When it was time for post season, we immediately paid the fees for the post season/nationals a month before it was scheduled to start. When it turned out that our team would not be able to do post-season due to other team members' unavailability for the summer the business would not refund what we paid. They offered a temporary position on another team which we didn't want. We just wanted a refund for the fees for something that we did not receive. Other families who hadn't paid yet weren't required to pay, but because we had already paid, they somehow thought we did not need to be treated equally. They continually denied a refund. Lesson learned, it will cost you a thousand dollars to be prompt, in the future don't pay until the very last minute.

When I finally told her i was tired of her son bullying my child she got defensive because I said he was bullying. I pulled my son from tball today. After trying to explain th situation to the president as he kept deflecting the situation, I realized it was because they are all old friends. He mentioned my son isnt innocent he was pouring gatorade on the ground last game and playing with friends. How you can compare that to physical abuse? The board members, coaches and team mom. This group is too tight knit. The president had his mind made up before he even spoke to me it was clear. Very sad situation, very unfair. I feel I failed my son, I should of pulled him out sooner.

I have been looking…read morefor a development class for the longest and was referred to One Village sports by a friend whose daughter plays for the San Leandro league. I sent in a request for a free trial and heard back from Jen the same day. I decided to have my son go for the Wednesday class which is located at John Muir Middle School. Field area is very nice, no potholes and parking is good. I was very impressed with this class from the moment he started. Jen gave him a warm welcome and explained to him what to do since all the other kids already knew. He jumped right in and started with drills. She taught foot work, how to control the ball, defender drills and a scrimmage at the end. Equipment was neat, didn't appear overly used and she had very good control of the class of about 10-11 kids. I would definitely recommend these classes to any parent looking to develop their children's knowledge of the sport and ball handling skills. I signed my son up for the remainder of the season and will sign him up for summer session as well.

Our kids (7 and 5) have so much fun at the events. They are a mix of open gym, structured instruction, and crafts/snacks/dinner depending on the event. The birthday party was similarly 10/10. The Hudson team planned a mix of open gym time/free play and fun games like freeze dance or cat and mouse to periodically bring the group together. Because the Hudson team was there, parents were able to drop off without the pressure of entertainment and crowd control falling on me and my husband exclusively Party coordination was so easy too. Castro Valley Soccer is completely uncommunicative and disorganized, and when we called them on it they refused to acknowledge our complaints and instead criticized my husband and 5-year-old son. Unbelievable. They wouldn't give us even a partial refund, even though we quit before the first game. Do not play soccer here!! We switched to another organization and my son LOVES it.
