So my great husband surprised me by taking me to Santa Barbara for the day and then the cherry on top was that he hired a photographer, Mike, for a private photo shoot by the beach. Mike was extremely professional. He showed up on time and suggested a few locations along the coast, one of which was the Butterfly Beach and it was the perfect spot. He had all of his gear with him, and got right down to business. He is such a visionary and we immediately knew he's a true pro because he would see a rock and would guide us in positioning ourselves in a way that the pose looks both nice and natural at the same time. Photo shoots can sometimes feel a bit forced and a drag but not with Mike. He was talking to us and sharing stories with us the whole time. It was both entertaining and made the whole experience a lot more relaxed and natural. And the cherry on top was that we got all of our photos back within days so the thrill of that experience was still fresh and we were so delighted once we saw the finished photos. He captures amazing and authentic moments. I highly highly recommend Mike to anyone that wants a photo shoot for literary anything. We already know that Mike will do our baby's photo shoot once he's born and all the other previous times in our lives we would like to be captured.

At the behest of the executive producer, MKC Photography was hired by the production to provide behind-the-scenes photography. First and foremost, the quality of images we received is second to none. Edited images were delivered in a timely manner. In fact, the photos were finished way before the music video! In regards to our specific collaboration, what really set Michael apart (i.e. what makes him beyond invaluable) was his kind and generous spirit. He was very patient with us, the production. Personally, I deeply appreciated that behavior. In this current landscape where just about anyone can pick up a camera and call themselves a photographer, MKC is a consummate professional. Oh and his replies are typically very fast, which I also appreciate! Our needs for his services were rather specific; this is true. I met Melissa through my friends that also had her photograph their weddings. When I saw the quality of her photos, I knew immediately that I wanted her for my future wedding. I also did my medical school graduation photos with her and I'm so happy I did! The photos came out amazing. Years later, I met the man of my dreams, got engaged, and found myself excited to plan my wedding. I knew Melissa was going to be one of my first vendor phone calls. From the beginning, she was professional and easy to communicate with. Initially, my fiance and I opted out of the engagement photos part of the package because we had wonderful proposal photos taken by family but we ended up changing our mind and adding it into the package. She allowed us to do so without an issue. We are so glad we did! We weren't sure where to do the photos and she ended up giving us wonderful recommendations. We LOVE our engagement photos. Throughout the wedding process, we felt very taken care of by Melissa. She had us answer questions so she could determine what was important to us and what parts of the wedding was especially important to capture. She was also able to answer all our questions as well. Not a good first impression We were told we had to go here…read morefor senior/Yearbook pictures. I filled out the paperwork and inquired about a later appointment for a senior portrait session and was told that was not possible; it had to be fone now. We took a seat to wait. A bit later, the receptionist brought me another paper saying they lost my first one (within the less than 10 minutes we were there)! Meanwhile, people who entered after us were being called back to take their photos. At least the photographer was pleasant. We'll see how the photos turn out.

When we drove up we didn't see it at first since it's a small building, but once we hit that u-turn we were able to see it. We were prompt and came at the correct time of our appointment, but when we got there they were shooting a students picture and there was another student waiting inside. We probably waited about 10-15 min before they started on my son's photo shoot, but that's not bad considering other places take longer. The guys taking the pictures were pretty quick. They took him to different areas of the lot to get different backgrounds and poses. Several of my son's pictures came out good and I loved them. The guys were professional and very polite. I was in shock to see some of the negative reviews only because we were treated very well. The gal inside was super friendly also and communicated to us that there was another student in front of my son and was informative on how the ordering was going to be like and what to expect when the pictures were done. I really liked this place. If you're trying to find it, don't drive too fast or you'll miss it like we did. There's not a huge amount of parking space, so just know it's limiting parking and make sure to come at your scheduled time so you don't mess with someone else's photo shoot. I'm glad Stockdale High School was able to get this company, I liked the way the staff was and their professionalism. I would recommend them!

Going through the whole wedding vendor and planning process was stressful. It felt like every vendor really cared about you until they got your money but Rubi was totally different. She made us feel like her friends. She genuinely cared about us the entire time and never made us feel like just clients. Her work is gorgeous. It speaks for itself. Once I saw her photos from a friends wedding who Rubi was the photographer for, I knew we had to work with her and honestly, it was one of the best decisions we made during our planning process.
