Wife and I stopped in on a Monday afternoon never being there before. We hit decorah 2-3 times a year and have decided this will be a usual stop while in town. We shared a couple sandwiches one a recommendation of either the owner or employee, a turkey sandwich which was very good. However, the pastrami sandwich was by far the best pastrami Sandi both my wife and I myself have ever had. The pastrami itself was freaking amazing! The bread was a perfect complement and the mustard was what pulled it all together. Super simple but the superior ingredients used really just set it apart from your avg simple sandwiches. Really disappointed with the sandwich I ordered from this deli. Literally one of the worst sandwiches I've ever eaten. The ingredients used on the sandwich are subpar, regular bread and no flavor. I definitely won't be eating here. They need to know how to build a sandwich; how you lay meats on the bread to give it a nice airy texture, not a block of ham slices, laid flat.
