The team is affable, the mood relaxed, and is close to a real old school Barbershoppe as I have found yet in Connecticut after moving here three years ago Prices are quite reasonable, which is a relief considering I have seen some barbershops in the Fairfield and Westport areas asking $80 for a simple man's haircut, and don't include other services in that price such as a beard shape up or neck clean up... My husband has had his hair cut by both Nick and Nicholas in Oxford and Shelton and when I say he goes in looking homeless and comes out looking like the cover of a GQ magazine..it's no exaggeration. Their lines are clean, the cuts are affordable and great quality; they do an AMAZING job here. I normally am the one that ends up making his appointment because he's so busy at work, but I love the online appointment system - it's really easy to use and gives you a lot of options to chose from time, date, and service wise. I came back this week for a pre-Christmas cut and it was nothing short of the perfect haircut. The shop was clean, organized, and very welcoming. As soon as I walked in, Mike was welcoming and professional. He tended to my haircut requests in a very detailed fashion and provided great company. He made my experience fantastic and I will for sure be coming back to Mike at Jesse's barbershop!
