It says they're understaffed now and I understand that, but I've had terrible experiences even when they weren't short staffed. They can have a line of 8 people with only one tech checking people out and they literally don't even care. And no matter what time you go there's a huge line. They'll slowly walk across the pharmacy, don't care at all about making you wait. One of my visits I saw a tech getting angry with an old man who didn't understand his prescriptions. Maybe I'm deceiving myself but the prices seem higher than the big Wal Mart down the hill. Maybe they charge a little more for convenience? They also don't price match any longer at the neighborhood market which was nice when you saw something you liked on ad at another store. Selection is smaller (to be expected with the smaller footprint of the store) but sometimes this gets downright irritating. The worst part about this store is the out of stocks. Limited footprint is one thing, but what you DO have space for should be in stock. There are always empty shelves in this store and sometimes entire categories are just wiped out. There's nothing convenient about coming here if I can't get what I want or need and have to go to another store to get it anyway. If they could get in stock and stay in stock it would go a long way to improving their service.

Steve has worked here for years, and he greets people by name, chats them up for a few minutes, and truly gives a neighborhood vibe to this store. He's extremely helpful and always upbeat with a smile on his face. This is how stores used to be "back in the day." I don't think I'm old enough to use that phrase, and yet - there it is. It's very refreshing to walk up the aisle with my cart towards the checkout area, knowing that Steve will be there to say, "Hey Jim! How's life?" I find myself looking for him whenever I get to the front of the store. There are many employees here who are also very friendly and helpful. I feel bad that I don't know their names, but I definitely know their faces, and I appreciate their efforts to brighten people's' days.

The downfall to this store are that the staffing downright stinks. They are always understaffed and it shows in the long lines at the pharmacy counter to talk to the nice people. They also seem to have a lot of empty shelves and do not plan ahead well for the seasonal "rushes" on things like cold and flu medicine. We don't use this location for anything more than a traditional pharmacy so I cannot really talk about candy selection or milk prices. I just wish they would step up their game in staffing to make this a better shopping experience.
