Ok and easy sushi place in the area. I'm glad there is a Japanese restaurant that is not even in the town in this deep area. Quality is acceptable even price is kind of high but can't complain on a place that be in this far. Good thing about this place is the seats outside you can enjoy meal with your fur buddy. To order, you have to go inside and order the food then they will bring you your meal. - Rainbow Nanuto is good: it is a roll without rice (I love rice but I only want vegetables and fish this time) - Tuna Tartar: kind of fusion but it ok, a lot of mango. - Spicy Tuna Roll and Spicy Salmon Roll: Regular - Sashimi Deluxe: Chefs Choice 18pcs Assorted Sashimi. It was good I like salmon, octopus and tuna another fish has a bit smell so I'm kind of dissapointed. - Sake is very expensive for the brand that you can buy in regular liquor store.

Wide variety of choices on menu. Just be prepared to sit outside and lots of noise. Don't order baked potato.

We had the citrus bowl and scallop bowl. Both were super fresh. We will be back No lines either since they have only been open for a month.

We arrived at 4 and other people were also arriving and we all had to wait to order our food. Our fried calamari was incredible and definitely fresh. The menu states that majority of the fish is caught that same day. I had steak frites as my entree. It wasn't the best and definitely lacked flavor. My husband ordered the spicy salmon and shrimp tempura roll. He said they were very good but couldn't been colder. Our flourless chocolate cake extremely lacked flavor and didn't taste fresh. I could've gone without it. Nevertheless, it's a restaurant that's tradition and we always enjoy our experience and view.

Service - 2/5 - place was jammed, but still very slow. Ambiance - 5/5 - nice location with live music. Overall - 3/5 - stand by my original 3 star review. This place is a bit overhyped and you pretty much pay for the experience of eating there. Food was a mixed bag, some dishes really good, others are whatever. The Tuna with lentils was by far the best. Service was very slow, you cannot make a reservation so you are playing Russian roulette walking into the door. Even the place being busy, still took way too much time get things moving. You pay for the location, nice spot on the water, live music, modern inside, that is where you pay. All things considered, probably would not return. Best Dish - Tuna with lentils Would Return - Not likely

Everything tasted incredibly fresh. I started with the fluke sushi, which I'd never tried before, and it was delicious. (I wish I could accurately describe sushi/fish in better detail, but I can't so just trust me on this one!) For my main course, I ordered the hot lobster roll, and as an avid lobster roll-lover, it did not disappoint. The lobster was served in generous, chunky pieces with just the right amount of butter. It came with fries that were perfectly crispy, though I do wish they had been seasoned a bit more. The restaurant overlooks the inlet, making it the perfect spot to relax and watch the boats come and go. The staff was welcoming, and the service was excellent from start to finish. They also played great music -- that particular day they were playing country music (a southerner's dream!). Last but not least, another bonus is the location. There are several charming little shops just steps away, making it easy to browse before or after your meal. My biggest fear is it's going to be super crowded the next time I'm back in Montauk and I won't get a table. With that being said, I absolutely cannot wait to eat another amazing lobster roll with that lovely view! 5 stars for the lobster roll, 5 stars for the view, 5 stars for the hospitality!

It was a bit above average for the area and prices were better than I've seen elsewhere. My husband and I dined in on a Saturday around 6 pm. The place was already slammed with online orders and it did not stop the entire hour or so we spent in the building. Everything is disposable even when dining in and eating out of styrofoam isn't my preference but ok. It's a small establishment and I would guess the overwhelming majority of their business comes through online ordering. So, order online rather than go in as there is no real ambiance. I tend to order pretty basic rolls and sashimi which I think really levels the playing field when it comes to sushi. So, my commentary on the sushi is just based on the quality of the fish. It was alright not particularly vibrant or fresh. But not bad either. The pieces of sashimi were literally the biggest I've ever seen. They were too big to comfortably one-bite. The spicy tuna roll was pretty good and didn't require soy sauce to make it palatable. The miso soup was also good. My husband loved their salad dressing. If we decide to order again I would skip the sashimi and probably order some à la cart nigiri to form my final opinion. The search for a truly killer sushi place around here continues.
