    50s-style ice cream shop.

Nice neighborhood diner. We arrived and picked up a couple menus and seated ourselves since no one was at the front when we walked in. A minute or two and our server took our drink order. They fill the glass with nearly snowball style ice and water. Mostly ice so if you drink a lot tell them a little ice. We ordered a cream of crab, house made shrimp salad and a crab cake. All tasted homemade. The shrimp salad was a fair amount, not great but ok. The crab cake was flavorful and had a good amount of crab in it and so did the soup. When we go back there we will probably try someplace else but this is definitely worth returning to try something else like their fried chicken. They also have a 50s style ice cream shop attached that looks authentic.

Came back on our last night in Crisfield and we weren't disappointed! I am so going to miss the freshness of these crab cakes! Dan ordered the stuffed flounder and shockingly he could not finish! Good service and the cafe meets our needs and more!

    Four per plate.

Super friendly staff. Truly at the water's edge. Next to the gazebo pier. Classic cafe with clean tucked and pleated pleather booths. Soft crab hit the spot, but could use more seasoning. Coleslaw fresh and tasty. Mac and cheese has good flavor. There was a bit of oil separation in the cheese sauce. I'd go back if anything for the hospitality.

We split the crab chowder, which was very tasty! And then I had a fried haddock sandwich with a side caesar salad. I really liked my sandwich. It was perfectly battered and fried. My husband had the crab cake sandwich and a side of the scratch corn. The crabcake was good, but the scratch corn was too greasy for our taste. Overall, the food was really good, and the water view is really nice. Great place for a meal! Side note: their cakes looked incredible, but we didn't try them this time. I would definitely consider going back for a slice of cake.
