We used a company that has been around since 1968 doing everything for a home from remodeling to building. Our roof was done by them about 7-8 years ago. During that time we had issues of leakage in the sunroom and living room, shingles came off from light wind and last night was the worst. All other neighbors didn't have that used another company. Based on this experience, I DO NOT recommend using Weather Tek in Dunellen, NJ. I hope they don't have any involvement in the new complex being built near the Dunellen train station. If they do, run!! You don't need the headache.

The only reason I gave 4 stars was because they asked me for a deposit in August saying the work will be done late September. In September, they then told me it would not be until October. As October came around, I followed up with them again. This time, they told me they had not received a deposit from me (meanwhile the check was deposited in August). On top of that, they were annoyed that I had called multiple times. Eventually, it was all sorted out and the work was done beginning of November.

There was a concrete slab where the driveway meets the garage which we needed cut because of a crack. It was supposed to be a straight cut but they jack hammered two of the corners off so it's not straight across the slab. Also, the remaining portion of the slab cracked, I assume from the use of the jack hammer. 2. Even though the garage doors were closed, every inch of my garage was covered with a fine concrete dust. I probably could have done something to minimized this if I knew it was going to happen. 3. The heavy paving equipment chipped the sidewalk at the base of the driveway. 4. As the homeowner, I was periodically checking the progress and was curious about the job. About an hour or two into the work, I got a call from their office asking me if I thought the workers were trying to "cheat" me because apparently I was watching them too much. I did not appreciate the tone of the call and it was not a good way to gain my confidence.

When I told her to keep me on the schedule for now while I decided and get the area ready for them, she snapped at me, said "that's not how we do business, call when you're ready," and hung up on me. Then I called back to report her to the owner; while their work might be good, this person is just nasty, and if she is the only person you're allowed to talk here, I'm better off taking my business elsewhere, in case something else needs to be discussed with something else regarding the job.
