Terrible. Boring. Our guide was inexperienced. It was not exciting. You should expect to walk around a few blocks while other people walk and scooter by yelling. You never go inside any buildings. Anyone could give this "ghost tour" by charging people to walk around few blocks telling old history stories. The EMF is bunk. The "plushy" ghost they sell for $6 is just 2 inches tall and a cheap POS.

From the makers of the Haunted Nashville Tours (Graveline Ghost Tours), the Washington DC Ghost Tours does not disappoint! This isn't some tour for people who want cheap scares and costumed employees jumping out at you. This tour is for people who are interested in the dark history behind one of the supposedly most haunted places in America --- Lafayette Square. Think of this as a story-telling tour during which you get to see the White House, St. John's John's Church, and the Hay-Adams hotel, among other things. You get a deep history (each fact is corroborated by at least three independent sources, and many of these sources can be found in the Library of Congress in the way of diaries, journals, or letters from the people involved), full of betrayal, sordid romance, insanity, suicide, duels, tragedy, and death. The tour guides are the only ones that show up dressed in full Victorian garb, and they are very good story-tellers. They encourage you to be skeptical of the ghost stories, but that's what makes it all the creepier. Sometimes, touring guests actually seem to catch unexplainable or interesting flashes of ... something ... on their cameras, and everyone crowds around to look. Several owners who bring their dogs testify that their dogs act strangely, either more aggressively or nervously. It's a great tour, great fun, and a very interesting learning experience if you want to know more about DC. I definitely recommend it!! Note: although this is a walking tour, you don't actually walk really far. So if you get tired easily, don't worry --- there are plenty of places to sit down along the way.

Great tour for a night in DC. See the Capitol when it is somewhat quiet. Gail was a great guide. Nice to meet people from all over. Don't be afraid to go even if you are in DC by yourself. The guide and your fellow ghost hunters (and maybe even a few spirits) will keep you company!

I always try to do a ghost tour in new towns, I really enjoy this sort of stuff. We did the tour of LaFayette Square. It was about an hour and a half and walked you pretty much around the square. It was very easy walking. You go outside the haunted spots and listen about the creepy things that happened there. I thought this was really interesting and the tour guide tried to make it fun. It just wasn't my favorite tour but I would try the other one that they offered because I like this kind of stuff. I would just probably do it with a groupon if they ever get one.

I forgot the name of the your guide but she was really interactive. Some stories were better than others, but over all a good tour. The picture is one we took on the tour in the room of a man whose ghost was cemented into the window. For those unaware, they're called orbs

We went on the Lafayette Square tour last night, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide, Lala, did a terrific job of telling the stories for each site. We learned so much about the famous ghosts in the area such as Lincoln, as well as some lesser known to us - Dolly Madison, and Commodore Decatur to name a couple. We even got some ghoulishly good photos. Would highly recommend!

We are local to the area and love history, spooky stories and corny jokes so for us this is a fun date :-). The tour began at the Old Stone House where we were checked in and divided into two groups of about 18 people each. Everyone in our group was from out of town except us and our amazing tour guide Sonia. She effortlessly led us from site to site while allowing time for questions and photos. She also made sure our group stayed together and safely crossed the streets. I was concerned that it would be hard to hear given the traffic and Saturday night usual cacophony that is Georgetown but that generally wasn't a problem. We didn't see any ghosts - DRAT! But we did have fun and learn some history along the way. We would recommend this tour company and this particular tour.

Derek was an amazing guide. Another couple was supposed to be with the group and ended up rescheduling, so I basically got a personal tour! Derek was very knowledgeable of the city. While he was nice, he didn't have a lot to add off the track I pretty sure he had memorized. I actually feel like I heard most about which monuments had the best restrooms than much of anything else (we never asked about bathroom situations). Would I book this again, no. Here is what I learned, you still walk a fair amount into these monuments from where they drop you in the golf cart vs. the people who are on the bikes and scooters. If you're really looking for the least amount of walking and able to operate those that would save you time and money. Overall, there was no value for the price tag for us and the guide kind of ruined the experience.

I did enjoy that parts of this tour. Didn't enjoy the "stories" so much. Would have liked more history. We got the bus the next morning and went to Arlington. When we finished we went to the stop, not such great bus timing. Their brochure said buses come every 15 minutes. After an hour of waiting we tried to contact BB to see what was going on? They do not have a phone number that works. There is an email address that stars it will get back to you in 24 hours.., what? We waiting over an hour and gave up for an uber. We did get another email telling us there are delays due to events. This is not okay we when have paid for a 24 hour pass that is not usable. All in all, our 24 hour pass was good for 3 hours. Reason for this? Maybe because only two buses run on Sunday. So unless you have the time to wait two hours for your next bus, it's not worth it! Do not use this service!
