I really liked this car wash. And it was free. There were some streaks, but I've never not had that happen at a drive through a car wash. But I will say there were much fewer streaks. I like the drying towels at the end that don't leave your car still dripping. The equipment outside is great. I got the best vacuum that my car has had. The lady at the machine was very helpful too. Got a free car wash coupon and wanted to try it out after moving from northern CA where we have the lovely Quick Quack. The worker was nice but after going through the wash I decided to look at my car to see how it did. Bugs on windshield and front bumper and my tires looked HORRIBLE. I have a newer car (Purchased Jan) and it wasn't even that dirty before I went though but somehow that tire shine just covered them in dirt. Customer service tried to make it right and said I could talk to attendant but after looking at reviews of other people's tires and potential damage to rims, I decided to take the loss. Visiting town and a little time to pass so decided to wash my car. I usually go to SurfThru but they were closed. Didn't know what to expect except a better wash. I purchased the $14 and expected more as it was the top/expensive wash. It seems like my car was just watered down, barely covered with soap and rinsed, then air dried. My tire came out dirtier and spots were still noticeable. I'm on a time crunch so I just brushed it off as no biggie. I also noticed the car in front of me while getting the spinning cloth to dry the car- only the left side spinner was actually touching the car. The top and right were inches away still, spinning away but not touching the vehicle. From the self-help to vacuuming, no employee was there to greet or offer to assist. They were just minding their own business aside from being guided into the belt (to place car in neutral) and hand out the powder fragrance and wipes. Tried to purchase extra items to clean car and air freshener. Popped in $5 into the machine and got the $3 spray and with my leftover $2 tried to purchase 2 additional air fresheners. NOTHING was coming out. Frustrated since I saw no one, I just took the loss and decided to clean up my car before the water dried up. I've had problems with machines at SurfThru but the manager was ALWAYS there to assist any needs. If my car had a spot or 2 that was missed, they would ask if I wanted to run my car through again. I know better now. Also, tried to enter/use the women's restroom but I guess a key is needed. No signage indicating a key is required which would be helpful. My son had to use the restroom (we came from out of town) so I assumed that the women's restroom was occupied. About 10 mins passed after vacuuming and drying the car, tried to open the women's restroom again with no luck. We quickly went to the men's restroom . As we were buckled up and ready to go, finally saw a woman who worked there with a key in hand unlocking the women's restroom. I've frequented SurfThru when we lived in town and now frequent another place in Long Beach. Both were exceptional as there was always someone attentive to any needs and the wash was worth the $$$. However, buying the best doesn't equal the most. Not sure how the other washes come out though so please don't take my word for the other 2 wash services offered. read more

Recently brought a new vehicle here and unfortunately one of the attendees used a bristle brush on the hood of my car and scratched the hood leaving swirls marks on it as soon as I realized he was using that and not a micro fiber I stopped him but it was already too late. The BEST car wash I've ever had.....seriously! My SUV was super dirty and I was convinced all of the dirt probably wouldn't come off. After the wash, the windows wiped off with NO streaks. My car was wiped dry within minutes, and shined as if it had just been waxed. I went through the car wash over a week ago and my car is still shiny and the windows as clean as ever. Usually, after a car is washed the windows have spots on them... Not with this wash. Highly recommend going to this car wash! read more

The owner contacted me and explained the transition, how I could convert prepaid discount tickets and even offered me a free deluxe wash as consolation. Very good business, great service and outstanding care for customer satisfaction! Went a couple days ago to get a car wash at 830 am my card wouldn't read so I tried another card. Both cards wouldn't work. The manager Edith tried them both an still no luck She was so freaking kindly to give me a free wash. All the staff was extremely friendly . Wow, it's hard to not give this place anything lower than a perfect 5 stars because I have always had exceptional service and a squeaky clean car inside and out that smells brand new! My homegirl Liz told me about this place and I wasn't sure about it because my go-to car wash was myself doing it at home or a car wash at Costco. However, I gave it a chance and I even loved it so much, I bought their 5 Ultimate Washes for $35 deal (normally, an ultimate wash is $10 but this reduces it to $7 each). Everyone I have rolled up to has been courteous and goes to put on a cover for the back window wiper. I love the flashing colorful lights while my car is in neutral going through the wash as well as the part where I can vacuum my car with their high suction vacs. This place shits on Costco in car washes and the tire shine here lasts so long! Definitely a frequent regular of this place so don't be surprised to see me come through :P read more

We came here for a car wash after our tree dropped tiny bits of sticky syrup all over the car. We paid for the $8 wash and it didn't touch the sticky stuff. We talked to the manager and he said we needed the $12 wash. He would not give us credit for the $8 we already paid! So we pay $12 more, because he said "it will take it off", and again, the soap they use didn't touch the problem. The stuff on my car is not like a pine tree or anything. It's just like sticky water. The manager says sorry. We pointed out that we did what was advised and it didn't have an effect? At this point we could've gone to a regular car wash and been treated properly and this would've been resolved. He offered us a basic free car wash for next time. I'm definitely not coming back here. The customer service is anemic and not genuine at all. I will say that the facilities are clean but some of the vacuums are broken. They do have compressed air to blow out the cracks where water hides. I don't think this place has a good product, in terms of the chemicals they used to clean the cars. I would just rather pay for a regular car wash and get my car looking how I expect it to look after a car wash. read more

Do not take your car here! My car was completely scratched after the car wash. I asked to speak to a manager and they said she would have to call me the next day. 3 days later and no call. Finally, I went in a second time, and was able to get Carla to give me a call. She said that the scratches where not from the car wash because she's apparently a brush expert and their brushes don't scratch in that direction. I asked her to see the footage of my car before the car wash to see that there was no damage prior, but she said the image was too blurry, I'm sure that's a lie. I'll be going back demanding to see the footage. My car was fine before the wash, literally they messed up my brand new car and did nothing to help. read more

I go here at least 5 times a month to get my truck washed 2013 Chevy Silverado. For some reason the driver side never gets cleaned and the chamois at the end never hits that side either. The windshield is always streaked by the long curtain that drags across the truck. The passenger side never gets the mirror either because it flips it back against the window. Seems like the system needs to be centered and adjusted. Maybe even clean or change the clothes that touch the vehicles. How often is this system maintained. Not too impressed because I always have to double wipe it down and blow all the residual soap out off the mirrors and crevices. Seems like there could be a better rinse job/more water. I hope this helps cuz I like a clean truck. read more
