    Woodside Manor Apartments

Hello, I don't recommend Woodside Manor Apartments to rent. The property manager Margie had retired…read moreand a new management company took over in 2020. Rent increases was only around $10-$20 per year when Margie was working here. In the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic where alot of people have been displaced from their positions in the workplace. The new management company raised our rent for a lease renewal to over $100 without any type of warning. You also have to pay a $35 surcharge for water in a 1 bedroom and if you want a 2 bedroom apartment you must pay $45 extra for water. We always had free heat and water until the new management company took over. The apartments are old fashioned and out of date. The kitchen and bathrooms are not modern floors and appliances/ cabinets are decades old . Also, doing laundry here SUCKS because you have to go in the basement to wash and dry your clothes we only have 1 washer and 1 dryer for 8 apartments. Then you have to wait on other people to finish washing when they don't come get their clothes on time, which is a nuisance. Very inconvenient to do laundry here. A modern apartment building will have the washer and dryer inside of the apartment. When you put in a maintenance request the leasing office and maintenance man refuses to replace things. Despite the same item breaking down all the time from being decades old. They only have 1 maintenance guy for the whole complex and you don't get 24 hour maintenance like you do with some luxury complexes. The old hot water tank goes out and then you have to wait days for it to be repaired. They also have people that live here with out of control teenagers and kids. I've went to my car and find people playing tennis on the apartment brick exterior next to people cars. One time a tennis ball hit my vehicle really hard. Also, pretty disgusting neighbors in some buildings. Someone was bleeding and left blood on 2 doors the entrance door and the 2nd door that requires a key to open. Both doors had it on there and when I ordered a package UPS pointed it out to me and said it was disgusting. I was so embarrassed. I called the leasing office and they sent maintenance to clean one door and the other door wasn't cleaned off. Maintenance had to come back again. That is hazardous to a tenant health. They want to start charging us over $800 for a 1 bedroom and over $1,000 for a 2 bedroom. This place isn't worth expensive rent. Do you want your leasing office to increase your rent to $100 and continue to increase every year leaving you powerless? There's no benefits to living here because these apartments don't come with any luxury amenities. I hope this review helps. Have A Nice Day

This is senior living and taking advantages of seniors when it comes to not making important things clear at the beginning of a lease is really a form of elder abuse. Living there was fine. Repairs were completed, but slow at times. The units are nice and the facility has a lot to offer. Just read the lease carefully, even if you need help.

The one bedroom units are 702 sq. feet and the 2 bedroom units are 1,028 sqft. All leases are 1 year. Our buildings boast a beauty/barber shop, library, wellness & activity room, and a party room.
