This review is for the concierge lounge. Overall (A-) The food is really good at this lounge. Had lamb one evening and met the chef. The service is excellent also. The burgers are pretty good

Broken cup of coffee and terrible service.

Stayed here for a conference. The room was a decent size. The bathroom was small with little room to move. The valet parking garage was expensive and slow. The meeting rooms were nice. They have a good conference center on the 2nd floor. Service in the lounge was slow and the cup was cracked.. Took forever to get a cup of coffee. Unfortunately they use feather pillows of which I am allergic. When I asked the have the room defeathered, they brought up more feather pillows! I was more impressed with the meals that anything else. We had two luncheons and a banquet. Service was questionable but the food for the conference was delicious.

Above average customer service provided by Aretha and staff. Large hiccup w room request. I booked 2 rooms in advance w the request of adjoining room and extra towels. Show up to hotel and neither request displayed in system. Arrived at 4pm (check in time). Rec'd 2 rooms side by side w/o adjoining door. Disappointing but was better than the separate floors initially offered. We were given a token for inconvenience of waiting w additional hours. Token could have been much better for time wasted w the 4 of us being displaced but ok, I guess. Never rec'd extra towels as requested but that's water under the bridge. I do appreciate Aretha attempting to do her best of her ability to right the wrong. Rooms 646 and 648 (2 double rooms). Spacious, clean, comfy, in room fridge and quality toiletries. The rooms were definitely 5 out of 5 star quality. Clean hallways, 3 speedy elevators, connected garage, prime location. On-site restaurant bar, conference rooms, etc. I would definitely stay again.

    Not a practical location

Due to the chaos of the past couple weeks, the Florida National Guard was staying at the hotel and the regular guests were upgraded to make room. As a result, I was upgraded to The Indigo Suite. Sadly, the room was definitely style over function. For instance, someone thought it was a good idea to place the coffee maker on the one shelf not near an outlet. So I can make coffee in the morning, I had to move it elsewhere. Speaking of shelves, there were none in the bedroom. They were all in the combined living/dining room. The bed was sandwiched between two nightstands with an USB port and dual outlets above them. Although only one nightstand had a working outlet, the other had an alarm clock with dual outlets. So it did not end up being an inconvenience. I assume in the name of being eco-friendly, the shower had refillable canisters attached to the wall for shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. While it may work for shampoo and conditioner which seldom requires more than a single pump, it is a terrible idea for the shower gel. Its canister was barely a third full. Housekeeping did a terrible job at making sure these canisters were filled for the next guest. Remember when hotels would provide the useless shower caps? How much would a small bath sponge cost them? Rather than provide one to apply the shower gel, a small square towel was decoratively placed on a shower tray. It was a good thing I checked the folio prior to checkout. As my package included a $10 credit for food and beverage, I was surprised to see a charge for the snacks which I purchased from the pantry. I had to inform the front desk to remove the charge. Also, my package included a 6am early check in and a 6pm late check out, but the front desk had my check out for 2pm. For the cost of a night, I definitely expected more.

There are simply not enough stars to truly capture the wonderful experience that I've at the D.C Marriott at Georgetown. For starters let me give you a little context to help put things into perspective a bit. We are sponsoring a trip of nearly one hundred students. So while I anticipated that coordinating the keys for the visit would be a challenging experience. That was not the case at all. Lucy was wait for us at the doe ( insert the "How Bout Dahl" iconic MEME). She was sooo patient and kind with addressing the various unexpected occupant changes. It was such a great experience. Jessica was also a pleasure to work with when it came time for me to enter in my Bonvoy membership information. Super thankful for such a pleasant experience. Will reccomend all family and friends to check out this location. All other things considered Atmosphere - 5/5 Room Quality- 5/5 Parking - Chille it is DC

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in with regard to interior design and cleanliness. Our room was amazingly spotless and modern and the tv was the best I'd ever seen in a hotel room. The staff and employees were excellent. We did not experience any rude or offensive behavior. On the other hand, our bathroom in room 744 was very small. We had a two full-sized beds in our room. We had an outside room and the noise was ridiculous! With all the sirens and cars honking, it didn't seem like there was a wall between us and outside. Probably one of the worst night's sleep I've ever had. In addition, we requested an extra pillow and blanket and didn't get it until 50mins later. I probably would only stay here again if I couldn't find another hotel that met my standards at a cheaper price. I would only recommend this hotel to anyone who is a heavy sleeper.

Acura was nearly brand new at the time, had only about 1,500 miles on it.

Highly recommend staying elsewhere! I made the mistake of staying at this location for a week last month. The service was mostly good, but with one glaring problem- the hotel requires valet parking and that service is absolute trash! It is quite expensive and what you end up getting for that price is idiot valets eating food in your car and curbing your new rims. I found a half eaten sandwich in the passenger seat of my car when I picked it up one day, then at the end of my stay I found the curb rash where some moron ran my nearly brand new Acura up against a curb. I emailed the hotel general manager and she ignored my email entirely. I've been fighting with the useless idiots at Park America, the valet service, for over a month. Trying desperately to get compensated for this damage!

Too bad stored blankets were unavailable for sleepers wanting more warmth than their traveling companions. We had to make a second request for one. May I also suggest providing more than one bar of mini soap bars. It's such a minuscule cost item but would obviate having to repeatedly move the precious one bar from sink to shower. We found the valet staff particularly helpful especially when navigating awkward arrivals and parking needs of our personal guests. Sean was a prince. He supervised an otherwise complicated set of logistics with competence and gentlemanly grace. Another shout out to the manager ( sou?) of the breakfast dining. We watched him rigorously oversee staff and guests while occasionally stepping in when helpful. His leadership is likely responsible for the professionalism of said staff. This is in direct contrast to the staff of the Willard across the street where we took the first breakfast of our stay. We were dismayed to have to endure extremely loud staff socializing, boisterous laughter and downright flirting. This type of behavior would have been unacceptable at the JWMarriott. This experience alone confirms our future choice of Marriott over Willard for annual DC visits.

Traveling can be exhausting, and during our stay, my son Colin often went down to the bar and restaurant on his own in the evenings and mornings. The staff made sure he had what he needed, checked in on him naturally, and created an environment where he felt completely at ease. As a parent, that level of care is something you never forget. For me, the experience was just as special. Corey, the bartender, was exceptional. Each evening, he made sure I had exactly what I wanted, when I wanted it, and engaged in thoughtful, easy conversation that made the space feel welcoming and safe. It wasn't just service--it was connection, and it made a long, tiring trip feel restorative. This hotel doesn't just deliver luxury--it delivers humanity. The vibes are opulent- the Peacock Alley is located in the grand lobby, which is massive and airy with a glass ceiling overhead to let in tons of natural light. A harpist also set the mood beautifully, but they didn't stay for very long- they maybe stayed about 30 minutes past our 3:30pm tea appointment. Tea services are offered at 12:00 noon and 3:30pm. The central cherry blossom tree is the showstopper, and the main reason I chose the Waldorf for our afternoon tea. I had heard that there are several cherry blossom-themed afternoon teas all over DC that may have better food options, but this was the only one with decor this grand. My main concern was with our seating. I had called ahead of time to ask if they could accommodate my group to have a close seating location close to the cherry blossom tree due to our special occasion. The staff assured me during two separate calls that they would be able to accommodate our request, but upon getting seated, we were seated in the far corner by the bar. It is true that there is a fair view of the cherry blossom tree everywhere in the lobby, but I was disappointed at our far vantage point given the fact that I had called to confirm a close spot to the cherry blossom tree twice in advance. This is because I wanted to originally schedule the premium experience (premium seating, champagne, and fine china), but it was not available to groups larger than 4 and we were a group of 6. The service was otherwise perfectly fine and the portions of food were generous and tasty. We were all definitely full after finishing our savory bites. Our collective favorites were the chicken cherryaki and crab beignet bites, but we all appreciated the diverse offerings. We also had a friend with a peanut allergy dining with us, and they accommodated her easily by separating her pastries onto a separate tiered tray. It looks like the only item with a possible nut allergen was the crab beignet (her version had tofu). Despite the mild issues with seating, the experience was gorgeous. As a cherry blossom lover, I can see myself doing this every time I'm back in town. - Ambiance: 5/5 - Service: 4/5 - Food: 4/5
