Total scam. Wish I could give zero stars. Got in a full blown fight with the guy with longish hair (possibly the owner) because he told me it would be $60 to "detail" the outside of my RV. Well, I watched as they only rinsed the sides with the hose then began to dry it with a towel ..... I said "first of all are you gonna do the top and second of all the guy is very obviously rubbing a significant amount of dirt, leaves, and spider webs in with the dry towel. He said no it would cost another $40 to clean it the right way. I told him this was ridiculous and he literally said fuck you to us. And took our money. Decided to give this car wash a first try since five points car wash was super busy and I got the package #2 that was $32 that includes exterior wash & interior cleaning sealer wax, tire dressing and fragrance it wasn't cheap but my car was dirty from the outside , wait time not bad at all well when I got my car it didn't have a fragrance in there so I told them and they asked me what kind of smell do I like, when I got in my car it was like they didn't wipe any of the surfaces in there at all, the dashboard was dusty and it still had a water mark that my son left when he placed a cup on it, the arm rests on the doors when dusty too when I swiped my finger, the center console as well, this is why I didn't get the basic car wash because I wanted a good cleaning inside & outside Will not be returning , they weren't busy at all so it's not like they were in a hurry , 2 stars because they did a good job on the outside read more

This is the only place I take my car for wash and vacuum. The man greets me immediately and begins vacuuming. Then car is taken to wash area and hosed off to remove the dust, dirt and road debris. The car is then washed by hand and then put through the rinse and wax cycle of the auto scrubber. When the car come out at other end, it is hand dried and window washed inside. Not sure why the bad reviews because none of them describe my experience. I have used most of the other car washes in Venture and even though most are fairly good, the Auto Scrubber on Thompson Blvd in Ventura is the the best. read more

Not sure why they have 3.5 stars. My guess is those who complained came in when they were having bad days and expected $100 detailing for $9.99 -- NOT GONNA HAPPEN. The prices here are super fair for what's offered. The workers are all really nice and attentive as well. I've brought in my Mercedes and Audi in a few times and always receive what I paid for--if not more! (Go with package #3!) This place is really a 5 star car wash. I don't know how they have 3.5 stars? The owner and maybe his dad are super nice and very attentive. $20 for inside and out without the tires is a deal to me. Their workers seem to like their jobs and work quick but not so quick you feel like it's not worth the money. I've never waited more than 25 minutes and it's always super busy! More people should be okay with the cost of this place. I read the other reviews and it seems stupid that they expect all these extra things on top of what they pay for? Keep on! After moving the old homestead from Oxnard to Ventura this past weekend, the pickup truck was dirty as a dog and needed a good bath. $12.99 was the cost for a thorough handwash, tire treatment, & vacuum job. I'd say the pricing was reasonable enough, but a word of advice: don't be in a hurry 'cause they're certainly not. I'd suggest that you allocate at least 1/2 hour on a modestly busy day. P.S. Wow.. What a huge disappointment this place was.. I just came home from getting my car washed here.. The only thing that lured me in was all of the positive reviews. Sadly to to say the service was just not up to par. Sods everywhere, hard water stains, dirty inside and a half-ass job of dressing the vinyl. I am a regular here. We have a running joke with the check-in guy that we are getting our cars washed to make it rain. They have a 24 hour rain guarantee. Most of the time I get a thorough cleaning, but they are more than willing to go over spots I notice that they miss. My car was filthy so while driving to SLO from LA, I searched through Yelp and decided to stop by. It's a really tiny car wash and I really do like that it's 100% hand wash. It does take some extra time, consequently, so don't stop by if you're in a rush. The man at the end was really thorough in wiping down my car and I really appreciated it. Side note: I don't know if tipping here isn't the norm, but all the other patrons I saw didn't tip, and when I tipped, the man seemed shocked and extra grateful. This is the slowest car wash ever. I wanted an external wash only and they let my car sit for 15 minutes before they drove it towards the wash. Then it sat for another 10 minutes before they sent it through the wash. I made a mistake in paying right away. The guy in the office told me to speak to the guys cleaning the car and he did not get out of his massage chair to address the issue. It took 28 minutes to get the car out of the wash. There were not many customers. I'm counting the minutes while they dry it. I can imagine waiting if there were a lot of customers, but there was only one car ahead of me. They didn't even have to clean the inside. Next time I'll wash it myself. They charge $2.00 extra to wash the truck but refused to dry the bed read more

I have never done a Yelp review. Samantha's complaints stimulated my response. I have used Auto Scrubber exclusively for over a year, 2 to 3 times a week. I bought a new car, it is a dark color and needs frequent washing to look decent. Is it always a perfect job, no, it is a "once over" spring cleaning is done by a $300.00 detailer not a $15.00 car wash. You posted, "I got my car washed and was very happy with the customer service. However, when I got home that night from work I noticed oil/tar stains in 4 different sections in my backseat." Then you leaped with to the conclusion that Auto Scrubber did the damage. That is a normal conclusion but not a logical one. It COULD have been done at some time before you got it washed or at some time after you got it washed or before you noticed it. Logic tells me Ajay would be a fool to allow something like that to happen on his watch. And I can tell you Steven is one of his best men. Do you see any bias is saying Steven "conveniently" was off the day you returned, that implies it was intentional and he took the next day off because he had placed oil in your car. I live alone and often misplace things, if I have had a visitor I can entertain the idea that they took the missing item. Luckily I do not act on that conclusion so when it shows up later in the place I misplaced it to I do not have to make amends to them. I also notice I seldom look in the back seat. I feel your pain, you have my sympathy but your photos suggest it might be intentional, reason would whisper, "Is there someone who has access to your back seat that is unhappy with you?" I dealt with AJ the manager on the phone. A few days later I brought it in and AJ remembered me and gave the same price, no bait and switch. Three times in the last 18 months I have taken a car here for the $49.99 (plus tip) hand wax . The same manager was there every time, he is helpful and communicative. They included a deluxe wash too for no extra charge, including vacuuming. There's an outdoor waiting area, but I drop off and come back. The final result looked good and was always ready within 90 minutes, even on a busy Saturday. They accept credit cards. At other hand washes I have had issues with things being damaged by the staff, but not here. I've never actually gotten just the wash, but imagine the experience would be similar. read more

I've come here a couple of times, and they've done a good job in both instances. The people are friendly and don't pressure you into getting anything you don't want. The first time I went by I wanted to get a full detailing done, but the guy who runs the buffer was off that day (it was Sunday). I ended up just getting a hand wash, which turned out good. There was some gunk left over and a few streaks, but for the price I couldn't complain. The second time, I got the inside vacuum and hand wash. I was impressed by the quality of the vacuum job as my carpets had a lot of leaves in them. After one failed attempt at finding a good car wash in Ventura, I was more than a bit skeptical when I tried Auto Scrubber. I went there at lunch time, midweek. When I got there, there were only a couple of cars in front of my truck. So I thought the job would be fast. It wasn't. But then again... good things come to those who wait. I was surprised that, within 30 minutes, the place was full of cars and the other two guests that were ahead of me were still not done. To be fair, one of the vehicles that was taken and washed in front of mine was a truck that had apparently been on a mud run, or driven through rain for days on end. There was so much dirt on that vehicle that it was hard to determine its color. Needless to say, that truck took a while to wash. My truck went after the other... Then I saw them drive the truck back into the wash... they apparently missed some spots - who can blame them with the truck looking like that! When the person checked it after it was washed, they immediately took it back for a second run... it wasn't clean enough for their standards. All this, without the owner or the manager getting involved. My truck was finished without any issues. It was clean and vacuumed properly. IT didn't look like some of the "armor all" areas were done very well, but the car looked spotless otherwise. They definitely will get my car again..., I just hope next time they finish it in under an hour so I can get something to eat during my lunch hour. Keep up the good work, gentlemen!!! read more
