It s a very nice tour. Not as big as I was thinking it would be, but nice to see the inner workings and hear the story. It's cute, simple and fun the way it is. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my experience overall but I didn't find any off the wall flavors you can't get at the grocery store. Tons of kids running around so get here early to avoid the madness.

The Ben & Jerry's factory is simply adorable. The tour had plenty of fun facts and it was so exciting to have Ben & Jerry's by the scoop to try some more flavours in different cones

You know that song "Tell me something good?" Well they should be playing that all around the factory, because every time I talked to an employee they kept amazing me with new amenities that I could do. Plus the ice cream was great. Though looking around.. seeing all the happy family's makes me feel pretty lonely constantly reminding me of my late husband and my daughter who no long talks to me. ALAS I very much recommend. Sincerely, Rhonda

I mean. You can't beat doing a tour of the OG Ben and Jerry's can you? It's one of the most fun things to do if you're in Vermont and find yourself there. It's like $6 and you get to see the history of the brand, see how they make the ice cream plus try a free sample! The tour guides are so fun and have funny puns which makes the kiddos laugh and they really made the inside bright, colorful and whimsical! Absolute must if you're in the area! Oh and make sure you take a walk outside through the flavor graveyard!

    Ben & Jerry's Flavor Graveyard

The Ben & Jerry's Flavor Graveyard is a funny tribute to all the discontinued flavors, complete with headstones with epitaphs. The flavor descriptions were fun to read, and it's clear why some did not make it. Others were more surprising as some sounded pretty tasty to me. I liked that it gave reasoning for some of the discontinuations - for example, the peaches for the Georgia peach flavor were trucked in from Georgia which turned out to be too costly and too far away. I did laugh at how many pistachio flavored iterations they tried - I personally like pistachio ice cream, but apparently that's not a crowd-pleaser. It's a cute, quick stop near the parking lot for the rest of the factory. It's self-guided and a fun photo op.

Loved this poetic, hilarious little graveyard featuring the marble headstones of the Ben & Jerry flavors that have met their demise. So sad it broke the news that my favorite, the Oatmeal Cookie Chunk, is officially deceased! Discontinued since 2012, I've been looking for it for years, and it was the greatest flavor they sell by far. Please resurrect?? Even just at the factory for a week! I'll come and get it! 5 stars!!!

We had a great time at the factory tour! You do have to book your tickets in advance because they tend to sell out. Parking was easy as there was plenty around the factory, even EV charging stations. Once you enter there's a shop you can buy souvenirs from. We waited around 15 mins for our tour to start. Our tour guide was so pleasant and funny! During the tour you get to see the workers making the ice cream, its history, and other fun facts. Towards the end of the tour you also get a free sample. Once the tour was over we went to the flavor graveyard and This was pretty cool as well. You get to see all the ice cream flavors that have been discontinued. We wanted to try the ice cream shop but the line went outside of the store and we didn't have time to wait, but I wish we could have! I highly recommend This activity if you are in the Waterbury-Stowe area! We had so much fun!

Playground up the hill near parking

Been here a couple of times now. Parking is on a hill either above or below the factory. Handicap spots are in the first lot above the factory. A playground and staircase lead down the hill from the uppermost lot and the flavor graveyard. Buy tickets online to assure your spot on a tour or take a chance and buy them onsite. You can also get a cone or cup of ice cream outside where you will find picnic tables. A few seats are available inside along the wall. Restrooms are available both outside and in. A gift shop is located inside with plenty of t-shirts and other souveniers. Check-in for your tour inside on the left. The tour includes stairs to the upper level but an elevator is available if needed. Start with a brief film then move on to a glass sided walkway that straddles the factory floor. You see a bunch of machines and the containers moving on the line while the tour guide tells you about the process. Last stop is in the flavor lab that was originally used to create new flavor combinations. Walk past the photo wall of their top 10 flavors, past the restrooms and into the gift shop. If you really love B&J's the tour is worth it. If you are just curious it's not much of a tour. The flavor graveyard is a fun stop in a shady spot. The playground is a nice addition.

Booked this ahead of time for a family of 6. The booking process was a straightforward process. On the day off of the visit, we drove down from Quebec City and didn't know if we were going to make it back in time. I emailed the company and they were able to change the reservation to a later time with no issues. It was a straightforward process and they were very kind. Really enjoyed the tour which came a free ice cream during the tour. The place was nice and entertaining. The gift shop had interesting items, the graveyard had nice funny stories and there was also a playground for the kids. Definitely recommended if you are in the area!

The tour is so interesting. You get a good history on the evolution of the ice cream and then you tour the factory. There's only one line at this location so they mix and package one flavor at a time. There's a tasting at the end of the tour and we had marshmallow sky and it was sooo good. Wish they had that one all over the US. Lots of cute tshirts at the gift shop. Got a couple of cups at the scoop shop to finish off yhe visit. So delicious.

cute factory tour. You will get to try sample of flavor of the day. Unfortunately they don't sell a special flavor at this location. I was hoping to find maple flavor ice cream.you have to come here once. If you want to do factory tour,it would be best to reserve it online. They give you a rundown if the factory process and cookie dough sample too. Don't forget to stop by the Ben Jerry flavor graveyard your a chuckle.

We're driving through with our dog, is there an outside area that allows dogs?

You can walk the dog around the parking lot. there is not much you can do with your dog during the tour. In order to see or get ice cream you have to leave the dog outside
