From the home office in texas to the home office in Clarksville tn, to the drivers and all other personnel, these people are just very rude and dismissive. I was with this company for over 7 years and every time I called them they just exude rudeness and disrespect. Snowstorm on monday feb 17th 2025 (by Clarksville standards) but by the next day all roads was clear, my pickup is on Wednesday and they did not pick up so I figured they will get it on Thursday again no pickup, so maybe friday and still no pickup. Tried calling office to no avail because as I found out later they were closed both Thursday and Friday. Fast forward to Monday morning when I called to see when if ever they were going to pickup and of course ask for a refund for the previous week when the lady that answered the phone very rudely told me that because they hadn't picked up trash in almost 2 weeks will pick up anything around the trash can on the ground but because I wanted a refund all my trash will need to be inside the can and I told her it would be no problem just process my refund. Wednesday came and no pickup but by the time I realized they hadn't picked up it was too late to call, So The last and final time I called them was Thursday feb 27th 2025 to tell them that their drivers had dropped some of my trash from the can and left it in the street Also ran over it when leaving, I point this out to my wife and she told me they had someone walking along side the big truck picking up all the trash outside of my neighbors cans (because it been 2 weeks) all my trash was stacked nicely on top of the can and yet they managed to leave trash in front of my house. I talked to another lady who told me they would have to look at the truck camera to see if all my trash was in the can, no problem to me because i know it was. A guy named Vernon called me and told me that my trash was not like I know it was and that all trash should be inside a bag which I told him that if they would have picked up the trash on the day it was supposed to be picked up this wouldn't even be a issue, I started to say that the streets were clear and he cut me off with "I don't give a damn how your streets were at the time" then hung up as I was telling him that I will be looking at other companies in the area. I don't believe any customer of any business should be treated in this matter and I called their home office to file a formal complaint as well as the better business bureau. A couple of hours later Vernon called and left a message that his home office in Texas said to cancel me which in my opinion if true they (the home office) don't even value customers. read more

Tencarva just started using the service and I have to say they are second rate at best. This is the second time their trash truck has leaked hydraulic oil all over our parking lot. When we called we were told "well what do you expect us to do about it". Avoid this company at all cost. No customer service what do ever. Very disappointed. read more

She basically called him a lier and said we had not left the can out . When he explained to her we always leave it out the day before , she said we'll the driver said there was no can out . We've been using them for 2years now and so far no real issues. We had a problem with them knocking over the trash can after pick up, which I get, the trucks are huge, they are taking steps to try and not Knock it over. Honestly I didn't care about until I broke my foot and it tipped over in front of the driveway. I had to hobble down and move it before the plumber came over. I'm also going to try and move it to the left of my driveway more to see if that helps as well so the driver doesn't have to maneuver the truck in a way that he or she has to back up instead of leaving the cul-de-sac in one turn. Since Airborne Disposal changed hands...look elsewhere! The agreement had always been to pickup the trash bin AND up to two additional bags placed outside next to the bin. My extras were pushed aside and ignored today; called and the company said that since THEY acquired Airborne...there was no additional bag service ....still same price and rate increases but less service! NO STARS! Why is this company not on the military's black list of company to avoid? Moving... Last month of service, July 2020. Today, August 10, 2020, we go the call that we were being turned over to debt collection. When we settled up, paid July online, as always, and confirmed with an empty-headed, half-wit named Teresa, that we no longer needed the service. We've used this shoddy company for years. I originally signed a 13 month contract with Airborne disposal. They, unfortunately, sold to Waste Connections. When 12 months passed I was told they were not honoring the 13th month agreement that was made for paying for he year in advance. I immediately cancelled my services. Since then I've been receiving bills for there service even when I don't have there cans at my residence. Every time I call I get told that there were late fees that kept my account active. This has been going on now for 7 months. The most recent time I called I was told (by a very rude receptionist) they could not delete my information from their system so this doesn't happen again. As I was asking why she hung up on me.... I guess I'll get to find out when their next "bill" comes in the mail. read more

I'm extremely disappointed by the length of time it has taken to get a refund after I moved and cancelled my service. I have been a customer since 2006 and at the end of March 2015 I called the Clarksville, TN office to cancel my service and get a refund since I had just paid for service for the quarter. The girl I spoke with told me that it wouldn't be a problem, took my new address and said it would be 2.5 weeks. Fast-forward to the end of April, after the dust from the move settled, I realized that I still had not received the refund. I called the office again on April 18 (4 weeks later) and spoke to a different girl who informed me that the girl I spoke to in March about my refund no longer worked there and she hadn't sent out my refund for processing. The girl I spoke to this time said that she would process it that day and I would get the check in 2.5 weeks. She reconfirmed my new address and I thought the refund would be on its way. Fast forward to May 18 (4 weeks later), still no refund? Ok this is starting to get a little ridiculous. I call the office again and speak to Renee. She told me that with all the winter weather and storms, some of the refunds were returned to the office because of damage to the P.O. Box. She said she would talk to her "Controller" to see if she could push out the refund that afternoon. After waiting on hold for 9 minutes for her to check with the Controller", Renee assured me that in 2.5 weeks I would have my refund check. Fast-forward to June 8 (3 weeks later), still no refund!!! AGAIN, I call the office and speak to Kayla to again inquire about my refund. She informed me that with the weather back in April some of the checks were returned to the office. I explained to her that I already heard about the weather and Renee (who I spoke with in May) told me the controller said the check would be sent out on May 18. Kayla informed me that "Renee no longer worked there and they are REALLY busy right now and trying to get refunds out as soon as they can." OK at this point; it's time to ask for a supervisor. Kayla informs me "The supervisor who handles refunds is on vacation" I asked to speak to the manager of the Clarksville location, she told me he had gone home for the day. I asked her to have him, or any supervisor call me the next morning as soon as they opened. Fast-forward to June 9, no call from a supervisor this morning, huge surprise. I waited till my lunch break to call the office and Kayla answered the phone. I asked her if I could speak to supervisor now. She said he was "at lunch" and would call me back as soon as he got back. I was going to be in class all afternoon so I told her to have him call me at 3:15 when I got out of class. Kayla told me she would. Perfect. Fast-forward to 3:45, STILL no call from a supervisor. I called the office again and low and behold RENEE answered the phone (Kayla had JUST told me the day before she no longer worked there). I told Renee that a supervisor was supposed to call me at 3:15 and I still hadn't heard anything from him. She told me that the "operations manager" wouldn't know anything about my refund and I needed to talk to the "controller" who was "on vacation". I told her that was unacceptable and I needed to talk to a supervisor. She told me that Jennifer, a controller was in the office and I could talk to her. She said refunds come from Texas so they have to be processed and sent from there and she would get on my refund as soon as we got off the phone and I would get it in..... 2.5 weeks. Just a final update - I got my refund...December 23, 2015 - a full 9 months after I initially requested the refund. Good thing the weather didn't slow it down again! read more

We recently moved into a rental house in Clarksville and the Waste Connections was the previous tenants trash service. After living in the house for a week the can was still at the corner full of garbage. I called to have them come and remove it. A week later the can was still at the corner of the house. I called again and asked them to remove it, the company was so unprofessional that when they came and took the trash can they took the previous renters trash out of the can and put in in my yard. read more

Worst experience ever! I was only able to be in service with them for 5 months because I had enough of having to call them that my trash wasn't being picked up. In the 5 short months, they didn't pick up 7 times. I called last Monday to cancel and left the empty trash bin out on the curb for pick up in 2-3 days; 7 days later the trash bin is still on my curb. I called again and (not surprised) they said that the service was still running. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Clarksville Disposal to anyone I like. read more

Had to cancel and that is the problem. Was told that can would be removed 5-10 days after last pickup (27 Feb). 30 March and I still have it in front yard. Every excuse in the book, no driver, snow, they are behind. Call after call does no good. Saying they are working on it. I would not recommend this service to anyone. Find another garbage collector, absolutely the worst for a paid service. They will miss your scheduled garbage pickup and when notified about it it will take another 2-4 days for them to come pick it up. we also had a can that they broke the wheel off of and it took over a month for them to replace the can even though I called as soon as I saw it. Just today they didn't pick up my trash cause it was heavy, the guy just shook the can and then motioned for the driver to go as I tried to get them to stop. Don't waist your money on this garbage collection service. read more

The service stinks (you can read all about it on their Google, BBB and YP reviews), but here is the real issue. They lock you into a 5 year contract which auto renews for another 5 years (and good luck canceling the second 5 years as you need to send a certified letter within a very narrow window!). Then they escalate their fees 17.5% a year! REALLY. Where are the class action lawyers when they are really needed. read more
