Ate at their food truck at Alchemist - that is how food should taste! Amazing jerk tacos and boneless wings!

Rating: 4.5 Came to…read morethe Ben and Jerry's factory for the tour. Booked a ticket online a head of time. The campus has bunch of interesting decorations and photo areas. There is designated guest parking where we parked and we go up the stairs into the campus. Followed the sign to the guest entrance. We did the tour of the factory which was about $7 per person and got a ticket for pint of ice cream as well which i believe is cheaper than buying one on its own. The tour started promptly at starting time and the staff was friendly and enthusiastic. We went through a theater where we go through the history of the company and then we went over to factory area where we see the production process. After that we are taken over to the tasting section where we get to try their mystery flavor/ exclusive flavor only available at the factory. They also show the ingredient list so that if someone has allergy or diary or gluten issues they offer alternate non dairy or non gluten options which was considerate of them. The sample size was good one mini scoop which was generous and they also offered cookie dough chunks as well during the tour. After the tour we looked around their gift shop and we traded our coupon for the pint ice cream and got ourselves an ice cream bowl. They also have ice cream shop area outside where you can enjoy ice cream on the spot and offer some of those exclusive options as well. I got their apple cider shake and my partner got the mash marrow sky flavor mini cup. The ice cream was good but i think we were all ice creamed out at that point. We stopped by their ice cream graveyard where they showcase their discontinued flavors which i thought was the interesting . They also had playground area for kids which is nice for families. Overall it's a nice experience and i would recommend visiting at least once for the tour. Price is reasonable and you get to learn about ben and jerry franchise and of course get some ice creams.

Worth the line to enjoy the treat at the end. They have the plenty of seating to enjoy outside. The weather is perfect. Each employee can take up to 3 pints of ice cream home after each shift if they want for free. All the employees seemed very happy

We immediately loved the idea of having food cooked over the fire, but it was the first phone call with Luke that sealed the deal. He's an expert; the way he talks about weddings immediately inspires confidence and calm. We were planning everything from out of state, and Luke made it remarkably easy and fun. Not to mention how stunning the food actually IS! My husband and I had the time of our lives at the tasting, and at the reception we must have heard about a hundred times that it was "the best wedding food ever," from guests. The presentation is out of a magazine... in fact, I believe they were recently featured in Vogue! (Congratulations, wonderful people!!) The menu options are unique, fresh, and basically all of our favorite foods. And speaking of favorite foods, they have these chargrilled oysters! I must have eaten a dozen of these, as the very kind staff kept walking them past my husband and I during cocktail hour. What a tremendously happy memory. Thank you, Luke and The Hindquarter for making our wedding unforgettably delicious and special. We can't wait to come back to VT and eat more of your incredible food! HIRE THEM! :)

Go hungry. I found…read moreThe Hindquarter through a Yelp event, to which they brought such tasty nibbles as smoked chorizo with tapenade, steak tartare on potato chips, spring rolls with julienned carrots and cucumbers, and lamb meatballs in a creamy cheese sort of sauce. The spring rolls were a flat experience, but it's truly in their meat that they shine. I tried their pork bahn mi at the ArtsRiot Friday food truck event. The meat was perfectly seasoned and seared, the flavors and texture well juxtaposed with pickled vegetables and grilled, buttery roll. For the work and expertise that goes into the meat preparation and flavor combinations, this sandwich was worth every penny of the $9 they were asking for it. I should not have tried it after a late lunch and on such a hot day, though: had I been profoundly hungry when I ordered it, I can only imagine that this would have been a wonder. Next time, I'll hit it up after the gym.

He had asked for some of our favorite dishes and foods, and using just a few examples he was able to design a creative and diverse menu that had us practically licking the plates by the end. It was so wonderful to be able to relax with our families instead of having to stress about not only cooking a full meal for 8 people, but planning the menu itself. Both of our families being cheese lovers, he started us out with a beautiful, locally-sourced arrangement of cheeses complete with herbed butter and artisan bread and crackers, along with dozens of fresh oysters. Some of our favorite dishes consisted of the brown butter lobster buns with old bay aioli and lemon (Will also made a vegetarian version of this with cherry tomatoes for one of our family members); hanger steak with chimichurri, peppers, and onions; and a Parisienne gnocchi with freshly foraged mushrooms, baby kale, and dijon crème fraîche. Everything was perfectly cooked and each dish had such a unique flavor profile so that the entire meal truly felt like one exciting journey. We especially loved the carrot cake with cardamom cream cheese for dessert, which had us going back for third helpings. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful of a time we all had, and we would just like to thank Will again for such a magical evening. He is not only incredibly professional and accommodating, but very easy going and a pleasure to be around for your special event.
