Scheduled my daughter's taxi ride to school this morning they were fully booked for over 2 hours…read more Scheduled her ride home after school taxi never showed up and when I called taxi dispatcher to ask about the situation she seemed highly overwhelmed and to be honest rude on the phone. Told her my daughter's ride home was scheduled this a.m and that when school was out the teacher and my daughter were watching for taxi but no taxi showed up she dispatched taxi to do a pick up and stated id receive a text when taxi arrived at her school... I didn't like idea of my kid waiting around so I went to get her from school..at that time I called dispatch cancelling her ride at 345....at 5:05 I received a text saying the taxi ride was there. Very unprofessional. Unorganized. Rude...seemed rushed...felt like my daughters scheduled ride wasn't important enough. Was given excuse after excuse today... Do better West bend taxi .. I use to be able to trust the taxi service up until today.. curious as to why the riders are given 3 to 5 minutes to enter on taxi and if not taxi leaves..but if the taxi is over 2 hours late then what... Go back to go riteway at least all of the taxi drivers and dispatch lady knew how to do their job the right way especially when it involved elementary aged kids using the taxi...

Had to ride twice today after years of using Uber, but they got way to pricey. I called three hours…read morein advance for a cab at 11:30 am, but a driver called me at 10:33 am! I told him that I needed a cab for 11:30 and he just said OK and hung up. I then called the same cabbie back from caller ID and asked where he was; he said he'd call dispatch. I could not wait so I called dispatch myself. Cab came, got to destination, he didn't have a card machine. Sorry but I don't carry cash! On the return trip I called, and told dispatch I needed a cab that takes credit cards. I got in, and we traveled a block or so when I asked if he indeed took cards. Nope! He started to pull over and asked me if I needed a cash machine - NO, I am not incurring an ATM charge because of your not taking cards. I think they are all just not recording their fares for tax avoidance purposes but hey I got two free rides lmao. Not. My. Problem.

The lady I talked to on the phone reassured me that my request for a Wheelchair Accessible vehicle would be easily met and that I shouldn't worry and to enjoy the last day of my vacation. A small interaction like this may not seem like much, but as a person with a disability, similar requests are often denied or at best, met with an, "I'll see what I can do", attitude. So, it meant a lot! When my plane arrived I called dispatch, picked up my bag and met my driver, who quickly loaded me into the van and had me home in 15 minutes! One is I find the site Uber.Com and the user interface on my Android phone somewhat clumsy. (I had trouble reading my screen in the sunlight.) Two, I discovered that at a congested mall the GPS doesn't pinpoint your location that accurately. The Uber driver finally called me to determine my exact location. I walked the 7 blocks to the meeting point. When the shuttle arrived, I was asked for a QR code. Never needed one for a standard ride. I looked at the confirmation email, no code. I looked at the app, no code. I showed all of this to the driver. I even showed him the pending charge in my account. He basically told me to take a hike, tough luck. The cost was $21.54. I ended up having to order a regular ride which cost $117.63. Typical bait and switch. They don't have a phone number to contact them. All done with texting. They told me they'd be in touch within 6-12 hours. I contacted them after 24+ hours. They said they'd be in touch. It's now over 48+ hours and nothing. I hope you never have an issue with Uber, horrible customer service.
