After Primo Water acquired Alhambra, I needed to find a new water delivery service. Based on the reviews, Water World seemed like a promising alternative. Unfortunately, my experience was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. It took over a month just to get my deliveries established and running consistently. Once deliveries finally began, I encountered ongoing billing issues. The company repeatedly withdrew money from my bank account, sometimes totaling more than $300 in charges. Whenever I questioned the charges, they pointed to a long list of junk fees. I've never seen so many junk fees on an invoice, especially considering they already charge $17.99 per bottle of water. To make matters worse, I was charged for water that was never delivered. Trying to resolve these issues was nearly impossible because it was extremely difficult to reach someone who had the time or ability to review my account and explain what was happening. Reliable delivery, accurate billing, and responsive customer service are the bare minimum expectations for a water delivery company. Unfortunately, Water World fell short in all three areas. I cannot recommend this company, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering their service to carefully monitor their invoices and bank account for discrepancies. read more

I've been using Water World for a few months now and I'm so happy for with the service! When we run low (1-2 bottles) we just shoot them a text asking for more water and they add us in within 3 business days. This time we texted them on Monday (yesterday) and they just added us in for the very next day. They send us a text to give us a heads up when they're coming so we're ready. All I do is leave the empty bottles out by my door and by the end of the day it's swapped out with new filled bottles. Super quick delivery! Price truly is the lowest I've seen in San Jose and they've never missed a delivery for me. It's not a contract agreement so they're flexible on your needs. I originally ordered service in November 2022 and from that first attempt, have had a disappointing experience. To start, my "guarantee 3 day delivery", did not show up, even though the company had withdrawn the funds! I was told they had a "large order requiring all their delivery drivers" and were unable to fill my order in a timely fashion and would receive a free refill. I JUST ordered a second deliver and was once again charged for a delivery that has NOT arrived in a timely manner. My initial order came with an item I did NOT REQUEST and had to be retrieved, and I am once again disappointed with their current service and failure to fulfill their company guarantees. Water world has been a life saver. My elderly aunty prefers getting the bottled filter water and water world's service really helped out. After starting service with them, we quickly received a welcome text message & our service started. In the next few days our bottle water came! I want someone to speak with but their business model uses text communication. I have to plead to have someone call me. Roger walked me through the process of signing up and stayed on the phone while I completed my Welcome Form. The water was delivered by Wednesday, which is such a quick turnaround. Unfortunately, one of the gallons was cracked so I contacted them on Thursday. We have had water world delivering to our company for many years. We just moved locations and only have room for 2 jugs of water. Water world will no longer service our company because we do not have 6 water jugs at our small office location. We never had a problem before with having only 2/3 jugs at a time and now its such an issue. The customer service representative was not helpful. I asked for the Manager twice and he would not transfer me insisted he could handle it. But, kept giving me the same run around that we must have 6 bottles at our location. I've had this service for a little while now and I can concur with some of the other reviews that the service starts off great and slowly diminishes over time. I see some of the other post stating that they will bill you anyway when you're in possession of their bottles even when no service has been provided, their responsiveness begins to dwindle, and they text you last minute to have the bottles out, sometimes not even showing up for days.... All true if you ask me. Not to mention that prices have gone up substantially in the last year. It's great water and all, but they really need to get with the customer service. I'm hoping this review will get their attention because I've been trying to change my billing email address for over 4 months so I can see my bill and they keep saying they will change it but don't. I signed up with Water World after some terrible experiences with a couple of other water delivery services. This was late on a Friday night, and my previous service had left me high and dry. I told this to the Water World associate and he had all the water I ordered at my front door the next day, with no extra fee for the rushed service. I didn't think any water delivery services operated on Saturdays, so that set them apart. They charge about the same as the other services for each 5 gallon jug of water, but the other services all charge a delivery fee every time they come to your door. The fact that it'd save me money made my decision to try their service easy. I was apprehensive about whether the less expensive service would match the quality of water I was used to, but, yes, their water tastes just as great as the more expensive company's. read more

Aggressive sales rep sends you a google sheet and waits in the phone for you to fill it in. Not a secure place to put your credit card info. In that sheet, you confirm your start date and number of bottles. However, this sheet is ignored and your bottles never arrive. You try and call but it turns out you can only get on the phone if you're canceling the service or registering as a new customer. Turns out you have to text. You can send texts, it takes hours for any response. No confirmation those texts were read or received. The bottles arrive. They're scuffed, look ancient. Some are missing the stickers on top, going with the theme that corners are cut to make a quick buck. Finally, the water itself. The most important piece. Tastes like straight from the tap. One star. Through home and business I've tried 2 other local water services, and they both get it right! It's not that hard. read more
