First, I HATE going to the dentist(dental phobia??)! I'd rather get something operated on!…read more Well, i've been coming here for the last 5-6 years, I usually see Dr. Brendmoen, she is great and I will continue to see her. I've never once had a problem with her and she does make you feal at ease. I usually try to see her at the Lorton location, they have a newer office there with newer equipment. Well, I recently started having some bad pain in my jaw, I was able to call and be seen the same day. Apparently I needed a root canal then a crown. I would need to make a future appt. for both. I setup the root canal for a couple of weeks out, well the tylenol stopped working and I was in very bad pain during the nights. I did end up calling and they were able to get me in about 1.5 days later. Dr. Tupman did the root canal, this was my first root canal (and hopefully last), i was told my Dr. Tupman that I could still have pain for the next couple of days, well once i got home and the numbing meds wore off i felt 100% better. I did not need to take anymore pain meds. If you ask me, i think it is the dentist that made the difference, i think it's very easy to screw up drilling out your nerves! The staff is also very friendly.

Going to the dentist is never fun, so I can't go that far in this review, but I am writing a second…read morereview for this practice because it is far and away the best dental office I have ever been in. I was seen on the dot of my appointment, no waiting. The office is clean and organized, and the administrative assistants at the front desk are very helpful, and frankly, way too bright first thing in the morning, but in a good way. The hygenist (Beth again, yay!) was very funny and friendly, which I found relaxing, despite my extreme dentalworkaphobia. All my questions were answered, and I always leave with the sure feeling that my dental health is in very good hands.

It's hard to rate a dentist- either it's a really great or a horrible experience. Fortunately, my…read moreexperience here was fantastic. Type of care (5/5): I was referred to Prestige by my local dentist and I was not disappointed. I had a massive toothache which was not resolving and came here on a snowy day. After a comprehensive exam and x-ray, I was told I had to have a complete tooth extraction (the entire root was corroded so a root canal was not possible. ) Fortunately, Dr. Eddie had a cancellation due to the snow, so he was able to get my tooth pulled that day! I opted for the nitrous gas because I have a bit of anxiety around teeth stuff and my teeth are extra sensitive. I was hoping I could sleep but the gas really just made me happy and less nervous. The extraction went well and then the series of appointments to check on the site, then the hole to be drilled to place the implant. I was not ready for the drill, but the nitrous gas helped! Care quality (5/5): Every time I've been there, I feel like they have been attentive and caring towards me. Even when I had to be called back for another scan, they gave me a cute complimentary mug because they felt badly about this. My one year check up for my implant went well. I'm really satisfied with my care here. Office experience (5/5): They were really nice here. I was explained my bill throughly. I was a bit annoyed that I had to pay $150 for the mandatory one year visit because I no longer had my dental insurance but that wasn't necessarily their fault.

I had a great experience. The staff was kind and considerate and very courteous. Dr. Sidor was…read moreawesome.

I reached out to them in search of an Emergency dentist My own dentist was closed and reached out to her office for emergency help before Virginia decided to go into lockdown. Facing many uncertainties like many people I wanted to get my tooth looked at prior this. Because who wants to be in lockdown with an infected tooth? She seemed friendly enough and asked me if I was in pain. I said yes. Her tech took me back for X-Rays. Her tech/assistant seemed to be highly uncomfortable the entire time. I sat in the chair. Dr. Lu came and gave her assessment of my teeth. At first I was relieved to know that I would be getting the help I needed! After looking at my teeth, she states everything that's wrong and which teeth. Great. Okay were in business Then she says, "Well your mouth is very dirty. There's no point in cleaning your mouth because its so dirty and full of bacteria." I reply, "Okay, so how can you help me?" (At this point I'm waiting for the plan of action of how she can actually help me....) She replies, "Well, you need a deep cleaning your mouth is too dirty to work on." Now I'm thinking to myself okay where is this going? I'm in a lot of pain, I came to get help, so basically your telling me, you can't do your job... After another round of telling me that my mouth is "full of bacteria" I decided I've had enough. I get up and leave. There was no offer for antibiotics, pain killer, or even where to do get a deep cleaning. I was so upset I cried in my car. It's very hard for me to make time to get to the dentist as I'm a teacher at the Del Ray Montessori School. We were short staffed for the past few months so personal appointments were not available with my regular dentist on the weekends when I'm free. I am shocked that Dr. Lu has a professional license or any professional standing with the ADA. Her bedside manner was deplorable, tactless, and insensitive. Save your money and seriously don't come here.
