    Pancakes and tenderloin biscuit

We have started enjoying Warrens since Pats closed down. Their breakfast and coffee is top notch. Their biscuits are top notch. (Melt in your mouth). Staff is courteous. It's now our Sunday spot for breakfast.

Little shack in the middle of old town Jefferson, Ga. Parking is random and wherever you can find a spot; front or back of the shack. Order at the window of the shack from the menu to the right of the building. Place your order with the person at the window and either hang out in the parking lot or in your car. They will ask you for the make and model of your car and bring out your food to you. I don't remember there being any outside tables but maybe a bench or two. What we ordered: 1 cheese burger with fries, 1 panther patty melt, 2 kids sliders. The food was middle of the road at best. The presentation in the kids slider was awful and the fries were burnt and soggy at the same time. The cheese burger was good but again the fries a soggy burnt mess. The patty melt was good with a beef patty between 2 grilled cheeses, but honestly it needed more cheese or a sauce. The tots were okay, nicely salted but average. If you are looking for a quick grab to eat on the way, level up from gas station food, this is the spot. Don't know if we will be back to try anything else.

Very good burger. So big I could not eat it all. Meat seemed fresh. No more chains for me.

Not only is the steak amazing but the sides are outstanding as well. It's hard to find both good meats and great sides, however Cotton Calf over delivered on both. I was sad when I took my last bite, that's how good and flavorful everything was. Mannnnnnn Ordered the Cajun ribeye medium and sliced!! Mushroom risotto was incredible and the roasted broccoli! My goodness what a meal. The Cajun Ribeye should go in the hall of fame!

We enjoyed the Pearberry which was light and delicious, as well as the Japanese Old Fashioned which my partner thoroughly enjoyed. Although the price for bacon seemed hefty, it's almost a slab instead of slice of bacon. It's a solid portion and very thick and deliciously coated in a sticky sweet sauce that we enjoyed. We were having a great time and were in great spirits but it took a turn once we were seated for the dining portion of the experience.. I think our experience came from the person manning the meats, who in our opinion doesn't know proper temp checks. We ordered multiple filets, ribeyes, and a tomahawk at our table of 5 and every single one was under. We asked for medium and medium rare throughout our table, but they all arrived severely underdone. The tomahawk was the biggest disappointment, when you pay a hefty price, you expect better results.. but it was raw, because rare doesn't even really describe it. We are not the type to make a fuss, so we just ate our steaks and asked for sauce to make them palatable. The flavor was there but it was very subtle, it could used a bit more seasoning. We relied heavily on the sides and our prior experience at the bar to keep spirits up. The reason this review isn't worse is because regardless of our dining experience, our bar experience was superior and I'd go back strictly for that. I would try it again to see if the cook has gotten better but not for a while.

The only good part about this location is the store has all the fun goodies to browse and shop in and the decor is still the classic Cracker Barrel theme. The service was fine - got the job done but nothing exceptional. The food portions for the take home meal is sad but I get it if it's just $5. But other restaurants do have decent portions for the price compared to here. My husband and I got take-home meals and when we got home, found out that his burger was missing the vegetables when we didn't ask for it to be removed. My chicken tasted like it was a generic seasoned frozen chicken patty and the meatloaf was pink and raw in the middle. The mashed potatoes tasted like bland water was mixed with dehydrated potato flakes. We had to add butter and salt to doctor it up some lol! It was a disappointment but this location is the only bad one I've been to. I really enjoy all other locations besides this Braselton one and hope food supplies haven't just been cutting corners from the corporate level. There is room to improve here
