I bought a bottle of their cherry wine which was unique and delicious. Pricing was great too. It was only $8 for 5 tastings. It was definitely a great way to spend some time in downtown Holland. read more

Came here today, I had been before but back in 2010 or 2011, I believe. You can taste 5 wines (1 oz glasses) for $5 which is one of the best deals in town. I tend to prefer sweet wines, and I liked all of the ones I tried. I ended up buying a bottle of the Peach and Honey ($14.99) but the Very Cherry wine ($13.99) was a close second favorite of mine. Last time I tried the Holliberry (Holidaze?) and that was also very good. They have wine slushies as well and the man behind the counter was very cheerful and helpful in deciding which wines to try. I'll be back here the next time I'm in Holland. read more

We got here and the tasting bar was full. We waited patiently for over 20 minutes to be served. We stood in the middle of the room and were ignored. We knew the server was busy so we waited until room opened at the bar. We moved to the bar and again waited as the server assisted new walk in customers without acknowledging us. We decided to leave and as we left we finally got the acknowledgment by the server saying "I can only do so much". Needless to say I have now been there twice ...my first and last. Also the newsletter signup for a free tasting is very misleading and must be redeemed at the PawPaw location. read more

Warner's was very clean and had several wines we could fry. It was $6 for 5 tastes,which is reasonable. The employees were very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint was not being able to try the ice wine. Prices are fair on bottled wine and a wide range of flavors. Recommend to anyone who enjoys tastings! read more

I had a good experience here. The person pouring our wine, I believe he was the owner's brother, was absolutely cheerful and hilarious. He made the experience that much better. 5 tastings for $7 which is pretty consistent for a tasting. You can order wine by the glass as well. I wish they had more fun wine stuff to shop around but ended up walking away with a very tasty Sauvignon blanc. read more

We were not acknowledged while standing in the store Finally after approximately 20 min the patrons at the bar started to leave and we walked to the bar with still no acknowledgement that he would be with us shortly. Two people walked in and were quickly waited on. After the second one was greeted and helped we all decided to leave. He just said "I can only do so much". Awful experience! The associate assisting my group was very pushy and deciding what all we should taste without asking any of us. He poured the Moscato in our glasses first, which, for me, that it not even one of the wines I would have ever tried to begin with it, but I had no choice, he just poured it. So, I just went with it. I thought it was going to be an addition to our 5 tasting then. I have been to some wine tasting where they will have you try one of their new wines, but it will not be a part of your 5, or however many your get to try. Then, before we could each say what he wanted, just said you're trying this, and poured something. It was the worst wine tasting experience I have ever had. We all left very disappointed. read more
