I came here today for the first time to get my hair cut by Nicole! My hair looks amazing! I have really thick hard to manage hair and she was able to really make it look great! Right when I walked in the receptionist Olivia was so nice. She got me seated right away and made me a coffee. Since is was 10am I didn't get the wine, though they do offer it! She also gave me 20 percent off and cards so a friend can get 20 percent off their first time as well with my referral. Every time you refer someone they also give you a 20 percent off, which is such a great deal! I work at a hotel In the area so I will definitely be referring as many guests as I can! Overall a nice first experience. First-time customers get 20%. I made a same-day appointment. Offered a beverage upon arrival (non-alcohol and alcohol) options. I did partial balayage - which originally is $175, with the first-time customer discount 20% the total was $140.00. Then $35 for the glaze (that was just applied to my hair, not offered, nor was I informed there was a charge). When getting my hair washed she said that she was adding a glaze, to help the color since my hair was taking more red than ash. I have never gotten a glaze before... I also had no idea that I was getting charged for it. They only accept Cash or Venmo for Tip. They do not allow tips to be added to Credit Card payments. Small inside, but overall nice! read more

It was very easy to make the appointment. The manager answered all of my questions and worked with me to make the appointment. I had the appointment with Nicole who was so amazing, and very informative. She gave great recommendations for new products to try and showed the best way to use them. I left feeling amazing and the haircut was amazing. I will definitely be going back. Only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is because when I asked about pricing before booking the appointment I was told one price, and it wasn't until after the appointment was over I was told it's $5 more expensive for the stylist I had. read more

This salon used to be named "Salon Wayne" and while they were good - WOW, my experience yesterday was over the top. They offer very high end Keratin treatments, professional cuts, foils, you name it. Shannon is my hairstylist and literally I would follow her to Egypt she's just that good. My hair is always perfectly colored (low and high lights) and the cut - she really knows how to flatter my somewhat "round" face. They also offer hot tea's, coffee and water while you are being styled. The other thing I really appreciate is she is always on time with her appointments which is important in our busy lives. Totally in love with my hair and the new location in Darien! Love the big, open floor plan and it's modern, simplicity decor they have along with a warm, comforting atmosphere the stylists and staff bring! It's a little nerve racking to try a new salon considering I've had a few bad experiences in my past, but the few stylists I've been to so far they've listened to exactly what I wanted (I've gotten blow dries, color, and a cut) and they've always reached the goal I wanted to meet not to mention the compliments I get after :) also a big plus they're super flexible with my schedule and always got me in everytime! I had come to this salon and used a good stylist who had left. The salon set me up with Cara and said she was just as good with full confidence. I tried Cara with a basic haircut and it was fine so a few months later scheduled a Balayage. Cara basically painted in full sections of hair ie. giant highlights and toned it. The balayage was a full 3 inches down from my root. Needless to say I was dissatisfied and contacted the salon within 5 days asking to speak with the owner/operator. She didn't call me back but her representative did 3 days later. She implored me to give them another chance and set me an appointment with the owner who she said was their top stylist. Although I paid for a Balayage, she foiled me and over-processed my hair so much so that the oversized highlights were grey. I went home/on a business trip and waited for a few washes to see if it washed out the toner but after 3 washes the highlights had only turned brassy yellow/orange instead (WHILE ON A BUSINESS TRIP). When I was able to contact the salon, they responded that although my hair looked awful and had seen pictures, i was outside the 7 day complaint period which isn't even posted at the salon. When I said i wasn't informed of said policy but had originally responded within said policy, they responded that they post it on the receipts in tiny letters. I had been giving a tip and didn't get a receipt. They offered no solution nor money back and outright refused anything additional. This salon always has appointments and it is clear now that the skill level is subpar. STEAR CLEAR, hindsight is 20/20. My long hair is severely damaged now and there was not so much as an apology given. If i am able to post the pictures I will absolutely do so. read more

went for a haircolor with a girl Ericka in fairfield, the color was horrible. had to go back to my regular colorist and pay 200.00 to correct some of it which still am not satisfied with it since Ericka touch my color its not the same. I feel the hairdreser there are not trained properly and not experienced. I asked to have the owner correct my color she was to busy.... That is horrible Customer Serice. She should of at least looked at my hair to see what was going on.
