We ordered a Sushi Combo ($34+), which comes with 8 pieces of sushi and a choice of a house roll. - Sushi rice is supposed to have a mixture of rice vinegar and other ingredients. This was not sushi rice. - For the house roll, we chose Yellowtail and Jalapeño. They were bell peppers, not jalapeños. We came here on a Sunday, a few days after Long Island entered phase two of reopening. We ordered at the counter, and the staff informed us that they would bring the food out to our table (outdoor dining at the back of the store). All staff had masks and gloves on. The food was inexpensive, and was served quickly. The style of rolls was more like American sushi, rather than traditionally Japanese, but the flavours were good and the sushi was made well. Pretty good! I tried their vegan sushi's and thought they were pretty good. The seating and store area is nice as well. The eggplant one was on the sweet side but in general everything was great. I like how the whole store was accommodating to different diets as they had alot of gluten free things as well (like soy sauce). Nice healthy but hearty food, however, nothing extraordinary. It's a nice idea: order sushi and sit outside and eat it. Unfortunately, the sushi is roughly equal to store bought. Mediocre at best. You don't realize how important sushi rice is until it's messed up. The rice here is mushy and envelopes the fish in a starchy blanket. Highly recommend! We ordered the Dani roll, the Ditch Plains roll, the Toni roll and some items on the specials menu. Naturally good is one of our favorites and the fact that they've now opened a sushi spot is a dream come true! The green tea lemonade is also great!
