We've been going to this place for several years on and off for "large loads". There have been…read moreseveral ownership changes recently and we've noticed the place go downhill. The machines are old and dirty as well as the floors and the folding tables. The sun blazes in and but they don't put the A/C on. The worker goes out the back to smoke with the door wide open and the smoke blows back into the store. Today was the last straw. There were maybe three people in the place when we were there. When we finished our wash, there were no dryers available. Two were out of service (management has gotten into the habit of NOT repairing broken machines lately.) We asked the employee if any of them will be finished soon. She announced rudely that we'd just have to wait. When her dryer ended we asked her if she could remove the clothes. She said we'd have to wait. (Copping an attitude, we knew where this was going.) She complained out loud to her friend about all the work she had to do ( laundering drop off clothes) and her friend started talking out loud about how rude "some people" are because we were asking her to remove clothes when she was so clearly busy. (I guess we don't count as customers.) Avoid this place. The place is dirty. Employees are rude. Price is no bargain.

When my husband picked up the shirts (2 polyester, 2 cotton, 1 linen, all labeled machine wash), he was told "they needed special treatment" (not sure what that meant as they were on hangers, not folded in boxes. They insisted my husband paid $25 for 5 shirts. The next day I went in and asked (he's probably the owner but he did not know me because I was not there before). I asked how much to "wash and pressed cotton shirts" (just to be sure he knew they're not silk or anything that needs special treatment). He said $3 a shirt. I repeated the question, again he said $3. Stay away from this place. They rob you and you have no choice but pay unless you give up your clothings and walk away. They basically hold your garments hostage.
