I had a very good haircut from someone named Allison. I have also gone to the spa in New York City where the legend dyed my hair brown. Although it is expensive, it is worth it if you have difficult hair. The parking is free and they take all major credit cards. It has been in Greenwich for several years. They will also do your make-up, I believe. read more

Niccole is an exceptionally talented colorist and the perfect go-to for high-end, magazine worthy blonde color. DO NOT GO HERE, especially if you're blonde. I usually go to HairThrone in NYC, but decided to try this place out so made the trek over. The whole experience was bizarre and the whole time I was getting my hair done, my hair stylist was chatting with her coworkers and laughing and saying inappropriate remarks, which is whatever, but not really what you want to listen to for 3 hours. My color came out horrible -- orange and brassy, when usually my blonde comes out perfect and just how I want it. There are tons of hair colorists and I've been to plenty of them from Oscar Blandi to Sally HershBerger, John Barrett, Sahag and Hair Rules. I am very picky and finicky when it comes to my hair b/c I feel that it's the most important accessory on a woman. I honestly have to say that Silvie at Warren Tricomi in Greenwich CT is by far the best I've ever had. She's a true artist and top talent in this industry. Not only is she exceptionally skilled and what she does but she is honest, personable, professional and fun to chat with. Today. I sent my daughter to see Silvie at the salon bc she wanted blondish highlights. She has medium brown hair that is thick and wavy. The only person I felt comfortable sending her to was Silvie. As expected my daughter's hair came out AMAZING. she did an outstanding job. It came out gorgeous and brightened my daughter's face. She was so elated and absolutely loved her hair. Definitely 5 stars for Tricomi in Greenwich. I was visiting friends in Ct and they recc the salon. I needed a one process and my highlights had not been done since COVID. Silvie is a fantastic colorist She knew the perfect formula for my hair. The highlights look great I am extremely pleased with the results. Next time I need color, I'll make an appointment with her even though I live in Manhattan. The salon is COVID compliant Temperatures r taken, everyone is wearing masks, social distancing between clients. The front desk receptionist is friendly and helpful. read more

You can not get a better hair cut or color than at this salon. And my eye brows are always done to perfection. And yet-- there are serious issues that the ownership needs to address. I come to this salon about every four weeks for a cut and color and eyebrow tint. Yet every time I enter this salon I am made to wait while at least five employees crowd around the front desk talking to each other, talking on the telephone, or simply looking at a computer screen. I am never greeted with a smile, a or question like, "how may I help you?" Instead I stand waiting for someone to look up. Today, some one looked up after I stood there for some time to be greeted with the question, "are you waiting for something?" Uh yeah! A big issue is the reception desk does not face in-coming customers and instead faces the salon. This, plus poor supervision and staff management, are big issues at this salon. I have left three previous times to try other salons-- each of which had great reception. But sadly their hair stylists did not compare. Wouldn't it be great to have both in one place? read more

I go to Tonya for color and Casey for cut. I have long, thick, frizzy hair that isn't easy to manage. They both execute exactly what I envision and they make it look easy. I've never loved getting my hair done professionally before coming to these two. Also would add that I've always been treated warmly by the front desk. This exorbitant, pretentious salon will never see me walk through their doors again. I was looking for a new salon and tried them out. I had an appointment with one stylist, but when his "regular" client showed up 30 mins early during my appointment time, they switched me to another stylist (Lexi) without even asking me. Lexi was also overbooked, and before she had even started cutting my hair, the VERY rude desk manager woman came over and said "your next client is here." Lexi replied "tell her to sit tight for ten minutes and I'll be done here." TEN minutes? that's all I get for $200+?! I sat their with a sopping wet head, horrified at their staff's lack of professionalism. The biz Dev manager at Warren Tricomi should be horrified. Furthermore, Lexi's cut was awful. I have a mullet! She didn't listen to me, and cut the front too short for me to pull back into a pony as I requested. So now I have all these weird pieces falling out, including a chopped off piece by my ear. I haven't had a cut this bad since my mom tried to cut my hair when I was in the sixth grade. Lexi herself was nice enough but clearly rushed me through the process, not caring about my needs or listening to me one bit. I said I needed a cut that would allow me to tie it ALL back so I could do sports (I'm a climber). When I told her to stop cutting so short she said "it needed it. This is much healthier now." Umm excuse me? Is this my head or yours, dear?! I don't complain usually, but after 35 years of haircuts, I know a bad one. I also know a business designed for snobs when I see one. Just has my first appointment there yesterday (i just moved to the area) and loved Haley who did my full head of highlights - she was so quick but still thorough, definitely the shortest time I've ever spent in a chair for color! Don't be fooled though, just because it was quick did not mean it was rushed - she just clearly knew her stuff and knew her craft, and was so great. She checked on my color twice during my blowout to make sure it came out well when it was drying. My cut and blowout was done by Elie - he is AMAZING. Truly a master, and hands down the best cut and blowout I've ever had. Definitely found my place and my people in my new neighborhood. Also the salon itself was beautiful and well-maintained. What a huge disappointment. Was told that my stylist was a Master stylist. Well that proved to be a lie. My hair looks like a 4 year old cut it with baby sizzors at $240. Should have known something was seriously wrong when I walked into the salon on a Monday (odd because no salons are open on Mondays in the area) and there was not one customer is the place at 3pm. Seemed really shady. I called the salon manager twice and never received a returned call. Guess they are use to complaints. Stay far away from this fake place and fake people. Shameless price gouging. Made an appt with a stylist that charges reasonable prices compared to her colleagues. I was called a few days before my appointment to be told she no longer worked there (first red flag) and was paired with a new stylist, not thinking too much of it. Turns out this woman charged $450 for highlights, which is twice the price that I paid AT THIS SALON literally two months ago. Despicable. I will never be returning, and I will tell everyone I know TO NEVER GO TO WARREN TRICOMI. Also great job to the managers for (I hope accidentally) sending out that email a few months ago encouraging stylists to increase their prices for god knows why to every single one of their clients. Obsessed. I was first really intimidated because it's "Warren Tricomi" and I thought only the rich and famous go there. But after a different salon totally screwed up my hair color (3 times I might add in the span of 2 weeks) I had no choice but to go to WC. I am SOO HAPPY I DID. First of all, everyone there is so sweet and friendly, I don't know why people are saying everyone there has an attitude. Second. Katherinne is the best of the best. I had a STRAIGHT LINE through my hair on ever layer. And in one sitting she completely fixed my whole head of hair while also making sure my hair was going to stay healthy! I am so impressed and can't recommend her enough. Also, I was there for 4 hours and I had a blast. She was so much fun to talk to and just gab about whatever. This was my first time getting my hair colored at this location and I some how lucked out getting Pia at random who happens to specialize in balayage which is what I wanted. I am so impressed and in love with my hair. I've been wanting to go really blonde for a few months now and she made that come true. She's great and knows what she is doing. They said that they could not reduce the price for me. I rearranged my whole day. I can't say enough about Tracy! I've been seeing her for cuts and highlights 10+ years now. She is truly talented, and you can totally trust her with your hair! Have gone through several different styles over the years... short bobs, straight and sleek, funky and wavy, long with bangs, and no matter what the style I always get stopped on the street, or at a store, by women asking me where I get me hair done. I wouldn't drive all the way from Guilford if she wasn't worth it. A lot of my friends and family have started to see Tracy over the years, and no matter what their hair type or style, they always get hooked. yes the salon is a little pricey, but she is worth every penny...and I find having good hair totally worth it! read more

I literally only come here for the artist who does my color (not going to say who because her schedule is busy enough). Need to preface this by saying, color is always amazing. The horrible experience is with whoever "Dana Duff" is ...she's the name that comes up on my caller ID. The rudest individual I've come across, I actually dread booking my appointments. Once she got extremely combative when I told her I got something done the time before. She said, it was impossible that's not how they do things at the salon (it happened -I have nothing to gain by making anything up). Another time I called to cancel (prior to 48hrs) she tried to make me feel like she was doing me a favor by not charging me and then never offered to reschedule me. I know it's not Warren Tricomi because I've been to the flatiron location a handful of times and it's very pleasant...maybe do some customer service training. read more

I asked for the same hair color I had for some time. 1st red flag was that the stylist did not look closely at my hair. Nor did she ask any questions. She rushed away and appeared with her little dish of color. She did "recommend" that I get a different color near my face and insisted it would be flattering. (I had my doubts). As it was drying, something seemed wrong. When dried, the color around my face was silver! (not blonde) and the back of my hair looked lavender. I was horrified. They showed minor concern but said that I should return to have it fixed. Instead I went to another salon for a complete correction. I also noticed a nanny I had fired cutting hair there. She never mentioned attending beauty school so I found this surprising. read more
