WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?? It's not so much the individual employees as much as the bank (I have 3 friends who work for them)- but this bank SUCKS.. They really don't care about their customers. I'm moving to Bank of America as of a few hours ago. Citizens will 'universal default' your credit if you have ONE issue on your report- even though you have paid every single bill of theirs on time. then they continue to look at your credit reports and while it's ok to penalize you for errors that weren't even yours or related to their company in ANY way, won't re-instate your original limit and low apr.. The outside of the bank is pretty vanilla and plain. Inside it is very clean and modern. Lots of glass and a soft color palate. The interior is one of the nicest bank interiors I have ever been in! Imagine my surprise! I went to sit with one of the people in the booth. They called the main line of Chase. On the phone call I was told that it was closed because they needed 'verbal confirmation' it was me. I said 'It's me. I am sitting here with one of your coworkers and he has verified all my ID.' The woman on the phone said that was NOT enough! So they closed the account. Without my knowledge, they shut the account and mailed me a check. I was not home so the check sat in front on my apartment door until I got home. So blessed that no one stole the check sitting in front of my apartment door. Went to Bank of America and Phillip treated with respect. Do not let this bank Chase you. I am looking into reporting them.

Washing Trust has been a great local bank so this might be…read morehard to believe, I still can't believe a stop check to a contractor for house repairs did not work; even though the bank helpers on the phone promised me it was all set. With a "Docusign" to make sure the check could not be cashed in the future. The charge:30 $ A week later a letter came from the bank saying the check bounced and there was a fee for 25 $ Upon calling about this, the banker said this needs a call back. When they called back they said there had been a typo or error in the check number that was entered in ? All the info was there the contractor name, the exact amount 695 $ Can't believe a bank typo error on the check #(1 digit off) would make a garrentee from all the nice people on the phone disappear. So this was my fault I was told ?? WOW The account bounced two more small checks ... and there were two more 25$ fees and the account came down a lot from the banks failure to honor what its agents said and expected thenselfs; even the guy who did the whole thing wen to bat for the situation and what happened, he knew it was a BANK ERROR The branch Manager that handes my accounts there, basically hung up on me too, when I called to check on the status of their upper management decision. Shocking a bank that says it is for its customers and is a protector of people's resources trusted unto to them, Don't believe it, they'll take your account down with a lack of ability in doing a simple stop payment ?
