Clean, most machines worked, friendly Staff. It wasn't busy when I got there in the morning, but it did get busy before I left. Heavy duty in the speed queens was $3.25 a load. The dryer was a quarter for about 6 minutes. Their quarter change machine worked for $1 & $5 (says it works for $20 too). Regular laundry drop off was $1.75 per pound with a 24-48hr pickup (sounds like a deal to me). We are renting a cabin nearby that doesn't have a washer or dryer. The Wash and Wear was a great place to go. I would recommend it. Locals there doing laundry, weekenders & short term rentals. I got 6 loads of washing done in 36 minutes & only needed 3 dryers. I tried drying my clothes on low and permanent press options and they were damp for a long time, so I put the dryer on high for 4 minutes and they were dry after that. read more

I go here to do my laundry, and I've had good experiences here. The washing machines clean the clothes well, and the dryers dry the clothes well. For today's economy it's pretty affordable. My only complaint is that there are always quite a few of the machines out of order. read more

Not enough large machines and staff will yell at you if you try to use the machines that work.

I use this laundry mat often, not because I want to, but because I have to. I've been ripped off so many times by so many machines & never reimbursed unless the lady is there and she will say you're lying or just give you awful looks. I've had machines eat my money & not start, fill up with water but not spin, or spin with no water! The "hot" setting is not hot at all barely warm. The machines also don't fill to "high" level. They're definitely doing something to the water pressure here... you'll see that for sure if you ever try to wash your hands! Then the dryers some will cheat you out of minutes, some will give the correct amount, but it takes forever because some o the washers leave your clothes very wet. Just today I had a washer & a dryer both eat my money but no one is here so I'm just ripped off! The lady will also give you a hard time if she thinks your clothes are too dirty or have hair on them... Ummm does she not know people bring their clothes here because they're dirty?! It's wild. Many days she & other workers will be here taking over almost every machine for side laundry businesses it's really not fair to other customers. Well it's a laundromat, what is there to say. An entire wall of large capacity dryers ($.25 for seven minutes), five double capacity front loaders ($2.75 per load), two triple capacity loaders ($3.75 per load) and a sea of good ol' fashion top loading washers ($1.75 per load). It looks exactly like what you would expect it to look like with teal green folding tables and plastic lawn chairs...total flashback to my youth. However, this place is kept clean and neat and it looked like every machine worked. Two change machines available which takes $1s, $5, and $20s. Something has changed with the dryers at this business. Are used to do my laundry here and not worry about my fluffy blankets. Went last night and all of my blankets were completely over dried and melted even the blanket that my mom left me when she passed away was ruined. They say use the machines at your own risk but hundreds of dollars in blankets have been ruined and I'm not happy. I've tried to call the number to no avail there's no one to talk to and I feel like they don't care. Also I don't know what's going on with the machines but I don't feel like my clothes are getting clean enough anymore. Yes the people are very nice and the place is very clean and I feel safe but if the machines aren't going to wash your clothes And they are going to ruin your blankets it's not worth it. read more

This place is taken over by people doing laundry for their companies. You have to find time between reservation companies doing their linens. It's pretty frustrating that they cater to them and not regular consumers. You can talk to her but she doesn't listen. Doesn't care. read more

Went camping and the first night we were there it POURED. Like huge thunderstorm poured for several hours in the night. Tons of water came into our tents so we had to use all of our towels for soaking up water. Many of our clothes and sleeping bags got wet also. Went to town and found this place. Very clean. Friendly owners (a husband and wife). They have soap for purchase and also a cash to quarter machine. Got all of our laundry done and dried. I ended up washing more dirty clothes because it was so convenient. Five minutes from our camp site and then it saved me a ton of time when we got home since I didn't have to wash one load at a time. Horrible place. Always filled with local motels stuff. Rude little manager. Machines don't spin right. Front loads hold about the same as the top loads. Clothes came out wet. Mgr. got mad at for me not using the more expensive front loaders and told me not to wash my thin blankets in top loaders. I didn't see any signs to tell me that. She refused to spin my blankets for free or refund. Left with soggy clothes. Bought a washing machine that day. Don't treat Big Bear residents like that shorty. read more

Was traveling / working in Big Bear and ran out of clean clothes. The lady here walked me they the system. The place was Clean, organized and nice. When clothes were done she folded and returned all my clothes to my suitcase, called me and let me know done while I had coffee at Starbucks next door. This place is awesome! The owners are super nice! We came in twenty minutes after last load and asked if we could throw the clothes our son threw up on in just to wash them and they let us and were able to toss them into a dryer too. I couldn't be more grateful to them. read more

I liked coming to this place, even though is it way overpriced. But as in tonight, no way I am putting a feet in here anymore. The lady who closes started cleaning 2h before closing, literally running her broom in our feet, kicking our stuff and not once she said sorry or excuse me.
