I've found everything from antique Fiestaware to a huge glass and wood display hutch - prices range from fair to really good - HUGE craft section that always seems to have fabric, notions, and paper craft supplies. There are always other misc craft supplies, too. - tools are vetted before being put out for sale, and the one time I brought a drill home that didn't work Dove's very kindly gave me store credit, which I promptly used to grab a different drill that did - Dove's will deliver furniture and other large items for a very reasonable fee, and even place it where you want it in your house - local's discount day every week - sales support the local women and children's shelter read more

Shout out to doves for really ripping any charitable joy from your soul. God forbid you work 7 days a week and arrive slightly after their preferred receiving time. Offered to take the whole load to the dump instead of donating it, they refused and wanted the donation but also wanted to moan the whole time. How about some gratitude. The outside of a Thrift Store is supposed to look Vintage, and a little shabby chic too. This place is a favorite of my friend, so this is the only thrift store we stopped in. I loved that they also had a considerable amount of stationery products. Vintage books (1st edition), Cookbooks, DVDs, and most of their items were in excellent condition. This was a disappointing thrift store. Since it backs as a unity home you'd think they would take care of the items they have so it can go to a good home. One of the rooms could easily be made into a baby item room, they have tools protected instead of the baby play mats, strollers, high chairs, and car seats. It is all sun rotted and has been damaged by rain. They have so many great items for children and babies that have all continued to sit and be damaged. They have a whole room of dishes that could be easily be rearranged to one side of the room, the layout and baby/children items needs to be redone, not thrown out as if they are less important than dishes. They are also selling diapers at an insane markup. The brand baby2baby diapers are diapers that are distributed at diaper drives and their mission is for them to always be free, not to be sold and especially priced at 8-15 dollars. The diapers have sadly been thrown on a shelf outside and have lost its value by rain and just by being kept outside. read more

This thrift store is impressive. The manager must have some sort of OCD, because this is the most organized hoard of goods I have ever encountered. There are sales daily and they had a special on books on the day we went. There is also an outdoor space with furniture and overflow. The prices are pretty good too. There is limited parking at the front of the store and you should call to see what donations they are accepting on any given day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. read more

Praise Jesus for these wonderful helpers!!! I scheduled a large-item donation pick-up with DOVES. Through the fire/evacuation we had to re-schedule a couple times, but each time Sal (the pick-up truck operator/organizer) was professional, honest, and eager to help in whatever capacity he could. Sal and Sean both helped move the large items from my house. They even went out of their way to take some other items to the dump for me. These guys rock!!! I've been visiting this store since they opened in 2016, and I truly admire what they stand for--supporting women and victims of abuse through their proceeds. It's a cause I genuinely appreciate. However, I have noticed that the inventory tends to be quite similar each time I visit, and the prices can feel high considering the items are donated. It seems like they often research the market value of donated items and price them close to new, which can be a bit discouraging. While I respect their mission, a bit more variety and more accessible pricing could make the experience even better. I've also seen their dumpsters full of great items. Why throw them away?. Maybe have a free table instead of sending usable stuff to landfill. Needless to say I think I'm done going in and trying to find stuff for my family when Amazon is easier and cheaper or comparable. read more

We always visit Doves when we visit. It's a very nice thrift shop serving a good cause. We usually park, make a donation of unwanted books, household items and clothes, then head in and look for something that catches our interest. I've been to Dove's Nest a few times. The first couple of times it was outstanding. It's a very well organized thrift store. I have donated things to them. Recently, I went in there and the prices were higher and they didn't have much of anything I was looking for. The employees weren't as friendly as in the past. Perhaps , they have had theft problems. It seemed that they kept watching me when I was around the counter and didn't ask if I needed help. They weren't friendly at the register. I'd still go there. read more

Best community support group on the mountain! Most workers are volunteers trying to support victims of domestic violence.My husband and I have been donating since they first opened. Lots of furniture after sales of homes and ski clothes. Last donated furniture in 2014. Now emptying out homes in Fawnskin as finally remodeling after three plus decades! Michelle is an angel! Clean, organized and extremely friendly staffs at The Doves. I was simply browsing and didn't have space in my car to take home some fine wall arts that they display. Upstairs they have their boutique and again impressed with how everything is labeled, priced and sorted. They have a little library containing movies and books. I love this little shop! All the workers are just so sweet and helpful. It's organized, clean and not full of junk. It has a lot of merchandise, so sometimes it's a lot to take in. I went two days in a row this week and saw so many different items I didn't notice the day before. I recommend you set aside some time to really take it all in. I've found some very lovely things here. I like going during the week so as to take them up on "local day" and "senior day" for the 20% off, it helps when purchasing a more pricier item. This place is great, furniture, appliances, like full sets of nice plates & kitchen stuff. Really nice staff, I just paid $25 for a working Newer Hoover vacuum cleaner. There's a huge library of DVD's, they've got nice golf clubs ski/snowboard equipment and I'm told it's all for a good cause. read more
