Salmon tuna poke Peanut butter spicy tuna maki I think

The fish was fresh and the flavors were clear and on point. Best sushi rice I had for a while. Really healthy selection and one of the best teriyaki sauces I have had in my entire life. The place is very well thought and leaning towards healthy and light. It's everything you desire after surfing or swimming at the nearby beach. It appears that they have a nut butter maker for freshly made almond or peanut butter. Unique combination for a sushi place. I still enjoyed the sushi separated from the peanut butter but others liked it together. Of course we will be coming back. The Service was incredible. The space is ok inside. Outside they have a relaxed little open yard. It could be called the chill surf sushi mutt butter shack

This is one of the worst sushi I've had in my life and I have had a ton. I am extremely confused and feel mislead by all of the high reviews. We ordered a Sushi Combo ($34+), which comes with 8 pieces of sushi and a choice of a house roll. - Sushi rice is supposed to have a mixture of rice vinegar and other ingredients. This was not sushi rice. - For the house roll, we chose Yellowtail and Jalapeño. They were bell peppers, not jalapeños. It was a very dissatisfying meal and we would not recommend this place to anyone, unless you want something that just looks like sushi but actually isn't.

What to say other than, what was that I just ate because it definitely wasn't Sushi. Apparently the high praise is from people whom have never consumed actual Sushi before. Those rolls were so tiny, definitely not sushi rice it was gummy and plain. The rolls had absolutely not flavor, no visual appeal, no taste and overall NOT good at all. The rolls are expensive for the size and definitely overpriced for the taste. Find another place. Yellowtail Jalapeño and BlueClaw California

Still delicious as ever So many thoughtful vegan rolls Brown rice option And fresh fresh fish Lovely staff Clean space Outdoor seating off the street A little pricey but honestly so worth it. Delicious!

We came here on a Sunday, a few days after Long Island entered phase two of reopening. We ordered at the counter, and the staff informed us that they would bring the food out to our table (outdoor dining at the back of the store). All staff had masks and gloves on. The food was inexpensive, and was served quickly. The style of rolls was more like American sushi, rather than traditionally Japanese, but the flavours were good and the sushi was made well. They also had vegan sushi available. Would recommend for a cheap and quick meal in Montauk.

Doesn't look so appetizing. Tasted ok. Vegan roll with mushrooms on top.

Glad they have lots of vegan sushi. But for me they're just ok. The ones we ordered looked and tasted so dry. But not bad and Nothing special. Limited menu. Not much selection. The ones posted on the menu was just all sushi.. I didn't see any chicken or seafood dishes or poke bowls. If their in their printed paper menu, well it wasn't offered to us. The place was dead. Nobody was there so no wait. U walk up to the cashier to order and find a table. They have some garden seating but the grass looked like it not well maintained. They do have a clean restroom for customers.

Didn't know what to expect but this was literally life changing. As soon as I walked in I felt like a transported to a natural food oasis. Do you know what I mean?? probably not, but seriously so yummy. I ordered $80+ worth of food that's pictured below- along with special chopsticks and a four pack of rose. A great spot to hit after the beach and will be back for years to come - living for the clientele here!!!

APPS We got the ginger salad (3.5/5) and kani salad (5/5). Ginger salad was really standard/average, super refreshing but totally not worth $7. Kani salad was delicious though; mayo was not too heavy, tempura added a nice crunch factor, and thinly sliced cucumber added a refreshing taste. SASHIMI Got two sashimi platters (3/5) for the table... they were OK. My favorite was the yellowtail followed by the salmon... they mistakenly charged for the rice even though it was technically included. ROLLS For more simple rolls, got the spicy scallop roll (3.5/5) and spicy fluke roll (5/5). Spicy scallop was good, but spicy fluke was really good. The fish tasted fresh and there was a nice crunch in there too. SPECIALTY ROLLS -Lotus roll (4/5): lobster on top with tobiko was really good... lobster in montauk is so fresh! Tuna inside was just OK, not sure how much I liked the sweet chili sauce. This roll was on the smaller side -Sunrise roll (4.5/5): this roll is also on the smaller side, but was my favorite of the specialty rolls. Nice tempura crunch factor in the spicy salmon and I love ikura. Mayo on top was a bit much though, but salmon overall was very fresh -Pink Lady Roll (4/5): eat this right away before the shrimp tempura gets soggy, but the tempura was delicious! Paired well with the avocado and spicy tuna, but I did not love the sweet chili sauce -Tiger roll (2.5/5): my least favorite... more bland, nothing fancy, and was not a fan of the kombu seaweed. Also, the sriracha did not complement the piece at all. Overall, solid fish with a few misses here and there. Convenient sushi for the area though! For rolls, we

We arrived at 4 and other people were also arriving and we all had to wait to order our food. Our fried calamari was incredible and definitely fresh. The menu states that majority of the fish is caught that same day. I had steak frites as my entree. It wasn't the best and definitely lacked flavor. My husband ordered the spicy salmon and shrimp tempura roll. He said they were very good but couldn't been colder. Our flourless chocolate cake extremely lacked flavor and didn't taste fresh. I could've gone without it. Nevertheless, it's a restaurant that's tradition and we always enjoy our experience and view.

Service - 2/5 - place was jammed, but still very slow. Ambiance - 5/5 - nice location with live music. Overall - 3/5 - stand by my original 3 star review. This place is a bit overhyped and you pretty much pay for the experience of eating there. Food was a mixed bag, some dishes really good, others are whatever. The Tuna with lentils was by far the best. Service was very slow, you cannot make a reservation so you are playing Russian roulette walking into the door. Even the place being busy, still took way too much time get things moving. You pay for the location, nice spot on the water, live music, modern inside, that is where you pay. All things considered, probably would not return. Best Dish - Tuna with lentils Would Return - Not likely

Everything tasted incredibly fresh. I started with the fluke sushi, which I'd never tried before, and it was delicious. (I wish I could accurately describe sushi/fish in better detail, but I can't so just trust me on this one!) For my main course, I ordered the hot lobster roll, and as an avid lobster roll-lover, it did not disappoint. The lobster was served in generous, chunky pieces with just the right amount of butter. It came with fries that were perfectly crispy, though I do wish they had been seasoned a bit more. The restaurant overlooks the inlet, making it the perfect spot to relax and watch the boats come and go. The staff was welcoming, and the service was excellent from start to finish. They also played great music -- that particular day they were playing country music (a southerner's dream!). Last but not least, another bonus is the location. There are several charming little shops just steps away, making it easy to browse before or after your meal. My biggest fear is it's going to be super crowded the next time I'm back in Montauk and I won't get a table. With that being said, I absolutely cannot wait to eat another amazing lobster roll with that lovely view! 5 stars for the lobster roll, 5 stars for the view, 5 stars for the hospitality!

It was a bit above average for the area and prices were better than I've seen elsewhere. My husband and I dined in on a Saturday around 6 pm. The place was already slammed with online orders and it did not stop the entire hour or so we spent in the building. Everything is disposable even when dining in and eating out of styrofoam isn't my preference but ok. It's a small establishment and I would guess the overwhelming majority of their business comes through online ordering. So, order online rather than go in as there is no real ambiance. I tend to order pretty basic rolls and sashimi which I think really levels the playing field when it comes to sushi. So, my commentary on the sushi is just based on the quality of the fish. It was alright not particularly vibrant or fresh. But not bad either. The pieces of sashimi were literally the biggest I've ever seen. They were too big to comfortably one-bite. The spicy tuna roll was pretty good and didn't require soy sauce to make it palatable. The miso soup was also good. My husband loved their salad dressing. If we decide to order again I would skip the sashimi and probably order some à la cart nigiri to form my final opinion. The search for a truly killer sushi place around here continues.
