First up was the cheesesteak, and it was easily one of the best I've had around. I started with a incredible Liscio's seeded roll straight out of New Jersey, which already puts it in a different league. The meat was perfectly seasoned, the onions were sweet and beautifully caramelized, and the cheese was melted throughout the entire sandwich instead of just slapped on top like some places do. Every bite was balanced, rich, and exactly what a proper cheesesteak should be. I also grabbed an Italian sub to split with a close friend, and it was just as impressive. They use top-quality Boar's Head meats and cheeses, and the Italian had all the classics -- capicola, mortadella, and Genoa salami -- layered perfectly. I added sweet peppers which brought a great little pop of flavor, but honestly it would have been amazing even without them. You can tell Bazil's cares about quality and doing things the right way. Didn't taste too bad but not my idea of home fried potato's. At first glance i was shocked. This gravy was no where close to white in color, It was more of a greyish brown, there were some large chunks of what they said was sausage in there but when i looked close they were sort of pink in color and did not have much flavor at all. Hardees has way better biscuits and gravy and that's pathetic. Now this was just an ongoing experiment of a friend of mine of trying to fine one place in Salisbury that has good breakfast food. But this place as far as value or quality goes was not even deserving of being on any list. As opinions vary, i am sure there are some people out there that enjoy this food and service. He ended up winning the "Grand Prize " which is a 1:2 bushel of crabs which they are sending to our home to enjoy!
